Stampin’ Up! February Pumpkin Kit – Bouquet of Hope

Good Morning! I finally got some of my Stampin’ Up! February Paper Pumpkin Kit put together to show you. The February theme is Bouquet of Hope and it is to provide a way to offer comfort, care, and condolences to those enduring life’s challenges. Here are the cards I made, pretty much according to the instructions in the kit.

The kit makes 9 cards with 3 different designs. The colors and designs coordinate with the Flowers and Field designer series paper that was available during Sale A Bration, so if you picked that up and the Paper Pumpkin kit, you have a lot of options for pretty alternative designs. And I just love the printed linings in the envelopes!

I really love this pretty bouquet! I used the Mossy Meadow stamp spot that came with the kit to stamp my sentiment. The pretty black sequins set everything off perfectly!

This card has the large die cut sentiment with the flowers – so pretty!! The gold foil on the vellum is a nice touch and I used the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread that came with the kit to make a bow.

I mixed things up with this last card. I turned it into a Thanks card with the sentiment from the Simply Succulents cling stamp set in Merry Merlot, gold trim bow instead of Mossy Meadow and a Rococo Rose sequin instead of black. Isn’t the gold floral doily beautiful!!

My final card is one I came up with on my own. I stamped the pretty bouquet in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Stampin Blends – Rococo Rose, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Mango Melody and Cherry Cobbler. I stamped the sentiment in Rococo Rose and cut it out with the Stitched so Sweetly dies. I tied some Mossy Meadow linen thread around the picture and popped it on one of the Rococo Rose card bases from the kit. That bouquet is so pretty that I just had to use it.

Here is the pretty photopolymer stamp set that is included in the kit.

And there’a also a refill kit in the Online store. Here’s what it contains:

Here’s the Paper Pumpkin unboxing video from the YouTube channel showing how to assemble the sweet cards:

Stampin’ Up! November Paper Pumpkin Kit – Jolly Gingerbread

Hello! Last week I received my November Paper Pumpkin kit and I put together some of the cute gingerbread house gift card holders. They are really adorable!

There are three slightly different style houses and I made one of each in the three piece style where you have the card sleeve, insert and envelope. I stamped the swirls in Blushing Bride and the sentiments in Mint Macaron from my stash.

The envelopes are real cute with printed designs on the inside and outside. Here, you can see the lining on the envelope

And here’s the last one showing how the insert fits in the card holder and the envelope. You can decorate the candy dots anyway you want and it’s a lot of fun – I think my grandkids would love sticking the candy dots on everything!

Here are the contents of the November kit. There is also a Blushing Bride Stampin’ Spot with the kit.

And here’s a close up of the stamp set that is included:

Here’s the Paper Pumpkin unboxing video from the YouTube channel showing how to assemble the pretty gift card holders:

And I was inspired by Tami White to make a box for my Christmas tree. It’s open at the top and made with one of the gift card holders. First you cut the flap off the gingerbread house and cut the gingerbread house into the two pieces. I decorated the overlays as usual, this time putting my sentiment on the back and adhered them to the gingerbread houses.

Cut a panel of Bumblebee card stock to 2″ x 6-3/4″. Score the long side at 1/4″, 1-1/4″, 3-1/2″ and 4-1/2″. Score the short side at 1″. Fold on the score lines and trim the little flap off. Cut the bottom lines and adhere Tear & Tape as shown on the picture below. Adhere the side first and then fold the bottom short flaps up before adhering the bottom.

Adhere the gingerbread houses to the side and punch holes in the side and tie a handle with one of the pretty gold trims. I used the Paper Pumpkin Mint Macaron tissue to line the box and now it’s ready to hang on my Christmas Tree! And now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s time to get going with the Christmas decorating!!

Stampin’ Up! October Paper Pumpkin Kit – Joy To The World

Hello! Last week I received my October Paper Pumpkin kit and I put together the beautiful cards. The cards have pretty floral and wreath images in Cherry Cobbler and Just Jade with touches of gold. And there are gold foil words in French and German for an international flair!

I only used the English Peace and Joy gold foil words on my wreath, but they are beautiful! The gold foil on the card base really makes the Crumb Cake elegant, and the embossed layer is a nice touch with the Cherry Cobbler linen thread.

On this set of cards, I made a boo-boo and stamped the inside sentiment portrait instead of landscape. So I had to change up the design, but that’s ok because you can see more of the pretty flowers!

The bow in this picture is not behaving, but the gold letters are so pretty and the pretty Cherry Cobbler printed lining in the envelopes is also printed in English, French and German!

Here are the contents of the October kit. The pretty stamp set has a wonderful wreath and floral image and comes with great sentiments. See the pretty foil words in the three languages. And don’t forget the Just Jade Stampin’ Spot!

And here’s a close up of the stamp set that is included:

Here’s the Paper Pumpkin unboxing video from the YouTube channel showing how to assemble the pretty cards:

Stampin’ Up! September Paper Pumpkin Kit – Hello Pumpkin

Hello! Last week I received my September Paper Pumpkin kit and I put together some of the cracker boxes. I am planning to fill the cracker boxes with Halloween treats to give out, so I pretty stuck with the Halloween themes and used the black cat and witches’ hat. I didn’t decorate them with as many flowers and leaves as in the video, but they’re still cute!

The pumpkin die cuts were too cute, so I paired them with the Whisper White note cards and envelopes to make some cute Thanksgiving cards. I did use more of the flowers and leaves for these cards and added a few items from my stash.

Don’t you just love those little filigree panels and the swirls? There are lots of the leaves and flower die cuts left, so I’ll incorporate them into more fall and Thanksgiving cards for friends. Here are the contents of the kit. Note that it includes a Cajun Craze Stampin’ Spot!

And here’s the stamp set that is included – such a pretty witches’ hat!!

Stampin’ Up! August Paper Pumpkin Kit – World’s Greatest

Hello! Last week I received my August Paper Pumpkin kit and I put together some of the cards. The cards are pretty with the touches of gold and vellum and the trophy, medal and ribbon are perfect for telling someone that they are the best in your eyes. The cards that I made didn’t follow the instructions, and I used some items in my personal stash, but they fit with the spirit of the kit as well as my own personal needs and tastes.

These are the three cards that I made and I’m sending them to family members who I need to reach out to.

For the first one, I wanted to stay with the Mint Macaron theme, so I skipped the blue ribbon, but I wanted to add a touch of gold, so I added a leaf cluster from the Flourishing Gold laser cut specialty designer series paper!

For the second card, I wanted to mount the medal on a banner, so I cut a panel of Bumblebee card stock and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder before adhering the fussy cut medal.

And for the last card, I skipped the shaker card and mounted the ribbon on a die cut piece of Mint Macaron from the Subtles 6×6 designer series paper pack. What do you think? One of the nice things about Paper Pumpkin is that it coordinates with Stampin’ Up! products, so you can easily incorporate goodies that you have in your stash and make your own personalized projects that meet your needs.

Here are the cards that are made with the kit according to the provided instructions. It’s really fun that they included materials for a shaker card!!

Here are the contents of the kit.

The sentiments that come in the kit are perfect for celebrating a special achievement and showing admiration.

Here’s the Paper Pumpkin unboxing video from the YouTube channel showing how to assemble the cards:

And here are some more alternative projects made by the Paper Pumpkin team. Isn’t the pencil box made with the mini paper pumpkin boxes cute?

If you are interested in how to make these projects and seeing other alternative ideas, visit the Paper Pumpkin Facebook Blog. They describe how to make each of these alternative projects and they have additional ideas from demonstrators on projects using the August Paper Pumpkin kit. And checkout the Paper Pumpkin Facebook page because they will have a Facebook Live this afternoon at 4:30 to put together alternative projects.

Stampin’ Up! July Paper Pumpkin – Summer Nights

Hello! Last week I received my July Paper Pumpkin kit and I put together some of the projects but instead of making postcards, I turned them into cards. And it was so easy because the postcards fit perfectly on a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ standard card base. The backgrounds are so pretty with the colors of sunset and the look of watercolor. And the projects really capture the magic and innocence of Summer Nights.

Here are the cards that I put together with the kit:

And you can see that I also made one of the tea light bags. Instead of using just the Blackberry Bliss ink spot that came with the kit, I pulled in my Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana ink pads and stamped the fireworks in all three colors. I did this on the tea light bag, the card fronts and the envelopes.

Here’s the tea light bag with a battery operated LED tea light. That firework cut out is so magical!

And here are close ups of the cards. I pretty much followed the instructions, just adhered them to card bases with Stampin’ Seal.

For the first card, I just adhered the postcard to the front of a Whisper White card base. And it fits perfectly in the envelope.

I adhered this card to a Coastal Cabana card base. The vellum jar is perfect for catching fireflies!

The lanterns in the last card are so sweet and the sentiments in the kit are just gorgeous!

Here are the contents of the kit:

Here’s the Paper Pumpkin unboxing video from the YouTube channel showing how to assemble the cards:

And here is the Add on Kit (item 154973 – $10) that you can purchase here. It consists of 24 beautiful card bases and coordinating envelopes. The card bases are different images than the postcards in the kit, but with the same beautiful colors and watercolor look. The envelopes are so cute with the gold foil and colorful firefly linings.

And some projects that you can make with the the Add on Kit, using the Paper Pumpkin it and other items from your stash.

And here are some alternative projects that the Paper Pumpkin team put together:

If you are interested in how to make these projects and seeing other alternative ideas, visit the Paper Pumpkin Facebook Blog. They describe how to make each of these alternative projects and the Add on Projects. And they have additional ideas from demonstrators on projects using the July kit and the Add on kit.

And if you are interested in the refill kit (item 154956 – $10), you can purchase it here.

Here are the cards that are made per the instructions provided in the kit:

Aren’t those envelopes beautiful!! Here are the cards that I made, exclusively with the gorgeous pieces in the kit.

On the third card, I needed to add a pineapple and lemon to the card rather than just go with the stamping. But it was fine, because there were so many extra pieces!!

The kit comes with a Basic Black Stampin’ Spot and this sweet stamp set. What a fun font!!
