Stampin’ Up! January Paper Pumpkin Kit – Sending Hearts

Good Morning and welcome to another Simple Stamping Saturday! One of the easiest ways to start stamping is with a Paper Pumpkin kit! I just got my January 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit called Sending Hearts, so let me show you how. The January kit was perfectly timed for making Valentines.

The Paper Pumpkin kits are perfect to start stamping because they contain everything you need, including your storage box! When you sign up for your first kit, you will receive a stamping block and each kit you receive will contain all the supplies you need to complete the project – stamps, ink, paper, embellishments and instructions. Here are the contents of the Sending Hearts kit:

This is a great kit for Valentine’s Day and it’s also great for sending little notes of love and hugs. This kit contains pink heart embellishments, beautiful black ribbon, gorgeous red envelopes and a Poppy Parade Stampin Spot. Here’s a close up of the stamp set.

And here’s the mail box valentine I made – I added one of he cute little snails from the Little Treat Boxes Add on to the bottom. Isn’t it cute?

Here are the cute Add On Little Treat Boxes. They are perfect for holding little chocolates! I punched a Pool Party heart to hold the little snail and added a bow from made from the wonderful black ribbon in the Paper Pumpkin kit!

Paper Pumpkin publishes a different kit each month that is appropriate to upcoming seasons or holidays. They are usually card kits, but sometimes the kits will be little containers. On the first day of the ordering period, they publish a description so you will know the theme and whether it will be a card kit or other type of project. They will give clues about the design, but the kit will be a surprise when it arrives. You need to place your order or subscribe by the 10th of each month and the kit will be delivered to your mailbox before the end of the month. And then, the crafting fun begins!!
