Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here is a floral birthday card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals bundle. My background uses the beautiful Delightful Floral designer series paper, but it features the flip side to create an ombre color block look. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week:

I adhered three panels of Delightful Floral designer series paper to a Basic White panel with liquid glue – Pretty Peacock, Parakeet Party and Pool Party. I trimmed the ends to make sure I had clean lines (I am so bad at keeping lines straight and you may not have to do this). I stamped the sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Textured Floral stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on the background and embossed the layered panel with the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. I adhered the panel to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Floral cling stamp set in Berry Burst ink on Basic White and the middle flower in Calypso Coral. I inked up the large leaf cluster in Parakeet Party ink and used a sponge dauber to add Pretty Peacock ink around the edge. I stamped it on Basic White and cleaned up the stamp and repeated it so I had two clusters. I also used the same technique on the double leaf stamp. I cut out all the flowers and leaves with the coordinating dies.

I adhered the leaf clusters to the card front with glue dots and adhered the flowers and double leaf die cuts on top with dimensionals. I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Floral stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a Pool Party panel of Delightful Floral DSP. I cut it out with the large short banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I finished the arrangement with a Pool Party bow and Parakeet Party Tinsel Gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Floral stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flower in Perry Burst ink next to the sentiment and used a Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write marker to make a stem and leaf. I stamped the double leaf in the corners of the panel using the same sponging technique and colors as the leaves on the front. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Translucent Floral bundle is so pretty and I love the Delightful Floral designer series paper!

Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals bundle is a pretty floral set and the Delightful Floral designer series paper that is part of the Special Release coordinates with it perfectly. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week and I featured the pretty Delightful Floral designer series paper:

I adhered a adhered a panel of the Delightful Floral designer series paper to the front of a Parakeet Party card base with liquid glue and wrapped a length of Parakeet Party ribbon around the card front tying a bow.

I cut three panels of Delightful Florals DSP with three circles from the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered the two largest to the card with liquid glue, tucking them under the ribbon. I adhered the smallest circle with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals stamp set in Versamark ink on Berry Burst. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder, shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I did this in two steps, so that the words would be in a straight line instead of over each other. I cut the sentiment out with the long skinny banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it with dimensionals. I finished the card with tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small flower and stems from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals stamp set in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the stems in Pretty Peacock and the flowers in Berry Burst, Calypso Coral and Fresh Freesia. I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

A simple birthday card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals bundle and Delightful Floral designer series paper.

Stampin’ Up! Carousel Horses Birthday Card

The Stampin’ Up! Carousel Horse bundle is such a cute set with stamps and dies you can use to make a pretty carousel. I used it to make a sweet birthday card with rainbow ponies and lots of pink sparkle! Plus, it’s a simple fun fold! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Bright and Beautiful 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Berry Burst panel. I adhered a 2-1/2″ wide mini card base to the layered panel with liquid glue and adhered another panel of DSP to the front. I cut a Basic White panel with the second largest scalloped contours die and adhered another panel of DSP to the center.

I cut the main carousel from Melon Mambo using the pretty Stampin’ Up! Carousel Horses dies. I used the die again to cut the top two cutouts from Bubble Bath shimmer paper and cut the trim from Rose Gold iridescent foil. I adhered the post and base to the scalloped rectangle with glue dots and the shimmer paper with dimensionals.

I stamped the horses from the Stampin’ Up! Carousel Horses stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on Basic White. I stamped the saddle details in Berry Burst and colored the backgroundof the saddle with the light Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blend. I colored the manes and tales with lighht Melon Mambo, light Granny Apple Green, dark Lemon Lolly and light Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends for a rainbow pony look. I adhered the ponies to the panel with glue dots and adhered the top foil decoration with dimensionals. I adhered the panel to the mini card front with liquid glue and finished it with silver pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Carousel Horses stamp set in Berry Burst ink on a Basic White panel. I cut some balloons using the Zany Zoo balloon die from Melon Mambo, Fresh Freesia and Bubble bath and adhered them to the corner. I drew some strings with a Basic Gray Stampin’ Write marker and adhered the panel to the inside of the mini card with Stampin’ Seal.

The ponies in the Stampin’ Up! Carousel Horses bundle are just as pretty as Unicorns and are sure to delight a little girl on her birthday. And even better, you can really ride carousel horses!!

Good Morning and Happy Monday! Today I have a simple masculine birthday card made with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Phrases For All photopolymer stamp set. This is a sentiment stamp set with bold fonts that are great for masculine cards. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Them Bones designer series paper to a Basic Black card base. This is the one with the pretty Fall plaid.

I stamped a panel of Pumpkin Pie Stargazing designer series paper with the background stamp from the Artistically Inked cling stamp set in Pebbled Path ink several times, covering the panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Phrases For All photopolymer stamp set in Versamark Ink on Cajun Craze and sprinkled it with Black embossing powder. Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm Birthday Card

Good Morning and Happy Saturday! I hope you’re having a nice, relaxing weekend! Today I have a Fall birthday card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm bundle and the pretty new Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I used the pretty sketch in Freshly Made Sketches 602 for today’s card. Isn’t it pretty?

I embossed a Calypso Coral panel with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Calypso Coral card base. I adhered a striped pannel of the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the left side of a floral panel and adhered the layered DSP ton the card front with liquid glue.

I cut a panel of Distressed Gold paper with the open leaf branch die from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm dies and adhered it to the card with liquid glue. I cut the large flowers and stems from Mossy Meadow and cut just the flowers from Calypso Coral. I trimmed the stems from the Calypso Coral flowers and adhered them to the Mossy Meadow stems. I adhered the flower to the card front using glue dots behind the leaves and dimensionals to pop the flowers. I made a bow with a single strand of Wild Wheat jute and adhered it with a glue dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on Wild Wheat and cut it out with the skinny long banner from the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card with tiny gold metallic pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Calypso Coral ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink next to the sentiment and colored it with Mossy Meadow, Calypso Coral and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends. I adhered a strip of Garden Walk DSP to the bottomof the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper is so pretty and perfect for Fall florals. And the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Charm stamp set match it pretty well, making a sweet Fall birthday card!

Stampin’ Up! Gone Fishing Birthday Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Gone Fishing bundle is one of the best ever for making cards for fishing fanatics! The two-step stamping makes it real easy to create cute fishing tackle and the tackle box dies are fabulous. I stamped some tackle and paired it with the wonderful Lets Go Fishing designer series paper for a simple Z-Fold birthday card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

After folding the Very Vanilla card base, I adhered panels of Let’s Go Fishing Designer series paper to Pebbled Path mats and adhered each panel to a section of the card base. I used a different pattern for each section to show off this pretty DSP.

I cut a Misty Moonlight panel with the 4th largest Deckled Rectangles die and cut another DSP pattern with the 5th largest die. I adhered them together and adhered it to the front flap with liquid glue. I stamped the bobber, fly and lure from the Stampin’ Up! Gone Fishing stamp set in Pebbled Path ink on Very Vanilla. I stamped the bottom of the bobber in Real Red and the inside of the lure in Granny Apple Green and colored the fly with light Misty Moonlight and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends. I cut them all out with the coordinating dies.

I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink and cut it out with the small label die from the Something Fancy dies. I adhered it to the card with glue dots. I poked a hole in the top of the bobber and tied some fishing line to it and wrapped it around the back. I popped the bobber on the card front with dimensionals and finished with Misty Moonlight Tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I cut a plain panel of Let’s Go Fishing DSP with the 4th largest Deckled Rectangles die and adhered it to the inside panel I cut the silver lure from foil and adhered the lures and fly to the side with glue dots.

The Stampin’ Up! Gone Fishing bundle has so many different and great pieces of fishing tackle stamps and you can make just a few of them to add to the pretty Let’s Go Fishing DSP for a simple card that is really pretty. Or you can go all out and make a tackle box card like the one I made for Father’s Day here.

Stampin’ Up! Darling Details for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Darling Details bundle is a sweet two-step stamping set with Distinktive stamps so you get different shades with the background stamps – so pretty! I paired it with a simple stripe pattern from the Les Shoppes designer series paper for a Birthday card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I used liquid glue to adhere a the Les Shoppes designer series paper to the front of a Calypso Coral card base. For the Stampin’ Up! Darling Details flowers and leaves, I stamped the detailed stamp full strength and the background stamp in the same color after stamping off. I stamped all of the flowers and leaves on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating dies (Yay for dies!)

I stamped the large flower in Calypso Coral ink and two of the medium flowers using Lemon Lolly ink. I stamped 5 of the small flower using Petal Pink – these were only 1 step. I stamped three of the leaf branch in Lost Lagoon (also 1 step) and 7 of the single leafs in Lemon Lime Twist using the two step method. I adhered the leaf branches and medium flowers with glue dots and tucked the smaller leaves and flowers under the petals and around the outside, adhering them with dots of liquid glue. I popped the large flower on with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Darling Details photopolymer stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on Lemon Lime Twist and cut it out with the banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I made a bow with Calypso Coral Braided Linen Trim (from the upcoming Sept-Dec Mini Catalog, available Sept 6) and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I popped the label on top with dimensionals and glue dots and finished with Calypso Coral Pastel Iridescent gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Darling Details stamp set in Calypso Coral in the corner of a Basic White panel. I covered it with a mask and stamped the leaf branch in Lost Lagoon and the leaves in Lemon Lime Twist. I stamped the little flowers in Petal Pink and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Darling Details stamp set are really cute and wonderful to play with. And I still have to play with the gorgeous lacy dies – next card!

Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight Birthday Card

Good Morning! One of my favorites from the last Winter Mini Catalog was the Stampin’ Up Dainty Delight bundle. Happily, the stamp set and dies carried over into the Annual Catalog, so they are still available and I pulled them out to make a floral Birthday Card for today. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a panel of leafy vellum with the second largest Deckled Rectangles die and adhered it to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I adhered a panel of Boho Blue Fresh As A Daisy designer series paper to a Pebbled Path mat and built my flower bouquet on it.

I cut a three each of the small daisies from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight dies from the white Textured Specialty paper. I cut three each of the stems and leaf pairs from Mossy Meadow and cut two sets of flower centers from Daffodil Delight. I adhered the stems to the DSP panel with liquid glue and adhered the flower centers to the petals. I popped the flowers on with dimensionals and tucked the leaves under the flowers, adhering them with liquid glue.

I adhered the decorated DSP panel to the card front with dimensionals. I made a Linen Thread bow and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in Pebbled Path on a Basic White strip and punched the ends with the Banners Pick A Punch. I popped it on the card with dimensionals and finished the card front with brass butterflies.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Boho Blue ink on Basic White. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Dainty Delight stamp set in stamped off Pebbled Path around the edge of the panel and colored them with light Moody Mauve, light Mossy Meadow and light Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to a Pebbled Path mat and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The flowers from the Stampin’ Up Dainty Delight stamp set and dies are really small and sweet. They are so pretty when die cut from specialty paper because of the extra sparkle. And who wouldn’t love to receive a birthday card with a daisy bouquet and butterflies at this time of year?

Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Sneak Peek with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals bundle is a pretty floral cling stamp and die set that will be available in the upcoming September – December 2023 Mini Catalog. Stampin’ Up! held a virtual Creativity Now event last weekend for Demonstrators and showed us some cards made with this bundle and I modified one for my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my FB Live video on my Facebook page HERE. I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Lemon Lolly Card base with liquid glue. I cut another panel of Lemon Lolly card stock with the third largest Deckled Rectangles die and adhered it to the card front at an angle with liquid glue.

I stamped the two flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals cling stamp set in Lemon Lolly ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped a stem for each flower in Lost Lagoon and the double leaves in Lost Lagoon. I cut the panel out with the third largest Deckled Rectangles die. I stamped the flowers and leaves on a Vellum card stock panel and cut them out with the coordinating dies after the ink was dry and adhered them to the panel with a glue dot.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals stamp set in Lost Lagoon on a Basic White panel. I cut the label out with the smallest Deckled rectangle die by lining up the die with the top left corner of the sentiment. After cutting, I lined up the die with the bottom right corner and cut again. I adhered Lemon Lolly ribbon to the back of the sentiment and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I adhered three rhinestones to finish the card front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals stamp set in Lost Lagoon on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flower twice next to the sentiment in Lemon Lolly ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Bright & Beautiful DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Here is the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals bundle:

The Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals bundle is a pretty set that will be available in the September – December 2023 Mini Catalog that will be available on September 6, 2023. Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I pulled out the beautiful Countryside Inn designer series paper and used it with the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners, Lasting Joy and Petal Park stamp sets and bundles to make a sweet birthday card in pretty shades of blue. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge for our Blog Hop this week:

I adhered a strip of the pretty Countryside Inn designer series paper to a Boho Blue mat with liquid glue and adhered it to another panel of Countryside Inn DSP. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I stamped the large image from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners cling stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Boho Blue panel and cut it out with the third largest die.

I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners stamp using Versamark ink on Night of Navy card stock. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut a frame using the third and fourth largest dies. I adhered the frame around the Boho Blue image with liquid glue and adhered it to the card front. I stamped the sentiment from the Lasting Joy stamp set in Night of Navy on Basic White and cut it out with the second smallest die from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners dies. I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the detailed flowers trio from the Petal Park photopolymer stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Basic White. I stamped the filler using stamped off Boho Blue ink and punched the flowers out with the Petal Park punch. I adhered the flowers to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I stamped five of the detailed leaves using Night of Navy ink on Balmy Blue and punched them out with the Petal Park punch and adhered them to the card using glue dots. I adhered rhinestones to the flower centers and a Night of Navy Bow to finish the card.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the Petal Park Detailed Flowers in Boho Blue ink and the filler in stamped off Boho Blue ink. I stamped the leaves inn Balmy Blue and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The octagon dies from the Stampin’ Up! Countryside Corners bundle are a perfect backdrop for floral arrangements and the Petal Park flowers are pretty with the Countryside Inn DSP. The DSP is so sweet, it will go well with lots of different stamped or die cut flowers.
