Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus Sneak Peek

Happy Monday Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle is one of the pretty new bundles that will be available tomorrow with the new Online Exclusives release. It has pretty tropical flowers and great sentiments and it has a hybrid embossing folder, where you can emboss and die cut at the same time. So I did that with my flower and I love the texture! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Happy Hibiscus embossing folder (no dies) and adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I adhered a panel of floral Mediterranean Blooms designer series paper to a checked To Market designer series paper with liquid glue and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set using Daffodil Delight ink and colored it with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I aligned the image with the coordinating die and the embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine to get a dimensional flower. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and tucked three die cut Garden Green leaves underneath.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the rectangular label die using the two step method to cut it out (line up one end and cut it out, and then line up the other end to cut the fancy edge). I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and wrapped Garden Green linen thread around the top to make a bow. I finished the card with three pink pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a mat of To Market DSP to the inside of the card and adhered the inside panel on top with Stampin’ Seal.

Here is the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle – the stamp set, embossing folder and dies:

Item 164880 – Happy Hibiscus Bundle

These products will be available tomorrow in the Online Exclusives. I love making tropical cards during the cold, snowy winter months to warm me up, dreaming of lying on a warm tropical beach. The Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle will be perfect!

Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees Christmas Ornament

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees bundle includes dies that make beautiful layered Christmas trees! I’ll make a card with the bundle tomorrow for our blog hop, but I wanted to use the tree die to make a simple Christmas Tree ornament.

I cut three panels of Dry Brushed Metallic specialty paper and three panels of Winter Meadow designer series paper with the solid tree die. The tree die is symmetrical, so it lines up when you adhere the die cuts back to back.

I carefully scored each of the die cuts down the center and gently folded them along the score lines. I applied liquid glue to one half and adhered another tree die cut to the back. I alternated between the metallic specialty paper and DSP until they were all glued together.

I used liquid glue to adhere a gold 1/8″ trim loop to the top and used retired Opal Rounds to add sparkle to the DSP sections. I wasn’t sure if I should use sequins or snowflakes and whether I should use gold or white, so I just settled on the opal rounds since I had so many in my stash!

This was so easy and so pretty with the specialty paper! One of my first Stampin’ Up! project was making Christmas Tree ornaments, so I was excited when this idea came to me. So tune back in tomorrow for the coordinating card.

Stampin’ Up! Round We Go Birthday Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Round We Go bundle is such a fun set with stamps and dies featuring radiating circles and cheery sentiments. I had to pair it with the colorful Full Of Life 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a birthday card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Full of Life 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic White mat and adhered the layered panel to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base. I kept this flat since the rosette adds lots of bulk to the card front. I used the rosette die from the Stampin’ Up! Round We Go dies to cut two sections of Full of Life DSP and folded along the score lines (it’s so easy!). I adhered the ends together and flattened it out. I used hot glue in the center to hold the rosette – this worked so much better than the last time when I tried to use liquid glue. But I did use liquid glue to adhere the rosette to the card – lots of liquid glue!!

I used the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Round We Go bundle to make a cover for the rosette center. I used the pinked circle to cut Daffodil Delight, the angled petal die to cut a section of Full of Life DSP and the curved petal to cut Blueberry Bushel card stock. I layered these and adhered them together with liquid glue and adhered it to the card with lots of liquid glue to cover the rosette center.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Round We Go stamp set using Blueberry Bushel ink on Basic White and cut it out with the short, fat Stylish Shapes banner die. I adhered the label to the card with glue dots. I made a loopy bow from white baker’s twine and tucked it under the rosette, adhering it with glue dots. I finished the card with glossy dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Round We Go stamp set using Blueberry Bushel ink on Basic White. I stamped the sparkles in the corner using different color Stampin’ Write markers and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Such a cheerful and colorful Birthday card! The rosette does add a lot of bulk to the card front, so it can’t be mailed, but it’s sure to bring a birthday smile. After making this card, I’m imagining using the rosette from the Stampin’ Up! Round We Go bundle with holiday designer series paper to make backgrounds for Christmas ornaments and fancy tags. Stay tuned!

Stampin’ Up! Iconic Imagery Fall Card

Good Monday Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Iconic Imagery bundle is a wonderful Fall and Winter set with great sentiments, images and dies. I used the sentiments with the pretty Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make a simple Fall card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of the reverse side of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. My die cutting machine does not have a lot of force, so it worked out well, but if your machine is tight, it might tear the DSP badly – so I recommend you modify your sandwich to use a regular cutting plate with shims instead of the specialty plate as I’ve noticed that this DSP is a little delicate for embossing. This embossing folder is still beautiful lightly embossed. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Crushed Curry card base with liquid glue.

I adhered a floral panel of Splendid Autumn DSP to a Cajun Craze mat with liquid glue. I used the cute Mini Alphabet dies to cut the letters for ‘FALL‘ from the same background print as the embossed panel and adhered them to the floral panel with liquid glue. I wrapped the panel twice with Copper Clay Linen Thread and tied a bow, securing it with a glue dot.

I adhered the panel to the card with dimensionals and finished with Mossy Meadow dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the ‘Celebrate‘ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Iconic Imagery stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White. I stamped ‘the season‘ using Copper Clay ink and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Iconic Imagery stamp set are wonderful and full of energy. The letters in the Mini Alphabet dies are perfectly sized for cards and are fun with the stamped sentiments. And the floral images in the Splendid Autumn DSP are just beautiful!

Stampin’ Up! Keeping Tabs Pocket Birthday Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Keeping Tabs stamp set has different designs and sentiments for tabs and comes bundled with either a punch or a die to make page tabs for journaling or card making. I’ve used it to make a pull tab for my pocket card insert. I picked up the punch bundle and I used the vine pattern tab stamp with a floral design paper from the To Market designer series paper to make a Pocket Birthday card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

After scoring and burnishing my To Market designer series paper pocket, I applied Tear & Tape adhesive to close the sides and adhered the pocket to a Garden Green Panel with liquid glue. I used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a Peach Pie circle for my flowers.

I used the Enduring Beauty dies to cut a double leaf and two flowers from Garden Green card stock. I also cut the two flowers from Pumpkin Pie and used paper snips to trim the stems. I adhered the Pumpkin Pie flowers to the Garden Green flowers and adhered the leaves and flowers to the Peach Pie circle.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Keeping Tabs stamp set using Garden Green ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the small banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the circle with dimensionals. I popped the decorated circle on the pocket with dimensionals and finished my pocket with a Garden Green bow and Cajun Craze dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Keeping Tabs stamp set using Peach Pie ink on Basic White. I trimmed the bottom of the panel with DSP and adhered it to a Garden Green mat. I stamped the vine tab using Garden Green ink on Peach Pie and punched it out with the Stampin’ Up! Keeping Tabs punch. I folded the tab and adhered it to the top of the panel with liquid glue. I cut a Pumpkin Pie heart with the More Than Autumn dies and adhered it to the tab with liquid glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Keeping Tabs bundle is such a fun set and the sentiments are perfect for making tabs for a journal – they’re perfectly sized for fitting on the tabs. And they are also great for making unique fun cards like this pocket card.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the October Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Giving Thanks” and I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies with the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for my card today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I embossed a Crushed Curry panel with the pretty Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Crushed Curry card base with liquid glue. I adhered a strip of Oxidized Copper specialty paper to the front.

I adhered a Fall treetop panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Copper Clay mat and popped it onto the front of the card with dimensionals.

I used the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies to cut a small Lemon Lolly maple leaf and two small copper clay leaves. I adhered the leaves to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set using Copper Clay ink on Old Olive card stock and cut it out with the label die. I made a loopy bow with Copper Clay linen thread and adhered it to the back of the label and popped the label onto the card with dimensionals. I finished with a Copper Clay dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the maple leaf veins from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Lemon Lolly ink on a Basic White panel. I used stamped off Lemon Lolly ink to stamp the leaf over it to reflect a single leaf from the trees on the card front. I adhered a strip of Oxidized Copper specialty paper to the left side and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The wonderful Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies are perfect for making Thanksgiving and other Fall themed cards with the different leaf images, dies and sentiments. And it goes great with the pretty Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper.

Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder Christmas Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder bundle is a sweet, fun set filled with whimsical snow themed images, a snowman, snowflakes, snow-capped mountains, trees, a cabin and a penguin. It’s a wonderful set for Christmas and winter cards. It coordinates with the Snow Scenes designer series paper (the dies cut images from the DSP!) and I used them both to make a tag Christmas card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of the snow scenes designer series paper to the front of a Garden Green card base. At first I wasn’t sure about green snowflakes, but now I think they’re fun – ans so Christmasy with touches of Poppy Parade! I used the Merriest trees dies to cut a Pool party tag with a Poppy Parade topper. I looped a short length of Pool Party ribbon through the hole and died a bow with Real Red Baker’s twine.

I adhered a strip of Snowy Scenes DSP to the bottom of the tag and cut a Snowman and large tree from the DSP using the Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder dies. I wanted to put a hat on the snowman, so I fussy cut a hat and adhered it to the snowman. I adhered the tree with glue dots and popped the snowman on the tag with dimensionals. I finished the tag by adhering snowflake trinkets with glue dots and popped the tag on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder stamp set using Versamark ink on Poppy Parade. I sprinkled it with White embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the label die from the Perennial Postage dies. I trimmed the end and adhered it to the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder stamp set using Pool Party ink ( full strength and stamped off) on Basic White. I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Poppy Parade ink and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Snowy Wonder bundle also coordinates with the new Snow Day Scrapbooking Workshop kit. So be sure to check out the September Scrapbooking Brochure for more crafting options.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Said Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper has so many beautiful images of Fall meadows and woods that are great focal points for beautiful cards. For today’s card, I used a long horizontal image with a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set to make a rustic Thank You card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Birch Wood 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. I adhered my Splendid Autumn DSP panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and wrapped it with Linen Thread and tied a knot. I adhered the panel to the card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Crumb Cake and cut it out with the Something Fancy die.

I cut a leaf sprig from Mossy Meadow using the Autumn Expressions die and adhered it to a golden woven leaf with glue dots. I adhered the layered leaves to the card with glue dots and popped the label on top with dimensionals. I accented the label with a textured metallic dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped part of the sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White. I trimmed the side with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. For the DSP, I chose a different pattern, as if this is another scene during a country walk.

The simple sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set are great for all occasions and work well with sentiments from other stamp sets. I used parts from a lot of different sets for today’s card, and I apologize. But I love how you can pull pieces from different sets and still make a cohesive, pretty card!

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Friendship Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies are a wonderful leaf set returning from last Fall. I’ve paired it with the Wildly Flowering designer series paper for a friendship card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Wild Wheat with the Timber 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Wild Wheat card base. I adhered a Wild Wheat floral panel of Wildly Flowering designer series paper to an Early Espresso mat and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I used the sprig die from the Cheerful Daisies dies to cut an Early Espresso panel and adhered the die cut to the card with glue dots. I used the two oak leaf dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies to cut a Wild Wheat panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and adhered them to the card with glue dots.

I folded a length of Moody Mauve ribbon (It’s currently on the Clearance Rack at 60% savings!) and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set using Early Espresso ink on Basic White. I cut out the sentiment with the die and popped it over the ribbon with dimensionals. I finished the card with three Moody Mauve dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set using Moody Mauve ink on Basic White. I trimmed the side with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies are some of the best sets for Autumn crafting. There are so many different sizes and types of leaves in the set and lots of pretty sentiments, too. The dies also include dies to cut out your stamped leaves and smaller dies that cut out textured leaves (like the ones I used for today’s card) and labels. It’s a pretty versatile set that goes well with so many current designer series papers.

Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set is a pretty returning stamp set with gorgeous sentiments and great leaf and flower images that coordinate with the pretty bough punch. I used them with the wonderful Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a hugs card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty color challenge this week:

I embossed a panel of Wild Wheat and adhered it to the front of a Wild Wheat card base with liquid glue. I adhered a panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped two leaf clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set using Pecan Pie ink on Cajun Craze and punched them out with the Bough Punch. I stamped three flower clusters using Pecan Pie ink on Cherry Cobbler and punched them out. I adhered the leaf and flower clusters to the card with glue dots. I separated strands of 2023-2025 In Color Jute and tied them together before adhering them to the card with a glue dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and cut it out with the medium die from the Something Fancy Dies. I felt it was too stark, so I lightly applied Wild Wheat ink over the top with a Blending Brush, and it was perfect! I popped it on the card with dimensionals and finished the card with Cajun Craze dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower and leaf clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set using Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze inks in the corners of a Basic White panel. I ahdered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal..

The Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set is a simple and wonderful set that is so versatile! The sentiments are just gorgeous and I love that it coordinates with the Bough Punch!
