Stampin’ Up! Legendary Ride for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Legendary Ride bundle is a great motorcycle set and I used it to make a masculine birthday card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week and I decided to use the winding road panel from the Ready to Ride specialty designer series paper to pick up the outdoors theme:

I adhered a panel of Ready to Ride specialty designer series paper to the front of a Soft Suede card base with liquid glue. I cut the map and winding road panels from the DSP and adhered them on top. I adhered a strip of the checkered flag DSP across the bottom with liquid glue.

I looked through the die cuts from the He’s the Man designer series pack and selected some to place around the card front and adhered them with glue dots. I fussy cut a helmet from the Ready to Ride DSP pack and adhered it with dimensionals. I colored a compass from the enamel sticker icons with the light Soft Sued Stampin’ Blend marker and adhered to the card front.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Legendary Ride dies to make a motorcycle from Basic Gray, Basic Black, Silver Foil and Crushed Curry. I adhered the motorcycle to the card with dimensionals. See my previous Legendary Ride post for instructions on assembling the motorcycle.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Legendary Ride stamp set in memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I trimmed the bottom with a die cut from the He’s the Man DSP and strip of Ready to Ride DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This card was fun – I felt like a little girl decorating everything with stickers! And the awesome motorcycle from the Stampin’ Up! Legendary Ride bundle is the best ‘sticker’ of all!
