Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful Hello Card

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing the first in a series of cards that I made using the sweet Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful photopolymer stamp set. Today’s card is one that I CASE’d from the Aug-Sep Mini Catalog, but I did make some modifications. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Emboss a Gray Granite panel with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. Lightly sponge Gray Granite ink across the letters to emphasize the contrast and adhere it to a Pool Party Mat. Pop it on a Gray Granite card base in the lower right corner.

Stamp the tree from the Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful photopolymer stamp in Gray Granite ink on the sides of a Whisper White panel. Stamp the bird house hanging from the branch on the right tree in Gray Granite ink. Stamp the dots in the tree tops using Bumblebee ink after stamping off once and stamp the sentiment in Pool Party ink.

Adhere a length of folded Pool Party sheer ribbon behind the top left corner one the panel and adhere the panel to the embossed layer in the lower right corner. Stamp two bird houses from the Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful stamp set in pool party ink on Whisper White and fussy cut them out. Pop one on the card front with a piece of dimensional covering the stamped birdhouse. Adhere sequins from the Whale of a Time and Woven Threads sequins to the tree tops.

Emboss a strip of Gray Granite with the Scripty 3D embossing folder and lightly sponge the letters with Gray Granite ink. Adhere it to the bottom of a Whisper White panel. Stamp the birdhouse from the Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful stamp set in gray granite ink in the top corner and adhere the Pool Party fussy cut birdhouse over the stamped birdhouse. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card.

The offset placement of the main image in this card is really different and what made me want to CASE this card. There is so much inspiration in the catalogs and ideas for things that you may not have tried. So look carefully at the examples and
