Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Here’s another sneak peek of a new stamp set from the January-April 2025 Mini Catalog that will be available on January 7, 2025. The stamp set is called the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set and it coordinates with a new punch called the To The Point Label Punch. The stamp set has pretty framed borders for the punch and all occasion sentiments and accents. I’ve included a picture of the stamp set later in the post and you can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I embossed a panel of light Garden Green paper with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the top of a Winter Meadow designer series paper panel. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base.

I stamped the leafy border stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set using Garden Green ink and punched it out with the To The Point punch (both coming January 7, 2025). I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set using Blueberry Bushel ink. I cut a Blueberry Bushel panel with a circle die from the Spotlight on Nature dies and adhered the punched label on top with dimensionals.

I adhered the layered circle to the card front with dimensionals and added some Blueberry bushel Tinsel Gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower and vines from the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set using Blueberry Bushel and Garden Green Stampin’ Write markers on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set has sweet sentiments and pretty borders that coordinate with the To The Point punch. They will both be available when the new January-April 2025 Mini Catalog is published on January 7, 2025. Here is the stamp set:

I love the scripted font with some of the sentiments and think of all the different ways you can use the little coordinating images. Stamped borders on the punched labels are a nice way to dress up a simple label and make it special.

Last Chance Products Now Available!

Retiring products for the current September-December 2024 Mini Catalog are now available in the Last Chance Products category in the Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! is making some changes to their product retirement process. They are introducing a new Last Chance Products category in the Online Store today that will include retiring products from the current 2024 September-December Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives items that are being discontinued. The Last Chance Products category is replacing the current Clearance Rack and will be updated every two months.

Here are the details:

  • Last Chance Products include retiring products from both catalogs and online releases, excluding Paper Pumpkin.
  • Last Chance Products are available while supplies last and will be discontinued when they sell out. Items will be automatically removed from the category and the online store when they are discontinued.
  • Discounts vary and are subject to change. Also, depending on inventory, these products may or may not have discounts.
  • The Last Chance Products category will be updated every other month. Updates happen at the beginning of the month and may include additional products in the category and any adjustments to product discounts.

This change aligns with Stampin’ Up!’s product release strategy of new Online Exclusives every two months and unifies the retirement process for Online Exclusive and Catalog products. The goal is to keep product offerings fresh, trendy and exciting for Stampin’ Up! customers.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the awesome Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees bundle with the pretty Winter Meadow designer series paper to make a simple fun fold Christmas card in Pretty Peacock and gold. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week:

I embossed a panel of Winter Meadow designer series paper with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a flat pretty Peacock card base. I scored and burnished the the mini pretty peacock card base and adhered it on top with liquid glue.

I cut the plain tree from the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees dies from Lost Lagoon and Brushed Metallic specialty paperand adhered them together. The Brushed Metallic paper is shiny and thin, so it needs extra support with dimensionals. I applied an adhesive sheet to the back of a Textured Gold Foil panel and used the curved tree branch die to cut it out. I removed the adhesive sheet backing and adhered it to the tree. I adhered a Pretty Peacock and gold bow to the card with a glue dot and adhered the layered tree on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees stamp set in Versamark ink on a Basic White panel. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the sentiment with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the long label die from the Autumn Trees dies. I adhered the label to the mini card with glue dots and finished the card with gold adhesive snowflakes, including adhering a snowflake to the tree top.

For the inside of the mini card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the mini card with Stampin’ Seal.

The beautiful overlay dies in the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees bundle are gorgeous with foil or glimmer paper and I love a Christmas card with lots of sparkle and shine. I think the Brushed Metallic paper is technically the retired Soft Succulent color, but it looks fantastic with Pretty Peacock and Lost Lagoon. Now which overlay should I use on my next card?

Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season with Winter Meadow Christmas Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set is a set of beautiful sentiments for making Holiday Cards that was released as an Online Exclusive last month, and it is my go to stamp set for Christmas card sentiments. Today I paired it with the beautiful returning Winter Meadow designer series paper for a simple Christmas card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Winter Meadow DSP to a silver foil mat and wrapped it with silver ribbon, making a bow on the side. I popped it to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set in Versamark ink on a Basic White panel. Since there were two sentiments and I had trouble seeing the Versamark ink, I first stamped the ‘Merry’ and sprinkled it with silver embossing powder and then the ‘Christmas’ underneath. I sprinkled the embossing powder again and shook off all the excess. I heated the sentiments with my heat tool and cut it out with the small diamond from the Wildflower Designs dies.

I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished with silver faceted gems.

For the inside of the card I stamped the the pine boughs from the Golden Greenery stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the filler stamp in twice stamped off ink and then the detailed stamp in stamped off ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set in Garden Green ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

A beautiful sentiment on pretty holiday designer series paper makes for a quick Christmas card and the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set is perfect for pretty sentiments. And the beautiful Winter Meadow DSP is 15% off beginning today!

Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings Christmas Thank You Cards

Good Morning! Since most of my Christmas cards are done and being sent out, it’s time to work on some thank you cards. I pulled out some Basic White note cards and envelopes and the pretty Thank You sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings cling stamp set. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I also used the pretty Perennial Postage dies (available Jan 4, 2024) from the upcoming January – April 2024 Mini Catalog to die cut leftover Christmas designer series paper. The dies are the perfect size for the note cards and a good way to finish off pretty DSP scraps. And it’s great that the note cards are still large enough to pop in the mail!

For the first card, I used the fourth smallest Perennial Postage rectangle die to cut two panels of Joyful specialty designer series paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the front of a Basic White note card and adhered the die cut DSP with Stampin’ seal. I cut two holly leaves from gold foil using the Magical Meadow dies and adhered them to the card with glue dots and used red iridescent discs for the berries.

For the second card, I cut a panel of Winter Meadow designer series paper with the fourth smallest Perennial Postage rectangle die and adhered it to a rectangle Blueberry Bushel DSP panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a Basic White note card. I adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and found a leftover Garden Green die cut sprig from the Magical Meadow dies with white berries. I adhered the sprig to the card with glue dots and finished with a white baker’s twine bow.

For the last card, I cut several panels of Christmasy Garden Walk designer series paper with the smallest square and third smallest rectangle from the Perennial Postage dies and arranged them on a Basic White note card. I adhered them with Stampin’ Seal and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set in Garden Green ink.

I left the insides of the cards blank so I could keep it simple. The sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set are so pretty and elegant, so they’re perfect for Christmas designs. And the note cards are great for making a quick batch of cards since they’re a great weight and come pre-cut and scored.

Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow bundle has pretty winter greenery stamps and dies and I used it today with the beautiful Winter Meadow designer series paper for a Thinking of You card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and I used most of the colors in my card:

I also used the pretty sketch from the TGIF #442 Sketch Challenge for today’s layered card:

I adhered a panel of Winder Meadow designer series paper to the front of a Blueberry Bushed card base. I adhered two more panels to Misty Moonlight mats and adhered the larger one to the card base with liquid glue.

I cut a Lost Lagoon panel twice with the sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow dies. I cut the sprigs with my paper snips and adhered them to the top and bottom of the DSP panel as pictured below. I used the berry dies to cut a Moody Mauve panel and adhered the berries to the sprigs with liquid glue.

I inked the leaf stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow cling stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink and used a sponge dauber to apply Garden Green ink in areas. I stamped it on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I made another die cut leaf sprig and adhered them both to the card with liquid glue.

I adhered the small DSP panel to the card with dimensionals over the die cut greenery. I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set using Blueberry Bushel ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the long skinny banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to the card with dimensionals and glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small forest scene from the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink across the bottom of a Basic White panel. I used a Blender Pen to smear the edges of the stamped images and apply Misty Moonlight ink to highlight some of the forest. I love the way this tied the inside to the small DSP panel on the card front. I adhered the panel to a Real Red mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

I love the different stamps and dies in the Stampin’ Up! Magical Meadow bundle and I love the way it coordinates with the Winter Meadow DSP!
