Stampin’ Up! So Sincere With Wanted To Say Birthday Card

Good Morning! Here’s a simple birthday card using the pretty die cut sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies and a panel of the new Sale-A-Bration designer series paper Bloom Impressions. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered pretty panel of Bloom Impressions designer series paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat. This pretty DSP pack is a Sale-A-Bration item that will be available for FREE with a $60 order during Sale-A-Bration beginning January7, 2025. I wrapped it with a length of Daffodil Delight ribbon (from the upcoming Jan-Apr Mini Catalog available Jan 7) and tied a bow. I popped the panel on the front of a Melon Mambo card base with dimensionals.

I used the ‘Happy Birthday‘ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies to cut Blackberry Bliss and Basic White panels. I applied an adhesive sheet to the back of the Blackberry Bliss panel and cut the detailed word and then peeled the backing off to adhere it to the Basic White background word. I popped the words on the card with dimensionals.

I finished the card front with Melon Mambo glossy dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set using Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White panel. I cut the flower and stem using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies using Melon Mambo and Shy Shamrock card stock and adhered them to the sentiment with liquid glue. I cut the center from a scrap of Blackberry Bliss and adhered it with liquid glue too. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies! The layered words are so fun and easy to do – plus the dot for the ‘i‘ is connected, so you don’t have to worry about losing it! And isn’t that new Bloom Impressions DSP so pretty! Sale-A-Bration will run from January 7 – February 28 and the Bloom Impressions DSP pack is one of the items that you will be able to get for FREE with a $60 order. This DSP pack contains 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ double sided paper filled with floral designs in Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock. There’s so much to look forward to after the Holidays!

Last Chance Products Now Available!

Retiring products for the current September-December 2024 Mini Catalog are now available in the Last Chance Products category in the Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! is making some changes to their product retirement process. They are introducing a new Last Chance Products category in the Online Store today that will include retiring products from the current 2024 September-December Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives items that are being discontinued. The Last Chance Products category is replacing the current Clearance Rack and will be updated every two months.

Here are the details:

  • Last Chance Products include retiring products from both catalogs and online releases, excluding Paper Pumpkin.
  • Last Chance Products are available while supplies last and will be discontinued when they sell out. Items will be automatically removed from the category and the online store when they are discontinued.
  • Discounts vary and are subject to change. Also, depending on inventory, these products may or may not have discounts.
  • The Last Chance Products category will be updated every other month. Updates happen at the beginning of the month and may include additional products in the category and any adjustments to product discounts.

This change aligns with Stampin’ Up!’s product release strategy of new Online Exclusives every two months and unifies the retirement process for Online Exclusive and Catalog products. The goal is to keep product offerings fresh, trendy and exciting for Stampin’ Up! customers.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons bundle is a wonderful balloon theme bundle that is great for birthdays and other celebrations. I paired it pretty Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a Springtime Birthday card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun sketch challenge this week:

I cut two panels of Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and adhered them to an Azure Afternoon card base with liquid glue.

I used one of the balloon dies from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons dies to cut twelve balloons from different patterns in the Lighter Than Air 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I used the 1-3/4″ punch to cut a Basic White panel and adhered the die cut balloons to the circle with liquid glue to make a large bunch. I tied four strands of Baker’s twine in a knot and used glue dots to adhere one end to the back of the balloon bundle. I adhered the balloons to the card with dimensionals, pulled the strings taut and secured the knot to the card with another glue dot.

I applied some adhesive strips to teh back of a Basic White strip and cut out the detailed celebrate die from the Wanted To Say dies. I cut out the background die and pulled off the adhesive backing from the detailed die and adhered it to the background. I adhered the die cut word to the card with dimensionals and finished the card with Rainbow dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped balloon in Fresh Freesia and the string in Smoky Slate. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP before adhering the panel to the inside of the card. with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Balloons bundle will be retiring at the end of April, and it’s a pretty versatile set.

Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say Card

Good Morning! Here’s a cheerful Get Well card using the wonderful word dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies and the pretty Sunny Days Sale-A-Bration designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of the pretty Sunny Days Sale-A-Bration designer series paper to the front of a Pool Party Card base and another strip to the back panel of this simple fun fold.

I used adhesive sheets on the back of a Poppy Parade panel and cut the detailed word die from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies. With the adhesive sheet, I went back and forth in my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine a couple of times to make sure it cut all the way through since the die has fine details. I cut the background die from Basic White and peeled the adhesive backing off and adhered the die cut words together. I popped the words on the card front with a little part hanging over the front flap.

I make a knot in a length of black and white gingham ribbon and adhered it with a glue dot. I finished the card front with black matte dots.

For the inside of the card, I cut the flower and stem from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies and adhered them to a Basic White panel with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal leaving a little Pool Party border with the DSP.

Unfortunately, no stamping on this card, but I love word dies and the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say die set is one of the best. And the pretty Sale-A-Bration Sunny Days DSP is sure to bring cheer to someone under the weather.

Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say Feel Better Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies have wonderful layered sentiments for a variety of occasions. I used the Feel Better Soon sentiment with the Garden Walk and One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series papers for a quick get well card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a floral strip of Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow panel of One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper with liquid glue. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Calypso Coral card base and tied a length of Calypso Coral ribbon around the card and made a bow.

I used the Feel Better Soon sentiment dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies to cut a Wild Wheat backing and Poppy Parade detailed letters. I adhered the detailed letters to the backing with liquid glue and adhered the layered words to the card front with dimensionals. The great thing is that the words are all one piece!

I accented the front with three Garden Green iridescent pearls. So quick and easy!

For the inside of the card, I adhered a strip of Garden Walk DSP to the side of a Very Vanilla panel. I cut the stem and leaves from Mossy Meadow and flower from Poppy Parade using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies. I adhered them to the inside panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This mix of designer series papers are perfect for fall and makes a cheerful get well card. And I was so surprised when I realized that this card has no stamping – the Stampin’ Up! Wanted To Say dies do all the work!
