Stampin’ Up! Poised Peony Hello Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Poised Peony stamp set from the current Annual Catalog has pretty flowers and sentiments and I used it along with a striped pattern from the Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to make a simple Hello card for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to a Basic White mat and popped it onto the front of a Petal Pink card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Poised Peony stamp set using Smoky Slate ink on Petal Pink and cut it out with one of the circle dies from the Spotlight On Nature dies. I adhered it to the card with liquid glue. I stamped the medium sized flower from the Stampin’ Up! Poised Peony stamp set using Smoky Slate ink and colored it with the Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with another, smaller circle die and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I used the small butterfly die from the Sketched Butterflies dies to cut Gray Granite card stock, gently turned the wings up and adhered it to the card with a rolled up glue dotstuck to it’s body. I finished the card with a small white bow and Petal Pink dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Poised Peony stamp set using Smoky Slate ink at the top of a Basic White panel. I colored it with Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Poised Peony stamp set is simple with pretty flowers and sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden is part of the new Online Exclusives release that will be available on March 4. It includes a pretty floral stamp set with coordinating dies and there is also a set of designer series paper that goes with it – the Lovely Garden designer series paper. I used both of these for a simple encouragement card. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post and I also included a picture of the bundle and the beautiful DSP as well.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Lovely Garden designer series paper to the front of a Garden Green card base with liquid glue. I adhered a colorful panel of the DSP to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set using Versamark ink on Basic Black and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut out the sentiment with the long label die from the Delightful Wishes dies.

I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and dimensionals and finished with three Melon Mambo glossy dots.

For the inside, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set using twice stamped off Melon Mambo ink on Basic White. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. Isn’t that big flower impressive!

The Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden bundle is so bold and the beautiful Lovely Garden DSP is so colorful and bright. Here is a picture of the stamp set and dies that are included in the bundle. There is also a set of masks for coloring the flowers, but I forgot to include it in the picture. I need to use the masks to color one of these flowers soon!

And here is the pretty DSP. It will be great for all sorts of Spring card making.

These products are part of the Lovely Garden Suite Collection and will be available next week on March 4, 2025!

Stampin’ Up! So Sincere for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set from the current Annual Catalog is filled with wonderful sentiments. I picked an inspirational one and paired it with the beautiful new Mixed Media Florals designer series paper and the paper butterfly cutouts for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun theme challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to a Basic Black mat and popped it on the front of a Poppy Parade card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set using Poppy Parade ink on Basic White and cut it out with the Countryside Corners die. I cut a Garden Green panel of the DSP with the next largest size Countryside Corners die and adhered the stamped die cut on top. I adhered the layered die cuts to the card with liquid glue.

I colored two of the paper butterfly cutouts Basic Black. In order to get an intense color, I used the dark Stampin’ Blend and then use the Stampin’ Write marker over it. I found that it wasn’t intense enough with just one. Also I colored the back sides of the butterflies. I adhered them to the card with glue dots applied to the butterfly bodies and finished the butterflies with black sparkle gems.

For the inside, I stamped the small butterflies from the Sketched butterflies stamp set using Garden Green ink on Basic White I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Mixed Media Florals designer series paper is full of bold, pretty colors that make wonderful cards. The sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set are perfect for many occasions and go well with this pretty DSP. And I just love these versatile paper butterflies!

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels Thank You Card

Good Morning! Today’s thank you card is CASE’d from a sample on the website for the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels bundle. It’s a fun card with layered labels that really show off the pretty label dies and the bold Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Soft Sea Foam with the Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder and cut it into thirds. I adhered the embossed panels to the front of a Soft Sea Foam card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic white and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the banner using the same colors and cut it out as well. I cut a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper with the next largest label die. I adhered the DSP label to the banner with liquid glue.

I used Shy Shamrock and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends to roughly color a Basic White strip with the brush ends and cut four leaf clusters using the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels die. I used the die from the Heart Shaped dies to cut two flowers from Petal Pink. I adhered three die cut leaves to the DSP label with liquid glue and popped the stamped label and die cut flower on top. I adhered the layered label to the card with glue dots and added a Flirty Flamingo dot to the flower center.

For the inside panel, I adhered the last die cut leaf and flower with liquid glue. I used the light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blend to color the flower center and trimmed the side with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin’ Up! Best Family Ever Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Best Family Ever stamp set is a fun stamp set that is perfect for personalizing cards for family members. I used it with the pretty new Mixed Media Florals designer series paper for a very simple note card that lets the pretty flowers in the DSP shine. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a black and white floral panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to the front of a Basic Black card base. Before I adhered the DSP panel, I used the brush edge of my Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker to color the edge of the DSP panel, since it had a white line from the paper core that would have shown up when adhering it to the card base.

I adhered a pretty floral bouquet panel of Mixed Media Florals DSP to a Calypso Coral mat and popped it on the card with dimensionals. It’s such a pretty design and goes beautifully against the black and white floral background.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Best Family Ever stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Calypso Coral and cut it out with a pretty label die from the Mixed Labels dies. I made a bow with Basic Black baker’s twine and adhered it to the back of the label with a glue dot and popped the label on the card with dimensionals. I finished the label with black sparkle gems.

For the inside panel, I stamped the floral sprig from the Mixed Labels stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Best Family Ever stamp set is perfect for making cards with sentiments customized to family and friends. And I love how the sentiment fit so perfectly with the pretty new Mixed Labels dies. Card making is so simple when you let pretty designer series paper be the focal point, accented with pretty sentiments and embellishments.

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals Friendship Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m hoping you are enjoying all the new products that were just released this week because I certainly am. So I’ve used the new Online Exclusives Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle to make today’s friendship card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty color challenge this week and I used most of the colors in my card:

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to the front of a Boho Blue card base with liquid glue. I cut a Basic White panel with the second largest Perennial Postage dies and embossed it with the new Plaster Painting 3D embossing folder before adhering it to a Boho Blue mat. I adhered it to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the large tulip stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends, Flirty Flamingo for the tulips, Granny Apple Green for the leaves and Daffodil Delight for the small flowers. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Boho Blue and cut it out with small label die from the Perennial Postage dies. I stamped the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set, cut it out with the coordinating die, and colored it with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the flower to the card with glue dots and popped the sentiment label on top with dimensionals (I doubled up on the left side). I finished the card with a triple bow made with gold trim and gold flat dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the floral sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel and colored it with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the little ladybug underneath and colored it with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle are so beautiful and this large stamp is huge, so it easily fills up a card front. It’s a great set for coloring, using any technique and it will be wonderful for sending Spring wishes for any occasion.

I used Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight for the tulips, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green and Coastal Cabana for the leaves and Balmy Blue for the small flowers.

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper (available Jan 7) to the front of a Balmy Blue card base. I adhered the floral panel to Shy Shamrock and Flirty Flamingo mats with liquid glue and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set (available Jan 7) using Smoky Slate ink on Balmy Blue and cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it on the card with dimensionals and finished with a Balmy Blue baker’s twine bow and Flirty Flamingo dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the floral sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Smoky Slate ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The beautiful Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle will be available on January 7, 2025 with a new selection of Online Exclusives. Click on the picture below to download a flyer and get the details on the Mixed Media Florals suite products.

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels Sneak Peek

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels bundle is pretty sentiment bundle with pretty label dies that is part of the mixed Media Florals Suite coming in the January Online Exclusives release on January 7, 2025. I’ve used it with a pretty floral pattern from the Mixed Media Florals designer series paper pack that is part of the suite. You can find the currently available products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes. And you can download a flyer with pictures of the bundle and designer series paper below.

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to a Basic Black mat with liquid glue and wrapped it with Basic Black baker’s twine and tied a bow. I adhered the background panel to the front of a Calypso Coral card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels stamp set using Versamark ink on a Basic Black panel. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the pretty label die. Isn’t the die cut border so pretty!

I adhered a butterfly accent to the card with small cut up pieces of dimensionals, carefully hidden behind the wings and glue dots on the body. I finished the card with iridescent faceted gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to a Basic Black mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The beautiful Mixed Media Florals Suite will be available on January 7, 2025 with a new selection of Online Exclusives. Click on the picture below to download a flyer and get the details on the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Labels bundle and the Mixed Media Florals designer series paper pack (and the other pretty items in the Suite).

The new Online Exclusives release is in addition to the January-April 2025 Mini Catalog and will include two product suites, five bundles and additional stamp sets and embellishments. I can’t wait for January 7, 2025!

Last Chance Products Now Available!

Retiring products for the current September-December 2024 Mini Catalog are now available in the Last Chance Products category in the Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! is making some changes to their product retirement process. They are introducing a new Last Chance Products category in the Online Store today that will include retiring products from the current 2024 September-December Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives items that are being discontinued. The Last Chance Products category is replacing the current Clearance Rack and will be updated every two months.

Here are the details:

  • Last Chance Products include retiring products from both catalogs and online releases, excluding Paper Pumpkin.
  • Last Chance Products are available while supplies last and will be discontinued when they sell out. Items will be automatically removed from the category and the online store when they are discontinued.
  • Discounts vary and are subject to change. Also, depending on inventory, these products may or may not have discounts.
  • The Last Chance Products category will be updated every other month. Updates happen at the beginning of the month and may include additional products in the category and any adjustments to product discounts.

This change aligns with Stampin’ Up!’s product release strategy of new Online Exclusives every two months and unifies the retirement process for Online Exclusive and Catalog products. The goal is to keep product offerings fresh, trendy and exciting for Stampin’ Up! customers.

If you have any questions, let me know.
