Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Thanks For Being You Card

Good Morning! The Floral Charm designer series paper is so pretty with florals in lush Fall colors and complimenting designs. I picked a couple of patterns to use with the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle to make a simple card to express gratitude and friendship. You can find the card stock cuts along with supplies at the bottom of my post.

Adhere a Pretty Peacock leafy panel of Floral Charm designer series paper to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base with liquid glue. Cut a floral panel of the DSP into three strips and adhere them to a Fresh Freesia mat. Adhere the mat to the card front with dimensionals.

Cut the top part of the leafy sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day dies from Pretty Peacock and adhere it to the card with glue dots. Fold a length of ribbon and adhere it to the card with Stampin’ Seal. I used a retired Pretty Peacock and Gold ribbon for a touch of glamour, but you could also use the Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends to color a white ribbon and use that instead.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set on a Fresh Freesia panel using Pretty Peacock ink. Cut it out using the small oval label die from the pretty Traditional Labels dies and adhere it to the card with dimensionals. Finish with Petunia Pop shimmer gems.

For the inside panel, stamp the leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set in the corner of a Basic White panel using Pretty Peacock ink. Stamp the sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink towards the bottom, leaving room for a DSP trim. Adhere it to the inside of the card.

I can’t decide which of the florals in the Floral Charm designer series paper pack are my favorite, but a simple card design like this is a good way to show off pretty papers. Cutting the floral pattern in thirds adds a little extra interest to the card design without too much complication.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Birthday Card

Good Morning! Here’s a floral birthday card using the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle and the pretty Floral Charm designer series paper. This DSP has pretty Fall colors, so it’s great for birthdays this time of year and it’s Z-fold card, so it’s perfect for someone extra special. You can find the card stock cuts along with the currently available supplies at the bottom of my post.

Score and burnish the Mossy Meadow card base and adhere panels of Floral Charm designer series paper to each section. Cut a large circle from Basic White using the large die from the Spotlight On Nature dies and stamp the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set in the middle using stamped off Petal Pink ink. Adhere it to the large inside panel with liquid glue – this will provide the writing area.

Using the second largest circle die from the Spotlight On Nature dies, cut a Mossy Meadow circle. Cut a Basic White circle using Stylish Shapes dies and adhere it to the inside of the Mossy Meadow circle (I was playing around with a 2-3/4″ circle punch from my stash that is no longer available and used it instead). Adhere the layered circles to the card front with liquid glue, aligning it with the Basic White circle on the inside panel. Be careful to only apply glue to the section attached to the front flap.

Stamp the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set on Basic White and color it with the Petal Pink, light Old Olive, light Mossy Meadow and light Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends. Use blending techniques for the greens on the leaves and the Petal Pinks on the flowers and then add s few light Cajun Craze touches to the corners of the flowers. cut the flower out with the coordinating die and adhere it to the circle with dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment using Cajun Craze ink on Timid Tiger and trim the ends into fishtails using your paper snips. Adhere the label to the card with glue dots. Cut two Mossy Meadow leaf clusters using the small leaf die from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day dies and adhere them to the front and inside of the card. Finish with an Old Olive linen thread bow and Petal Pink shimmer dots.

The florals in the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle are so easy and fun to color and I love the sentiments and coordinating dies. A fun fold always makes a birthday card extra special and the Z-fold is a fairly easy card to make. Give it a try!

Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Fun Fold Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle is such a pretty set and the coordinating Floral Charm designer series paper is one of my favorites. I used the paper to make a modified Joy Fold card today – a design that shows both sides of pretty DSP and is so easy to make. You can find the card stock cuts along with the supplies at the bottom of my post.

I used one of the plainer patterns of the pretty DSP because it reminds me of a retired Fall DSP with similar colors and leaves, so my card has a Fall feel. But I’ve seen this style made with other patterns and they’re all so pretty! Start by folding and burnishing the large DSP panel and adhering it to a Night of Navy card base.

Emboss a Basic White panel with the Pressed Flowers embossing folder and adhere it to the front of the Timid Tiger mini card. Adhere a panel of Floral Charm DSP to the inside of the front flap. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set using Versamark ink on Night of Navy. Sprinkle it with white embossing powder and heat set. Cut out the sentiment with the Spotlight on Nature die.

Stamp the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and color it with Crumb Cake, Timid Tiger, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. Cut it out with the coordinating die and adhere a Cajun Craze linen thread (retired) bow to the back with a glue dot. Cut out the large leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day dies from Mossy Meadow and adhere it to the mini card with glue dots. Adhere the die cut flower to the mini card with dimensionals and the label with glue dots. Finish with the new Cajun Craze and Gold sparkle gems (sneak peek of Online Exclusives available September 3, 2025).

For the inside panel, stamp the small leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set using stamped off Mossy Meadow ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. Adhere the panel to the inside of the mini card with Stampin’ Seal and adhere the mini card to the larger card with liquid glue.

Isn’t this a fun new way to do a Joy Fold card? I’m so happy I finally got to stamp and color a flower from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle and I’m so pleased with the results. I hope you like it and give this beautiful set a try.

Stampin’ Up! Charming Day for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m so glad to be back and I’ve made a thank you card with the beautiful new Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle and the Floral Charm designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

Use the brush tip of the Night of Navy Stampin’ Write marker to color the edge of the Night of Navy Floral Charm designer series paper panel so that the white core doesn’t show through (optional) and adhere the panel to the front of a Night of Navy card base.

Adhere the floral design Floral Charm DSP panel to a Night of Navy mat and pop it on the card with dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set using Night of Navy ink on the right side of a Basic White panel and cut it out with one of the Textured Notes dies. Adhere the label to the card with glue dots.

Cut the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day dies from Berry Burst and the leaf sprig from Pretty Peacock. Adhere the leaf to the card with glue dots and the flower with bits of dimensionals. Make a Secret Sea Bow and adhere it with a glue dot and finish with Berry Burst dots.

For the inside, adhere a strip of DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhere it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle and Floral Charm designer series paper pack are so beautiful and easily make pretty cards.
