Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus Thank You Card

Good Morning! Are you ready for a Tropical Escape? I love tropical stamp sets like the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle for this time of year, because it reminds me of warm sunshine and tropical beaches at this cold time of year – and I’m ready to escape there! So I put together a fun little thank you card using the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle to warm me up. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of light Pool Party card stock with the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus embossing folder. The light Pool Party is from the two-tone scrapbooking collection card stock and makes a nice subtle contrast with regular Pool Party card stock. And I love that you can use the hybrid embossing folder without the dies! I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Pool Party card base.

I stamped the three flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the detailed stamp for each flower using Poppy Parade ink. I used the dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to color the centers and stamen and the Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends to fill in the white spaces. Finally, I used the dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend to intensify the color in the centers of the flowers. After all the coloring, I carefully placed each flower back in the embossing folder and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine to give the flowers dimension.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and cut it out with the circle die. I adhered the label to the card with glue dots. I adhered the middle sized flower with glue dots and the large flower with dimensionals. I cut four leaves from Garden Green and adhered them with glue dots, tucking the stems under the flowers. I cut three small flowers from Petal Pink and adhered them with glue dots and accented the centers with yellow sequins. I adhered additional green sequins around the flowers to add a touch more shine.

I left the inside of the card pretty simple, trimming a Basic White panel with an embossed strip of light Pool Party and adhering another die cut leaf and flower from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus dies to the corner (I even added a little sequin to the flower center, I hope it doesn’t poke through the front. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle is a wonderful tropical floral bundle from the Online Exclusives collection. It has two-step stamping flowers and leaves in different sizes and pretty sentiments. And it has the hybrid embossing folder with the three flower die to cut and emboss at the same time, along with additional dies for labels and die cut accent flowers and leaves.

Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy New Year and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle set has pretty spring florals and ladybugs and is part of the Mixed Media Florals suite – a part of a new collection of Online Exclusives that will be available next week on January 7. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post. And you can download a flyer with pictures of the Mixed Media Florals suite below.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I stamped part of the large floral bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Smoky Slate ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped another floral sprig in the top corner and colored the flowers and leaves with watercolor pencils. I used Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight for the tulips, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green and Coastal Cabana for the leaves and Balmy Blue for the small flowers.

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper (available Jan 7) to the front of a Balmy Blue card base. I adhered the floral panel to Shy Shamrock and Flirty Flamingo mats with liquid glue and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Mixed Labels stamp set (available Jan 7) using Smoky Slate ink on Balmy Blue and cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it on the card with dimensionals and finished with a Balmy Blue baker’s twine bow and Flirty Flamingo dots.

For the inside panel, I stamped the floral sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals stamp set using Smoky Slate ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The beautiful Stampin’ Up! Mixed Florals bundle will be available on January 7, 2025 with a new selection of Online Exclusives. Click on the picture below to download a flyer and get the details on the Mixed Media Florals suite products.

Stampin’ Up! Terrific Toadstools Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Terrific Toadstools bundle is a fun new stamp and punch bundle from the upcoming January-April 2025 Mini Catalog. It’s full of cute mushrooms and sentiments and there’s a coordinating pack of designer series paper that you can get for FREE with a $60 order during Sale-A-Bration! Both the new Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration will start on January 7, 2025. You can find the currently available products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Sale-A-Bration Toadstool Gardens 6″ x 6″ designer series paper (available Jan 7, 2025) to a Pebbled Path mat. I adhered another strip of the DSP to another mat and adhered them both to the front background panel with liquid glue. I adhered the background panel to the front of a Granny Apple Green card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the ground from the Stampin’ Up! Terrific Toadstools stamp set using Granny Apple Green ink on Basic White. I stamped the triple stem twice using Gray Granite ink and the small mushroom caps using Fresh Freesia ink. I stamped the ladybug using Pebbled Path ink and the sentiment in the top corner using Gray Granite ink. I cut the stamped scene with the largest square from the Stylish Shapes dies and adhered it to Pebbled Path and Granny Apple Green mats. I adhered the panel to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the mushroom caps from the Stampin’ Up! Terrific Toadstools stamp set using Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie inks and punched them out with the coordinating punch. I stamped the large stem using Gray Granite ink on Basic White and fussy cut it with my paper snips. I stamped the smallest cap using Real Red ink and fussy cut it with my paper snips and adhered it to the ladybug with liquid glue. I punched the small stem using Gray Granite card stock and trimmed the top with my paper snips. I adhered the stems to the mushroom caps with liquid glue and popped them on the card with dimensionals. I finished with small Melon Mambo adhesive sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the small mushrooms and stems from the Stampin’ Up!
Terrific Toadstools stamp set in Gray Granite and Fresh Freesia inks on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

In this closeup, you can see that the punch doesn’t leave a white border around the mushroom caps. It makes it so easy to line up – aren’t they so cute! So my fussy cutting was on the inside edge of the stamped images to get a similar look – again, it makes fussy cutting pretty easy. Here is the Stampin’ Up! Terrific Toadstools bundle – the stamp set and punch:

Item 164880 – Happy Hibiscus Bundle

That’s when you’ll be able to get the pretty Toadstool Gardens 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for FREE with a $60 order.

Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Here’s another sneak peek of a new stamp set from the January-April 2025 Mini Catalog that will be available on January 7, 2025. The stamp set is called the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set and it coordinates with a new punch called the To The Point Label Punch. The stamp set has pretty framed borders for the punch and all occasion sentiments and accents. I’ve included a picture of the stamp set later in the post and you can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I embossed a panel of light Garden Green paper with the Cane Weave 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the top of a Winter Meadow designer series paper panel. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base.

I stamped the leafy border stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set using Garden Green ink and punched it out with the To The Point punch (both coming January 7, 2025). I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set using Blueberry Bushel ink. I cut a Blueberry Bushel panel with a circle die from the Spotlight on Nature dies and adhered the punched label on top with dimensionals.

I adhered the layered circle to the card front with dimensionals and added some Blueberry bushel Tinsel Gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower and vines from the Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set using Blueberry Bushel and Garden Green Stampin’ Write markers on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Bright Borders stamp set has sweet sentiments and pretty borders that coordinate with the To The Point punch. They will both be available when the new January-April 2025 Mini Catalog is published on January 7, 2025. Here is the stamp set:

I love the scripted font with some of the sentiments and think of all the different ways you can use the little coordinating images. Stamped borders on the punched labels are a nice way to dress up a simple label and make it special.

Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora Thank You Card

Good morning and Happy December! The Regal Winter designer series paper is so beautiful and it goes perfectly with the Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora bundle. This bundle has pretty flowers and sentiments and the dies include a beautiful label die. I used the bundle and DSP to make a Thank You card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Regal Winter designer series paper to a Basic White mat and then to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base with liquid glue.

I cut the pretty label die from the Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora dies from Basic White and stamped the leaf and twig cluster in Granny Apple Green. I stamped the sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink and adhered the label to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the triple flower cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora stamp set using Real Red ink on Basic White andcut them out with the coordinating die. I adhered the flowers to the label with dimensionals. I used the Layers of Beauty dies to cut the long skinny leaf sprigs from Shaded Spruce and adhered them under the flowers with liquid glue. I finished with a Cherry Cobbler bow and iridescent foil gems in the flower centers.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Regal Flora stamp set using Real Red ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus Sneak Peek

Happy Monday Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle is one of the pretty new bundles that will be available tomorrow with the new Online Exclusives release. It has pretty tropical flowers and great sentiments and it has a hybrid embossing folder, where you can emboss and die cut at the same time. So I did that with my flower and I love the texture! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Happy Hibiscus embossing folder (no dies) and adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I adhered a panel of floral Mediterranean Blooms designer series paper to a checked To Market designer series paper with liquid glue and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set using Daffodil Delight ink and colored it with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I aligned the image with the coordinating die and the embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine to get a dimensional flower. I adhered it to the card with dimensionals and tucked three die cut Garden Green leaves underneath.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the rectangular label die using the two step method to cut it out (line up one end and cut it out, and then line up the other end to cut the fancy edge). I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and wrapped Garden Green linen thread around the top to make a bow. I finished the card with three pink pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a mat of To Market DSP to the inside of the card and adhered the inside panel on top with Stampin’ Seal.

Here is the Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle – the stamp set, embossing folder and dies:

Item 164880 – Happy Hibiscus Bundle

These products will be available tomorrow in the Online Exclusives. I love making tropical cards during the cold, snowy winter months to warm me up, dreaming of lying on a warm tropical beach. The Stampin’ Up! Happy Hibiscus bundle will be perfect!

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the October Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Giving Thanks” and I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! I embossed a Crushed Curry panel with the pretty Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Crushed Curry card base with liquid glue. I adhered a strip of Oxidized Copper specialty paper to the front.

I adhered a Fall treetop panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Copper Clay mat and popped it onto the front of the card with dimensionals.

I used the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies to cut a small Lemon Lolly maple leaf and two small copper clay leaves. I adhered the leaves to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set using Copper Clay ink on Old Olive card stock and cut it out with the label die. I made a loopy bow with Copper Clay linen thread and adhered it to the back of the label and popped the label onto the card with dimensionals. I finished with a Copper Clay dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the maple leaf veins from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Lemon Lolly ink on a Basic White panel. I used stamped off Lemon Lolly ink to stamp the leaf over it to reflect a single leaf from the trees on the card front. I adhered a strip of Oxidized Copper specialty paper to the left side and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The wonderful Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies are perfect for making Thanksgiving and other Fall themed cards with the different leaf images, dies and sentiments. And it goes great with the pretty Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Said Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper has so many beautiful images of Fall meadows and woods that are great focal points for beautiful cards. For today’s card, I used a long horizontal image with a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set to make a rustic Thank You card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Crumb Cake card stock with the Birch Wood 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. I adhered my Splendid Autumn DSP panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and wrapped it with Linen Thread and tied a knot. I adhered the panel to the card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Crumb Cake and cut it out with the Something Fancy die.

I cut a leaf sprig from Mossy Meadow using the Autumn Expressions die and adhered it to a golden woven leaf with glue dots. I adhered the layered leaves to the card with glue dots and popped the label on top with dimensionals. I accented the label with a textured metallic dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped part of the sentiment from the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White. I trimmed the side with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. For the DSP, I chose a different pattern, as if this is another scene during a country walk.

The simple sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said stamp set are great for all occasions and work well with sentiments from other stamp sets. I used parts from a lot of different sets for today’s card, and I apologize. But I love how you can pull pieces from different sets and still make a cohesive, pretty card!

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Friendship Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies are a wonderful leaf set returning from last Fall. I’ve paired it with the Wildly Flowering designer series paper for a friendship card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Wild Wheat with the Timber 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Wild Wheat card base. I adhered a Wild Wheat floral panel of Wildly Flowering designer series paper to an Early Espresso mat and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I used the sprig die from the Cheerful Daisies dies to cut an Early Espresso panel and adhered the die cut to the card with glue dots. I used the two oak leaf dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies to cut a Wild Wheat panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and adhered them to the card with glue dots.

I folded a length of Moody Mauve ribbon (It’s currently on the Clearance Rack at 60% savings!) and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set using Early Espresso ink on Basic White. I cut out the sentiment with the die and popped it over the ribbon with dimensionals. I finished the card with three Moody Mauve dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set using Moody Mauve ink on Basic White. I trimmed the side with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies are some of the best sets for Autumn crafting. There are so many different sizes and types of leaves in the set and lots of pretty sentiments, too. The dies also include dies to cut out your stamped leaves and smaller dies that cut out textured leaves (like the ones I used for today’s card) and labels. It’s a pretty versatile set that goes well with so many current designer series papers.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions Interactive Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions bundle is unique Fall themed bundle with gorgeous sentiments and a fun double frame die. I paired it with the pretty Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make an interactive card where the pretty double frame opens to show a sentiment inside. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a Cherry Cobbler panel ofSplendid Autumn DSP with the pretty Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder. I had problems with the DSP tearing and it didn’t look as good with the dark color, so I re-did it, using shims rather than the proper cutting sandwich so the pressure is less. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Pebbled Path card base with liquid glue.

I cut a copper textured foil panel with the frame, clasp and chain dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions dies. I picked out a small landscape from the Splendid Autumn DSP and cut it out with the large opening in the Frame die. I carefully applied liquid glue around the edge and adhered it to the small opening side of the copper foil frame. I burnished the folds of the frame and adhered the clasp on the large side and the chain on top using liquid glue. Note that I adhered the clasp facing down, so that it will hold the frame closed. I adhered the frame to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions stamp set using Pebbled Path ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the large opening in the frame die and adhered it to the card (inside of the frame) with glue dots. I closed the frame by tucking the front flap under the clasp and finished the card with bronze sequins and a Wild Wheat bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the wood from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions stamp set using stamped off Pebbled Path ink on Basic White. I cut a Cherry Cobbler leaf and adhered it to the panel and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The double frame die from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions is so unique and versatile! I’ve used the inside as a label die and seen the frame used for sentiments as well as a frame. I’ve also seen it used with the chain as the sides of a fancy treat box or mini purse. Today’s card is simple by comparison, but I used foil, and anything with foil is fabulous!
