Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Last Weekend Stampin’ Up! held a virtual event called Creativity Now featuring the Stampin’ Up! Translucent Florals bundle, a bundle from the upcoming September – December 3032 Mini Catalog. Earlier in the week, I made another card in Lemon Lolly featuring the bundle and today I’m sharing all the cards that I made during the event. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

  • On the back of the dot-pattern Vellum Basics DSP , color one section with a Light Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend. Color a larger section with a Dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blend.
  • Cut two leaves from the Dark Granny Apple Green colored vellum
  • Cut two smaller flower pieces from the Light Calypso Coral colored vellum

  • Assemble the die-cut flower pieces and glue them together with glue dots
  • Adhere the leaves and flowers to the card using glue dots

Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today’s card features the pretty Countryside Inn designer series paper with the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves photopolymer stamp set. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge for our Blog Hop this week:

I embossed a panel of Countryside Inn designer series paper with the Countryside Blossoms embossing folder and adhered it to a Misty Moonlight mat. This pattern fits perfectly in the embossing folder, so you add the embossed texture to the paper and it comes out so pretty! I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Boho Blue card base.

I cut a leaf cluster with the Bough punch from Misty Moonlight and cut the top section again so I had 1-1/2 leaf clusters. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set in Balmy Blue on Basic White and punched them out with the Bough Punch. I adhered the stem of the flowers to the full leaf cluster with liquid glue and adhered all the leaves to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Boho Blue card stock. I cut it out with the fat, long banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies using the two step die cutting method, so that it was shorter and fit the sentiment. I adhered a length of Night of Navy ribbon to the back with glue dots and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with Boho Blue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the branches from the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves stamp set in Boho Blue ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how the Bough punch coordinates perfectly with the Stampin’ Up! Layering Leaves florals! And the sentiments in the stamp set are really beautiful!

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I am still playing with the Paper Florist dies and the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements bundle and today I combined them with the cute Les Shoppes designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge for our Blog Hop this week:

I adhered a panel of Les Shoppes designer series paper to a Misty Moonlight mat and adhered it to the front of a Flirty Flamingo card base with liquid glue. I embossed a panel of Balmy Blue with spray from the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Misty Moonlight mat before adhering it to the card front with liquid glue.

I used the Paper Florist dies to cut flower petals and leaves from Petal Pink, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive card stock. I assembled the flowers with liquid glue and adhered them to the card with glue dots. See the picture below for the dies.

Be sure to save the extra die cuts for future projects!

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements photopolymer stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the label die and adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I adhered a Balmy Blue and White bow with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower next to the sentiment in Misty Moonlight and colored it with the dark Petal Pink and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. I adhered a strip of Les Shoppes DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Timeless Arrangements sentiments are perfect to coordinate with the Paper Florist dies!

Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake stamp set and dies are the perfect anecdote for a hot summer day, and I chose a chocolate shake, my favorite, for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a yummy theme challenge for our Blog Hop this week:

I cut a strip of Bubble Bath with the scalloped edge die from the Scalloped Contours dies and embossed it with the stripe embossing folder from the Stripes and Spatters 3D embossing folder. I adhered it to the side of a Bright and Beautiful 6″ x 6″ DSP panel and adhered the layered panel to the front of an Azure Afternoon card base. I embossed an Bubble Bath panel with the stripe embossing folder. I cut a Basic White panel with the third largest scalloped rectangle die and adhered the embossed panel to the inside. I adhered the rectangle to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the glass from the Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake ink on Basic White (stamp the detailed stamp first and stamp off the filler stamp before stamping over the detailed image). I cut the glass out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. I stamped the shake top in Crumb Cake and the cherry and straws in Real Red. I cut these out with the coordinating dies and cut a little whipped cream from Basic White. I adhered the pieces together with glue dots and adhered the top to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake stamp set in Versamark ink on Azure Afternoon and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the label die from the Cheerful Daisies dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished the card with tinsel gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake stamp set in Azure Afternoon ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the Cherry in real Red and the hearts in Bubble Bath and adhered a strip of Bright and Beautiful DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Share A Milkshake stamp set and dies are fun way to celebrate summer and send summer greetings to friends and family. And as a bonus, they are calorie free, don’t melt in the heat, and won’t give you brain freeze. Now I’m ready for some ice cream!

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies CAS Card

Good Morning! The pretty Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle is a versatile bundle that is so fun to play with and I was inspired by the colorful Gerbera Daisies in the stores to make a card full of colorful flowers. I stamped the petals in each flower in two different colors to create this CAS (clean and simple) card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a Basic White panel with the Painted Posies 3D embossing folder and trimmed it to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ to compensate for the embossing shrinkage. I adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with liquid glue.

I stamped the large daisies from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies photopolymer stamp set three times on Basic White. One daisy uses Real Red for the detail stamp and Sweet Sorbet for the filler. Another uses Daffodil Delight for the detail stamp and Lemon Lolly for the filler. The last uses Melon Mambo and Bubble Bath. I stamped the centers all in stamped off Pecan Pie and cut them out with the large outline die. I adhered the pink and yellow flowers with glue dots and popped the red one on with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Versamark ink on Basic Black. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and trimmed the ends with my paper snip. I tied a bow with white baker’s twine and adhered it to the card and adhered the label on top with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the card with rhinestone jewels.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large daisy from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Real Red and Sweet Sorbet in the bottom corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the center in stamped off Pecan Pie and I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set makes beautiful flowers, even without the fancy die cuts. The two step stamping is pretty easy to do and it’s a lot of fun to play with different color combinations. I think this would have been pretty with all red daisies too – maybe next time.

Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! I hope you are having a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend. I used the wonderful new Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures bundle with the beautiful Earthen Elegance designer series paper for my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. These are new products with the rustic feel of handmade pottery. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my FB Live video on my Facebook page HERE. I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I stamped the thin branch stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures cling stamp set using Wild Wheat ink several times across the top and bottom of the front of a Wild Wheat card base. I adhered a panel of Earthen Elegance designer series paper to a Pebbled Path mat and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I cut a Pretty Peacock panel of Earthen Elegance DSP with the tall vase die from the Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures dies and adhered it to the card with liquid glue. I cut the palm branch from Old Olive card stock and the sticks from Cajun Craze and adhered them to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the medium pot from the Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Gray Granite card stock. I cut it out with the coordinating die and wrapped three short lengths of Natural wavy trim around it, securing it in the back with Stampin’ Seal. I covered it with scotch tape to keep it in place and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I cut the short pot from distressed gold paper and backed it with a white die cut and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card front with three Wild Wheat dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the thin branch from the Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures stamp set in stamped off Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White. I stamped the wheat in stamped off Wild Wheat ink over it and stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the natural textures and handmade feel of the stamps and dies in the Stampin’ Up! Earthen Textures bundle and the Earthen Elegance DSP. The pots or vases are wonderful stamped or just cut from pretty designer series paper, and the sentiments are sweet and done in a wonderful font.

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle is such a special set, with both beautiful stamped and die cut flowers that are so artistic! Today’s card is inspired by a package that is in the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog, but I made it into a card using the beautiful Fresh As A Daisy designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of striped Vellum Basics to a panel of Fresh As A Daisy designer series paper with Stampin’ Seal, and adhered it to the front of a Boho Blue card base. I cut the large triple flower die from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies dies from a Copper Clay panel and cut each of the background flower dies from Boho Blue. I adhered the Boho Blue die cuts to the back of the large Copper Clay die cut with liquid glue. I cut each of the small detailed flower dies from Basic White and used a Blending Brush to apply Copper Clay ink to the centers – be careful as a little ink goes a long way with this intense color.

I adhered the colored detailed flower dies to the top of the Copper Clay die cut with liquid glue. I cut three of the branch sprigs from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies dies from Crushed Curry card stock and adhered them to the card front with glue dots. I adhered the layered die cut flower on top with dimensionals. I stamped six leaves in Crushed Curry ink on Basic White and adhered them to the card with glue dots, tucking them under the flowers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Boho Blue ink on Basic White and cut it out with the label die. I cut a length of Boho Blue ribbon in half and made a loopy bow. I adhered the bow to the card with a glue dot and adhered the label on top with dimensionals. I finished the card with Boho Blue In Color dots – love the shine they have!!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little flower cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set in stamped off Boho Blue ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I used a light Copper Clay Stampin’ Blend to color the flower centers and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Fresh As A Daisy DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love these daisy flower die cuts from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle!! But the stamped flowers are pretty too, so I think I need to focus on stamping some daisies for my next daisy card. Earlier today, I drove past a house that had a huge bed of daisies blooming! It was such a welcome sight after a dreary winter. I didn’t realize that they bloomed this early, but the good news is that we’ll be able to enjoy them all Summer!

Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You Hugs Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You bundle is such a fun set for all kinds of crafters! With stamps and dies for all kinds of crafting, you can make so many different cards with crafting themes! I chose the papercrafting theme for my first card using this fun bundle with a paper trimmer, cut and emboss machine and even a finished card! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Lemon Lolly card stock with the cross hatch embossing folder from the Basics 3D embossing folders. I adhered it to the bottom of a Bright and Beautiful designer series paper panel and adhered it to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base. I used the paper trimmer die from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You dies to cut a Gray Granite panel for the main trimmer and a small Basic Black panel for the trimmer blade. I slipped a panel of Bright and Beautiful DSP into the trimmer and adhered it with some liquid glue. I adhered the die cut trimmer blade with a glue dot. I cut a panel of Azure Afternoon with the ruler die and adhered the ruler and paper trimmer to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the cut & emboss machine from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You stamp set in Smoky Slate ink on Basic White. I colored the gray sections with the light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend and cut it out with the coordinating die. I popped it on the card with dimensionals. I cut three 1″ x 1″ panels of Bright and Beautiful DSP and adhered them to the card with liquid glue. For the last panel, I colored the small flower stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You stamp set with the Lost Lagoon and Berry Burst Stampin’ Write markers and stamped multiple times, re-inking each time, on a small Basic White panel. I cut out a 1″ x 1″ square and adhered it to the card and cut another one out with the coordinating die.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on a Lost Lagoon panel and trimmed the corners with the Very Best Trio punch. I adhered it to the card with glue dots. I stamped the heart on the inside of the scored Bright and Beautiful DSP mini card and adhered the die cut flower to the front with a glue dot. I adhered the card next to the label with a glue dots and wrapped the card front with linen thread twice and made a bow. I finished by scattering some Lemon Lolly faceted dots around the card.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You stamp set in Lost Lagoon on a Basic White panel. I stamped the heart three times in stamped off Berry Burst ink and trimmed the bottom with the Bright and Beautiful DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You bundle since I’ve been crafting since I was a little girl and this bundle captures so many different crafts – sewing, knitting, embroidery, painting and cardmaking. It brings back so many memories of good times!

Stampin’ Up! Zany Zoo with Happy Hedgehogs Friendship Card

Good Morning! See you later alligator! I used the cute alligator from the Stampin’ Up! Zany Zoo bundle and I wanted to make a little park scene for him to ride his bike. The Happy Hedgehogs stamp set was perfect! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the trees from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White, along with some tufts of grass. I colored the scene with Stampin’ Blends – light Flirty Flamingo for the flowers, light Pecan Pie for the tree trunks and light Granny Apple Green for the leaves and grass. I used blending brushes to apply Granny Apple Green ink to the ground and Balmy Blue and Azure Afternoon inks to the sky. I adhered a strip of Smoky Slate card stock to the bottom and cut it out with the third largest Deckled Rectangle die.

I adhered a strip of Zoo Crew designer series paper to the front of a Lemon Lime Twist card base. I wrapped it with Lemon Lime Twist ribbon and tied a loopy bow on the side. I adhered the scene to a Basic Black mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Zany Zoo dies to cut the alligator from the Zoo Crew DSP. I cut another one from Basic White card stock and adhered them together with liquid glue – it makes the die cut thicker. i colored the die cut with Stampin’ Blends – light Azure Afternoon for the bike, dark Smoky Slate for the seat and tires, both Crumb Cakes for the basket and light Lost Lagoon for the leaves. I popped the alligator on the card front with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Zany Zoo stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I stamped the butterfly from the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with Lemon Lime Twist, Petal Pink, Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends. I cut the panel out with the third largest Deckled Rectangles die. I adhered a panel of Zoo Crew DSP to the inside of the card with liquid glue and adhered the die cut panel on top with liquid glue.

The Happy Hedgehogs tree is perfect for Spring. Isn’t riding a bike in the park the perfect Spring afternoon activity? Especially if you are a Stampin’ Up! Zany Zoo alligator!

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Friendship Card

Good Morning! I CASE’d today’s card from one of the pretty Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies cards on the cover of the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. I changed the size, stepped it up with additional embellishments and used the largest daisy in the pack instead of the smaller one. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a panel of Bright and Beautiful designer series paper with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Blueberry Bushel card base. I stamped the outline of the large daisy from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies photopolymer stamp set in Berry Burst ink on a Basic White panel. I inked up the filler stamp with Berry Burst ink and stamped off twice before stamping over the petals. I stamped the large flower center in Lemon Lolly ink and cut out the flower with the coordinating die.

I cut a Berry Burst panel with the large detailed petals die from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies dies and adhered it to the flower with dots of liquid glue. I stamped the stem and leaves using Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered the stem and leaves to the card front with liquid glue and popped the flower on with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on Basic White and punched the end with the Banners Pick A Punch. I made a bow with silver metallic ribbon and adhered it to the back of the label before adhering the label to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with silver metallic pearls.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the detailed side view flower from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Berry Burst ink and stamped the filler stamp in twice stamped off Berry Burst ink on the bottom of a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flower center in Lemon Lolly ink and covered the flower with a mask before stamping the leaves and stem in Pretty Peacock ink. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The stamps and dies in the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies bundle are different, beautiful and so versatile. They can be used in so many ways, and they’re available today! So head over to my Online
Store to check it out with all the other new goodies right away!
