Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Fall Card

Good Morning! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! Here is a gate fold card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden bundle that came out earlier this year. The thing is, my hydrangeas are Lil’ Limelight, which means that they have greenish white flowers that turn a beautiful bronze in the fall (the ones the deer don’t eat, that is). And they’re at the peak of their color right now, so I wanted to make a card using this pretty bundle to capture these Fall hydrangeas. You can find the card stock cuts along with supplies at the bottom of my post.

After scoring and burnishing the card base for the center gate fold card, adhere panels of Timeless Plaid 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front flaps. Use the third largest die from the Everyday Arches dies to cut Old Olive and the next smallest to cut Basic Beige. Emboss the Basic Beige arch with the Birch Wood 3D embossing folder and adhere it to the Old Olive arch. Adhere the layered arches to the left side of the card base.

Stamp the large hydrangea flower from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set using Gray Granite ink and color it using the masks and blending brushes (masks are included in the bundle or can be purchased separately). Color the hydrangea first using Soft Sea Foam for mask #1 and #2 (the color will be darker with the second mask). For mask #3, start with Calypso Coral and add a little Cajun Craze at the end. Use Old Olive to color the leaves with masks #4 and #5. Cut the hydrangea out with the large coordinating die.

Cut two large leaf clusters using the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden dies from Old Olive card stock and adhere them to the card with glue dots. Pop the flower on top with dimensionals and decorate the centers with antique pearls. Finish with a Basic Beige bow.

For the inside panel, trim the bottom of a Basic White panel with DSP. Find the section of the hydrangea from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set that goes with the small flower die and stamp it using Gray Granite ink on Basic White. Color with blending brushes like the large flower on the front and cut it out with the small hydrangea die. Adhere it to the panel and adhere the panel to the inside of the card.

I was happy with how the hydrangea came out using the masks for coloring. My first attempt using Stampin’ Blends didn’t work out nearly as well 😞. I didn’t put any sentiments on the front or inside of this card, but you can use it for a Fall birthday or for any other occasion. I love plaids in the Fall and so many of the Timeless Plaid designs would be great for a Fall card, so don’t forget those items hiding in your stash! Enjoy!

And don’t forget that tomorrow is the Big Day for the new Stampin’ Up! 2025 September-December Mini Catalog to open and a new release of Online Exclusive products!

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments Thankful Card

Good Morning! Here’s another sneak peek of the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle from this week’s Online Exclusives release that will be available on Wednesday, September 3. And I’ve used it along with more of the pretty Gather Together specialty designer series paper. You can find the card stock cuts along with the currently available supplies at the bottom of my post.

Adhere the Cajun Craze panel of Gather Together specialty DSP to the bottom of a Crushed Curry mat and adhere the leafy pattern to the top of the panel. Wrap the seam with the cute Irregular Weave ribbon (available Sept 3) and secure it in the back. Pop the Panel on an Old Olive card base with dimensionals.

Use the Textured Notes rectangle die to cut a Cajun Craze panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle using Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel and adhere it to the die cut rectangle. Adhere the panel to the card with dimensionals.

Stamp the leaves and acorn from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set using Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso inks. Cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhere the leaves to the card with glue dots. Make a loopy bow using Early Espresso linen thread (available Sept 3) and adhere it to the back of the acorn with a glue dot. Adhere the acorn to the card with dimensionals and finish with Cajun Craze dots (available Sept 3)

For the inside panel, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set using Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel. Stamp the leaf underneath in Cajun Craze and trim the bottom with DSP. Adhere the panel to a Crushed Curry mat before adhering to the inside of the card.

Here is the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle. I love the pretty sentiments and the color variation you can get with Distinktive stamps.

And here’s the beautiful Gathering Together specialty DSP.

The Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle is part of the upcoming Gathering Together Suite that will be available on Sept 3 and I love how the stamps go so well with the pretty Fall DSP. The fun new ribbon gives a nice contrast to the border details on the Textured Notes die cut rectangle and nicely frames the die cut leaves and stamped sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today I’m using the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom bundle with the pretty Floral Impressions designer series paper to make a Z-Fold card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week but I only used four of the colors:

Adhere Floral Impressions designer series paper to a Crushed Curry card base with liquid glue. Cut two Basic White ovals and one Garden Green oval using the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom dies.

Stamp the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set using Garden Green ink on one of the Basic White ovals and emboss it with the Pressed Flowers embossing folder. Adhere it to the Garden Green oval. Use the oval frame die to cut a Garden Green frame and adhere it to the front of the stamped and embossed Basic White oval with tiny dots of liquid glue.

Use the inside of the Garden Green frame to cut leaves and stems using the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom dies. Use the flower dies to cut Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling, Fresh Freesia and Peach Pie card stock. Assemble the flowers by adhering the Darling Duckling flower centers with dimensionals and adhere the Fresh Freesia petals with glue dots. Adhere the leaf sprig, Fresh Freesia and Peach Pie flowers to the embossed oval with glue dots and the Strawberry Slush flower with dimensionals. Adhere the decorated oval panel to the card with liquid glue and finish with In Color flat pearls.

For the inside, Stamp the flower and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom stamp set in the corner of the last Basic White oval using Strawberry Slush, Darling Duckling and Garden Green inks. Use full strength ink for the detailed stamps and stamped off inks for the background stamps. Adhere the stamped oval to the inside with liquid glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom bundle is such a versatile set with beautiful die cut and stamped flowers. The oval dies are really special, especially with the frame!

Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom Thank You Card

Good Morning! I was feeling very geometric, so I pulled out the Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and paired it with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom bundle to make a quick Thank You card. You can find the card stock cuts along with the supplies at the bottom of my post.

Adhere a panel of the striped Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ DSP to a Cajun Craze mat and adhered the layered DSP to a Thick Basic White card base. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom stamp set on the card front using Secret Sea ink.

Cut five flowers using the small flower die (use both dies) from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom dies from Cloud Cover card stock. Adhere the flowers to the DSP in a line with glue dots. Add large Darling Duckling Dots to the center of each flower. Wrap Darling Duckling ribbon around the card front and tie a knot. That’s it!

For the inside panel, adhere DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhere it to a Cajun Craze mat. Adhere the layered panel to the inside of the card with liquid glue.

The geometric look is not for everyone, but it is dramatic. The simple die cut flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom dies have enough personality to keep it from being too simplistic and boring. What do you think?

Stampin’ Up! Charming Day Fun Fold Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle is such a pretty set and the coordinating Floral Charm designer series paper is one of my favorites. I used the paper to make a modified Joy Fold card today – a design that shows both sides of pretty DSP and is so easy to make. You can find the card stock cuts along with the supplies at the bottom of my post.

I used one of the plainer patterns of the pretty DSP because it reminds me of a retired Fall DSP with similar colors and leaves, so my card has a Fall feel. But I’ve seen this style made with other patterns and they’re all so pretty! Start by folding and burnishing the large DSP panel and adhering it to a Night of Navy card base.

Emboss a Basic White panel with the Pressed Flowers embossing folder and adhere it to the front of the Timid Tiger mini card. Adhere a panel of Floral Charm DSP to the inside of the front flap. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set using Versamark ink on Night of Navy. Sprinkle it with white embossing powder and heat set. Cut out the sentiment with the Spotlight on Nature die.

Stamp the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and color it with Crumb Cake, Timid Tiger, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. Cut it out with the coordinating die and adhere a Cajun Craze linen thread (retired) bow to the back with a glue dot. Cut out the large leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day dies from Mossy Meadow and adhere it to the mini card with glue dots. Adhere the die cut flower to the mini card with dimensionals and the label with glue dots. Finish with the new Cajun Craze and Gold sparkle gems (sneak peek of Online Exclusives available September 3, 2025).

For the inside panel, stamp the small leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set using stamped off Mossy Meadow ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. Adhere the panel to the inside of the mini card with Stampin’ Seal and adhere the mini card to the larger card with liquid glue.

Isn’t this a fun new way to do a Joy Fold card? I’m so happy I finally got to stamp and color a flower from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle and I’m so pleased with the results. I hope you like it and give this beautiful set a try.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Charming Day for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m so glad to be back and I’ve made a thank you card with the beautiful new Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle and the Floral Charm designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

Use the brush tip of the Night of Navy Stampin’ Write marker to color the edge of the Night of Navy Floral Charm designer series paper panel so that the white core doesn’t show through (optional) and adhere the panel to the front of a Night of Navy card base.

Adhere the floral design Floral Charm DSP panel to a Night of Navy mat and pop it on the card with dimensionals. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day stamp set using Night of Navy ink on the right side of a Basic White panel and cut it out with one of the Textured Notes dies. Adhere the label to the card with glue dots.

Cut the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Charming Day dies from Berry Burst and the leaf sprig from Pretty Peacock. Adhere the leaf to the card with glue dots and the flower with bits of dimensionals. Make a Secret Sea Bow and adhere it with a glue dot and finish with Berry Burst dots.

For the inside, adhere a strip of DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhere it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Charming Day bundle and Floral Charm designer series paper pack are so beautiful and easily make pretty cards.

Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms Christmas Card

Good Morning!! Have you started Christmas cards yet? For my first Christmas card of the year, I’m using the new Online Exclusive Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms bundle and I’ve paired it with the retired Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the card stock cuts for this card along with the supplies at the bottom of my post.

Adhere a panel of DSP to the front of a Real Red card base. Adhere another panel to a Garden Green mat and pop it on the card with dimensionals. Stamp the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms stamp set twice using Garden Green ink on Basic White panels. Stamp the outline floral images twice using Real Red ink over the stamped leaves.

Cut one of the stamped images out with the ornament die from the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms dies. Cut the flowers and leaves out from the second image using the detailed die. Color the die cut flowers with the Melon Mambo watercolor pencil and Blender Pen. Adhere the die cut flowers and leaves to the ornament with dimensionals.

Cut a leaf sprig from Garden Green using the Label Me Grateful dies and adhere it to the card with glue dots. Cut the large ornament holder from Silver foil using the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms dies and adhere it to the ornament with liquid glue. Tie a Real Red ribbon around the ornament holder hole and pop the ornament on the card with dimensionals. Finish with Cherry Cobbler dots.

Stamp the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Bauble Blooms stamp set using Real Red ink on Basic White and trim the bottom with DSP. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The ornament from Stampin’ Up! You Are Remarkable bundle is real pretty in Real Red and Garden Green and the two step stamping technique is really nice for outlining the flowers in Real Red. The challenge was to color the flowers light enough to contrast with the lines and the watercolor pencils worked perfect.

Unfortunately the Take A Bow DSP is retired, so if you don’t have any leftover from last year, take heart because next month a new release of Online Exclusives and a new Mini Catalog are coming out and there are several options for Christmas papers that will work beautifully with this design (as well as any other Christmas papers you may have in your stash).

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!
