Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Sneak Peek for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden is part of the new Online Exclusives release that will be available on March 4. It includes a pretty floral stamp set with coordinating dies and there is also a set of designer series paper that goes with it – the Lovely Garden designer series paper. I used both of these for a simple encouragement card. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post and I also included a picture of the bundle and the beautiful DSP as well.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Lovely Garden designer series paper to the front of a Garden Green card base with liquid glue. I adhered a colorful panel of the DSP to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set using Versamark ink on Basic Black and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut out the sentiment with the long label die from the Delightful Wishes dies.

I adhered the label to the card with glue dots and dimensionals and finished with three Melon Mambo glossy dots.

For the inside, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden stamp set using twice stamped off Melon Mambo ink on Basic White. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. Isn’t that big flower impressive!

The Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden bundle is so bold and the beautiful Lovely Garden DSP is so colorful and bright. Here is a picture of the stamp set and dies that are included in the bundle. There is also a set of masks for coloring the flowers, but I forgot to include it in the picture. I need to use the masks to color one of these flowers soon!

And here is the pretty DSP. It will be great for all sorts of Spring card making.

These products are part of the Lovely Garden Suite Collection and will be available next week on March 4, 2025!

Stampin’ Up! So Sincere for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set from the current Annual Catalog is filled with wonderful sentiments. I picked an inspirational one and paired it with the beautiful new Mixed Media Florals designer series paper and the paper butterfly cutouts for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun theme challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Mixed Media Florals designer series paper to a Basic Black mat and popped it on the front of a Poppy Parade card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set using Poppy Parade ink on Basic White and cut it out with the Countryside Corners die. I cut a Garden Green panel of the DSP with the next largest size Countryside Corners die and adhered the stamped die cut on top. I adhered the layered die cuts to the card with liquid glue.

I colored two of the paper butterfly cutouts Basic Black. In order to get an intense color, I used the dark Stampin’ Blend and then use the Stampin’ Write marker over it. I found that it wasn’t intense enough with just one. Also I colored the back sides of the butterflies. I adhered them to the card with glue dots applied to the butterfly bodies and finished the butterflies with black sparkle gems.

For the inside, I stamped the small butterflies from the Sketched butterflies stamp set using Garden Green ink on Basic White I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Mixed Media Florals designer series paper is full of bold, pretty colors that make wonderful cards. The sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set are perfect for many occasions and go well with this pretty DSP. And I just love these versatile paper butterflies!

Stampin’ Up! So Sincere With Wanted To Say Birthday Card

Good Morning! Here’s a simple birthday card using the pretty die cut sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies and a panel of the new Sale-A-Bration designer series paper Bloom Impressions. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered pretty panel of Bloom Impressions designer series paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat. This pretty DSP pack is a Sale-A-Bration item that will be available for FREE with a $60 order during Sale-A-Bration beginning January7, 2025. I wrapped it with a length of Daffodil Delight ribbon (from the upcoming Jan-Apr Mini Catalog available Jan 7) and tied a bow. I popped the panel on the front of a Melon Mambo card base with dimensionals.

I used the ‘Happy Birthday‘ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies to cut Blackberry Bliss and Basic White panels. I applied an adhesive sheet to the back of the Blackberry Bliss panel and cut the detailed word and then peeled the backing off to adhere it to the Basic White background word. I popped the words on the card with dimensionals.

I finished the card front with Melon Mambo glossy dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Sincere stamp set using Blackberry Bliss ink on a Basic White panel. I cut the flower and stem using the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies using Melon Mambo and Shy Shamrock card stock and adhered them to the sentiment with liquid glue. I cut the center from a scrap of Blackberry Bliss and adhered it with liquid glue too. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say dies! The layered words are so fun and easy to do – plus the dot for the ‘i‘ is connected, so you don’t have to worry about losing it! And isn’t that new Bloom Impressions DSP so pretty! Sale-A-Bration will run from January 7 – February 28 and the Bloom Impressions DSP pack is one of the items that you will be able to get for FREE with a $60 order. This DSP pack contains 12 sheets of 12″ x 12″ double sided paper filled with floral designs in Azure Afternoon, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Peach Pie and Shy Shamrock. There’s so much to look forward to after the Holidays!

Last Chance Products Now Available!

Retiring products for the current September-December 2024 Mini Catalog are now available in the Last Chance Products category in the Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! is making some changes to their product retirement process. They are introducing a new Last Chance Products category in the Online Store today that will include retiring products from the current 2024 September-December Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives items that are being discontinued. The Last Chance Products category is replacing the current Clearance Rack and will be updated every two months.

Here are the details:

  • Last Chance Products include retiring products from both catalogs and online releases, excluding Paper Pumpkin.
  • Last Chance Products are available while supplies last and will be discontinued when they sell out. Items will be automatically removed from the category and the online store when they are discontinued.
  • Discounts vary and are subject to change. Also, depending on inventory, these products may or may not have discounts.
  • The Last Chance Products category will be updated every other month. Updates happen at the beginning of the month and may include additional products in the category and any adjustments to product discounts.

This change aligns with Stampin’ Up!’s product release strategy of new Online Exclusives every two months and unifies the retirement process for Online Exclusive and Catalog products. The goal is to keep product offerings fresh, trendy and exciting for Stampin’ Up! customers.

If you have any questions, let me know.

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty Happy Day Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Designer Series paper sale is ending soon, so I wanted to make a card with the pretty Unbounded Beauty designer series papers using the new 2024-2026 In Colors. Of course I paired it with the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty bundle and a sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I was inspired by the pretty sketch in the Sunday Stamps SSC342 Sketch Time challenge:

I adhered a panel of Sunny Splash floral Unbounded Beauty designer series paper to the front of a Sunny Splash card base with liquid glue. I embossed a Basic White panel with the floral design in the Fun Patterns embossing folders and adhered it to a Sunny Splash mat. I adhered the panel to the card with liquid glue.

I cut a Sunny Splash panel with the large sprig die from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty dies and adhered it to the card with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the So Sincere stamp set using Petunia Pop ink on Pretty In Pink card stock and cut it out with the third largest Stylish Shapes circle die. I cut a mat by tracing the outline of the die on Petunia Pop card stock and fussy cutting. I adhered the sentiment to the mat and popped it on the card with dimensionals.

I cut a Petunia Pop glimmer sheet with the flower dies from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty dies. I cut three large flowers and two small flowers. I adhered the large flowers with dimensionals and the small ones with glue dots. I adhered Pretty In Pink shimmer gems to the flower centers and added a Petunia Pop gem to the label.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty stamp set using Sunny Splash ink. This is a two step set, so I stamped the detailed stamp first in full strength ink and the filler stamp using stamped off ink. I used stamped off Petunia Pop ink to stamp the small triple flower stamp a couple of times. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the shading you get with the two-step stamps in the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Beauty stamp set. And it goes so beautiful with the Unbounded Beauty DSP which is on sale for a few more days at 15% discount!
