Stampin’ Up! Brushed With Beauty for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Brushed With Beauty Suite is has pretty florals and wonderful sentiments. I used the two bundles in the suite along with the designer series paper for today’s friendship card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week:

Adhere a strip of Petal Pink Stampin’ Up! Brushed With Beauty designer series paper to a floral panel with liquid glue and adhere the layered panel to the front of a Lost Lagoon card base. Cut another panel of the DSP with the large rectangle Nested Essentials die and adhere it to the card.

Use the large Petals Of Beauty leaf die to cut a panel of Stampin’ Up! Brushed With Beauty DSP and adhere it to the card with glue dots. Stamp the triple leaf on Very Vanilla using Mossy Meadow ink and cut it out with the coordinating die. Stamp two of the medium flowers using Petal Pink and Darling Duckling on Very Vanilla. Use full strength Petal Pink for the detailed stamp, stamped off petal pink for the background stamp and Darling Duckling for the center. Cut out the flowers with the coordinating die. Adhere the leaf cluster to the card with glue dots and the flowers with dimensionals.

Use the light Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blend to color a length of Irregular Weave ribbon and tie a knot. Adhere it to the card with a glue dot, tucking it under the flowers. Stamp the Sentiment from the Words of beauty stamp set on Very Vanilla using Lost Lagoon ink and cut it out with the coordinating die. Adhere it to the card with glue dots and finish with Darling Duckling dots.

For the inside, stamp the flower from the Petals of Beauty stamp set using Petal Pink and Darling Duckling inks in the corner of a Very Vanilla panel. Trim the side with Stampin’ Up! Brushed With Beauty DSP and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Brushed with Beauty suite has lots of pretty flowers and leaves – I love the two step stamped flowers! And the word dies in the Words of Beauty bundle are great with three layers! I love that there are so many other sentiments and label dies that fit them perfectly. And the colors in the DSP are so soft and pretty.

This bundle is part of the new Brushed with Beauty suite collection which also includes the Petals of Beauty bundle and Brushed with Beauty designer series paper. Yay! Vellum is back! Emboss a vellum panel with the new Beautiful Pattern embossing folder and adhere it to the front of a Calypso Coral card base with Stampin’ Seal. Use the second and third largest Textured Notes rectangle dies to cut panels of the Brushed With Beauty designer series paper and adhere them to the card.

Cut a Mossy Meadow panel of Brushed With Beauty DSP with the large leaf sprig from the Petals of Beauty dies and adhere it to the card with glue dots. Stamp the ‘because‘ sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Words Of Beauty stamp set on Very Vanilla using Mossy Meadow ink. Cut it out with the wide label die and adhere it to the card using glue dots.

Stamp the large flower from the Petals of beauty using Calypso Coral ink. Use full strength ink for the detailed stamp and stamped off ink for the background stamp. Cut it out with the coordinating die. Stamp the center using Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the coordinating die and adhere it to the large flower. Adhere the flower to the card using dimensionals. Apply Adhesive sheets to the back of a Mossy Meadow panel and cut it out with the small ‘just‘ word die from the Stampin’ Up! Words of Beauty dies. Cut the middle size die from Very Vanilla and peel off the backing and adhere the Mossy Meadow word to the Very Vanilla word – Don’t forget the dot for the ‘j‘! Adhere the word to the card using bits of dimensional and glue dots and finish with a loopy Early Espresso bow and Calypso Coral dots.

For the inside panel, stamp the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Petals Of Beauty stamp set using Calypso Coral and Early Espresso inks on Very Vanilla. trim the bottom with DSP and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Words of Beauty bundle and the rest of the items in the Brushed With Beauty Suite Collection are a nice change from Holiday cards and them more I play with these products, the more I’m in love with them. The two step stamping florals are great and the sentiments are too – and so versatile. I wonder if I can incorporate the images into Christmas cards?

Stampin’ Up! Petals Of Beauty Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Here’s a sneak peek of a new bundle that is coming out next month – the Stampin’ Up! Petals Of Beauty bundle. This bundle is part of the new Brushed with Beauty Suite collection that will be available on November 4, 2025 when the next set of Online Exclusives is released. You can find the currently available card stock cuts along with supplies at the bottom of my post.

This is a simple fun fold where you take a top folding A2 card base (4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″) and cut the front in half and flip the bottom piece 90 degrees. So after scoring and burnishing the main card base, adhere pretty floral panels of the new Brushed With Beauty designer series paper (available Nov 4) to the front flap and inside back panel. Stamp the sentiment in the top right corner of a plain panel of the Brushed With Beauty DSP. I used the fun hello sentiment from the Branching Out stamp set in Calypso Coral ink. Adhere the stamped DSP to a Crumb Cake panel and adhere it to the front flap with liquid glue.

Cut a Mossy Meadow panel with with leaf sprig die from the new Stampin’ Up! Petals Of Beauty dies and adhere it to the card with glue dots. Stamp the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Petals of Beauty stamp set using Calypso Coral ink on Basic White. Stamp the detailed stamp first using full strength ink and then stamp the background stamp using stamped off ink. Cut the flower out with the coordinating die. Stamp the detailed medium flower using stamped off Petal Pink ink on Basic White. Color the inside using the light Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend and cut it out with the coordinating die.

Cut the large outline flower die from Calypso Coral card stock and the small outline flower die from Petal Pink card stock. Adhere the die cut outline flowers to the stamped flowers using glue dots. Adhere the layered flowers to the card using dimensionals and add Crumb Cake Pearls of Beauty dots (available Nov 4) to the flower centers. Use Linen Thread to make a quadruple loop bow and adhere it to the card with a glue dot, tucked under the small flower.

For the inside panel, stamp the background image of the small triple flower from the Stampin’ Up! Petals Of Beauty stamp set using stamped off Petal Pink ink on Basic White. Use the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend to color the centers and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Petals of Beauty bundle is a pretty floral set with two step stamping and dies to cut the stamped images and cardstock. Here is the stamp set and dies that are in the bundle. Note that these come in the new larger Stampin’ Up! packaging. Also, these new plastic packages will be available in packs of 10 for $16 on Nov 4!

And here is the beautiful Brushed with Beauty designer series paper that will also be available.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this little sneak peek of some of the new things that will be available in the next Online Exclusives release. Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!
