Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments Thankful For You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle is great for Fall cards and Thanksgiving. I used it with the Gathering Together designer series paper for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week:

Adhere a panel of Gathering Together specialty designer series paper to a Cajun Craze card base with liquid glue. Adhere another panel to an Early Espresso mat and adhere it to the card front with dimensionals. Cut another panel with the third largest Stylish Shapes circle die and adhere it to the card.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set on Basic Beige using Early Espresso ink. Cut it out with the small angled Traditional Labels dies and adhere it to the card with glue dots. Fold a length of irregular weave ribbon and adhere it to the card with glue dots.

Stamp the leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set twice using Cajun Craze ink on Basic White. Stamp the mushroom and two sets of berries using Early Espresso ink and cut it all out using the coordinating dies. Adhere the berries and leaves to the card with glue dots and the mushroom with dimensionals. Make an Early Espresso bow and adhere it with a glue dot and finish with Early Espresso dots.

For the inside, stamp the leaf and berries from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set using Cajun Craze and Early Espresso inks in the corner of a Basic White panel. Trim the bottom with DSP and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Fall foliage peaked this week by my house and driving around the countryside has been just beautiful. The Stampin’ Up! Gathering Together bundle captures the beauty of the season perfectly!!

Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the October Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Giving Thanks” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful dies with items from the Gathering Together Suite to make a Thanksgiving Day card.

Adhere a plaid panel of Gathering Together specialty designer series paper to the dark side of a two-tone Early Espresso mat and then to the front of a Cajun Craze card base. Emboss a Crushed Curry panel with the Gathering Leaves embossing folder and adhere it to the card with liquid glue.

Stamp the sentiment from the retired Iconic Imagery stamp set on the light side of a two-tone Cajun Craze panel using Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the large label die from the Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful dies. Adhere the panel to the card with liquid glue.

Use the Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful dies to cut a long leaf spring from Granny Apple Green, two berry sprigs from Cajun Craze, an oak leaf cluster from Crumb Cake, an acorn sprig from Pecan Pie and a flower from Crushed Curry. Arrange and adhere the leaves, berries and acorns to the card with glue dots.

Adhere the flower to the card with a dimensional. Tie a knot in a short length of irregular weave ribbon and adhere it to the card with a glue dot, tucking it under the flower. Finish the flower center with Cajun Craze dots.

For the inside, I simply trimmed a Basic White panel with DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card With Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful dies make pretty Fall floral arrangements for cards and other projects.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Pumpkins for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here is a simple Thanksgiving card made with the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Pumpkins bundle and the Gather Together specialty designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week:

Adhere a panel of Gather Together specialty designer series paper to the front of a Basic Beige card base with liquid glue.

Stamp the detailed large pumpkin from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Pumpkins stamp set using Basic Beige ink. Stamp the background image using stamped off ink on top of the detailed image. Cut out the pumpkin with the coordinating die. Cut a stem from Crumb Cake card stock using the large stem die and adhere it to the pumpkin. Adhere the pumpkin to the card with dimensionals.

Use the two vine and leaves dies from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Pumpkins dies to cut gold foil and adhere them to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. Stamp the first part of the sentiment using Versamark ink on Basic White. Sprinkle it with gold embossing powder and heat set. Cut out the label with the small banner from the Stylish Shapes dies. Adhere the label to the card with glue dots and dimensionals.

For the inside, stamp the small detailed pumpkin from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Pumpkins stamp set using Basic Beige ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. Stamp the background stamp using stamped off Basic Beige ink and the stem using Crumb Cake ink. Cut out a small leaf from gold foil and adhere it to the pumpkin and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Pumpkins bundle is a simple Fall set with pretty two-step stamping pumpkins, sentiments and great dies. In keeping with the CAS theme challenge, I didn’t use any embellishments or ribbon, and it really lets the gold foil shine!

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments Many Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Fall is here and I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle along with the Gather Together specialty designer series paper to make a Thanksgiving card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

Adhere a strip of Basic Beige Gather Together specialty designer series paper to the dark side of a two-tone Early Espresso mat and adhere it to a Cajun Craze panel of the DSP. Adhere it to another dark Early Espresso mat before adhering it to the front of a Cajun Craze card base. The two-tone card stock is a little thinner than regular card stock so you get the pretty effects of the layered card front without extra bulk, making it great for mailing.

Stamp the leaf and berry clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set using Early Espresso, Cajun Craze and Basic Beige inks and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped and cut two of each. I also used the Early Espresso watercolor pencil to draw the veins on the Basic Beige leaves to get more contrast. Adhere the leaves and berries together with liquid glue making little clusters and use glue dots to adhere the clusters to the card.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set on Basic Beige using Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the pretty Traditional Labels die. Adhere the label to the card with dimensionals and finish with a loopy Early Espresso linen thread bow and Cajun Craze dots.

For the inside, I kept it simple by adhering a strip of DSP to the side of a Basic White panel and adhered it to an Early Espresso two-tone mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle is a wonderful leaf set that is great for making Fall cards. And of course I love the Gather Together specialty DSP!

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle is a new Online Exclusives bundle with pretty Fall leaves and sentiments. I’ve mixed the new with the old by using it with the pretty Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for a ‘Gather’ card that would be great for Thanksgiving. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week and the colors in the Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP are great for Fall:

Adhere a panel of Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Mossy Meadow mat with liquid glue. Cut the large oak leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments die from a mottled yellow panel (I think this is actually the retired Wild Wheat colored panel, but it looks good with the current yellows too). Just use the outline die. Here’s the fun part (be brave) – crumple the die cut leaf in a ball. This gives it dimensional texture to add to the DSP color texture. Use a sponge dauber to distress the outside of the leaf with Pecan Pie ink.

Adhere the crumpled leaf to the DSP panel with liquid glue. Wrap Old Olive linen thread around the panel three times and make a loopy bow. Adhere the panel to the front of a Pretty Peacock card base with dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set on a mottled panel of Thoughtful Journey 6″ x 6″ DSP using Versamark ink. Sprinkle with white embossing powder and heat set. Punch it out with the Labeled with Love punch and punch out a backing from Mossy Meadow. Adhere the label to the backing with liquid glue and pop it on the card with dimensionals. Finish with Daffodil Delight dots.

For the inside, stamp the large leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set in the corner of the last Basic White panel using Crushed Curry ink. Trim the bottom with DSP and adhere the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The large leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle are really impressive and fun to use. The crumpled, mottled die cut leaf reminds me of dried up leaves that have fallen and are ready to be raked up. I can hear the leaves crunch already!

Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments Thankful Card

Good Morning! Here’s another sneak peek of the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle from this week’s Online Exclusives release that will be available on Wednesday, September 3. And I’ve used it along with more of the pretty Gather Together specialty designer series paper. You can find the card stock cuts along with the currently available supplies at the bottom of my post.

Adhere the Cajun Craze panel of Gather Together specialty DSP to the bottom of a Crushed Curry mat and adhere the leafy pattern to the top of the panel. Wrap the seam with the cute Irregular Weave ribbon (available Sept 3) and secure it in the back. Pop the Panel on an Old Olive card base with dimensionals.

Use the Textured Notes rectangle die to cut a Cajun Craze panel. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle using Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel and adhere it to the die cut rectangle. Adhere the panel to the card with dimensionals.

Stamp the leaves and acorn from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set using Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Early Espresso inks. Cut them out with the coordinating dies and adhere the leaves to the card with glue dots. Make a loopy bow using Early Espresso linen thread (available Sept 3) and adhere it to the back of the acorn with a glue dot. Adhere the acorn to the card with dimensionals and finish with Cajun Craze dots (available Sept 3)

For the inside panel, stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments stamp set using Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel. Stamp the leaf underneath in Cajun Craze and trim the bottom with DSP. Adhere the panel to a Crushed Curry mat before adhering to the inside of the card.

Here is the Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle. I love the pretty sentiments and the color variation you can get with Distinktive stamps.

And here’s the beautiful Gathering Together specialty DSP.

The Stampin’ Up! Gathering Moments bundle is part of the upcoming Gathering Together Suite that will be available on Sept 3 and I love how the stamps go so well with the pretty Fall DSP. The fun new ribbon gives a nice contrast to the border details on the Textured Notes die cut rectangle and nicely frames the die cut leaves and stamped sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Encircled In Nature for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature bundle to make a Thanksgiving card for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week and my Thanksgiving card fits with the theme. Yay!

I stamped the twig wreath from the Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature stamp set on a Basic Beige panel and cut the inside out with the coordinating die. I embossed the panel with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder. I used Blending Brushes to color a sky on the Basic White panel using Pool Party and Balmy Blue inks. I blended some Lost Lagoon ink at the bottom and stamped the Trees using Pretty Peacock ink.

I adhered the stamped panel to the back of the embossed panel using liquid glue in the corners and then adhered the layered panel to the front of a Pecan Pie card base. I cut the berry wreath using the large die from the Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature dies from Cajun Craze and adhered it around the circle glue dots. I cut the two sets of tree line dies from Pretty Peacock and adhered them to the bottom of the circle with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink on Basic Beige. I used the ‘Happy‘ from the Labeled with Love stamp set and the ‘Thanksgiving‘ from the Choose Happy stamp set. I was surprised and pleased that the fonts work together as well as they do and I was glad to have a greeting small enough to work with the card. I finished the front with Basic Beige shimmer gems and a Copper Clay linen thread bow.

For the inside panel, I stamped the large evergreen from the Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Nature stamp set using Pretty Peacock ink on Basic Beige. I stamped the sentiment from the Iconic Imagery stamp set using Pecan Pie ink next to the tree and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving, surrounded by loved ones!

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the October Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Giving Thanks” and I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies with the Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper for my card today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I embossed a Crushed Curry panel with the pretty Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Crushed Curry card base with liquid glue. I adhered a strip of Oxidized Copper specialty paper to the front.

I adhered a Fall treetop panel of Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Copper Clay mat and popped it onto the front of the card with dimensionals.

I used the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves dies to cut a small Lemon Lolly maple leaf and two small copper clay leaves. I adhered the leaves to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set using Copper Clay ink on Old Olive card stock and cut it out with the label die. I made a loopy bow with Copper Clay linen thread and adhered it to the back of the label and popped the label onto the card with dimensionals. I finished with a Copper Clay dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the maple leaf veins from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set in Lemon Lolly ink on a Basic White panel. I used stamped off Lemon Lolly ink to stamp the leaf over it to reflect a single leaf from the trees on the card front. I adhered a strip of Oxidized Copper specialty paper to the left side and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The wonderful Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves stamp set and dies are perfect for making Thanksgiving and other Fall themed cards with the different leaf images, dies and sentiments. And it goes great with the pretty Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper.

Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions Interactive Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions bundle is unique Fall themed bundle with gorgeous sentiments and a fun double frame die. I paired it with the pretty Splendid Autumn 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to make an interactive card where the pretty double frame opens to show a sentiment inside. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a Cherry Cobbler panel ofSplendid Autumn DSP with the pretty Leaf Fall 3D embossing folder. I had problems with the DSP tearing and it didn’t look as good with the dark color, so I re-did it, using shims rather than the proper cutting sandwich so the pressure is less. I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Pebbled Path card base with liquid glue.

I cut a copper textured foil panel with the frame, clasp and chain dies from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions dies. I picked out a small landscape from the Splendid Autumn DSP and cut it out with the large opening in the Frame die. I carefully applied liquid glue around the edge and adhered it to the small opening side of the copper foil frame. I burnished the folds of the frame and adhered the clasp on the large side and the chain on top using liquid glue. Note that I adhered the clasp facing down, so that it will hold the frame closed. I adhered the frame to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions stamp set using Pebbled Path ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the large opening in the frame die and adhered it to the card (inside of the frame) with glue dots. I closed the frame by tucking the front flap under the clasp and finished the card with bronze sequins and a Wild Wheat bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the wood from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions stamp set using stamped off Pebbled Path ink on Basic White. I cut a Cherry Cobbler leaf and adhered it to the panel and trimmed the bottom with DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The double frame die from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Expressions is so unique and versatile! I’ve used the inside as a label die and seen the frame used for sentiments as well as a frame. I’ve also seen it used with the chain as the sides of a fancy treat box or mini purse. Today’s card is simple by comparison, but I used foil, and anything with foil is fabulous!
