Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I made a hello card with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle and the beautiful Favored Flowers Sale-A-Bration designer series paper. I used the Fresh Freesia flowers and pulled out the beautiful Fresh Freesia shimmer paper for the background! You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge in the Blog Hop and here is the pretty card sketch we are using this week:

I embossed a panel of the Fresh Freesia shimmer paper with the Pretty Flowers embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base. I cut a panel of the geometric Fresh Freesia Favored Flowers designer series paper with the third largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the card front.

I used the fourth largest Stitched rectangle die and cut a panel of the DSP with Fresh Freesia Flowers and adhered it with liquid glue. I used my Stamparatus to stamp the ‘hello‘ from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers cling stamp set several times in Blackberry Bliss ink on the right side of a Fresh Freesia panel. I cut it out with the second smallest long Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the card with liquid glue.

I cut two Fresh Freesia flowers with the small flower die from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers dies and adhered one of them to the card front with dimensionals (save the second one for the inside of the card). I finished the card front with silver pearls.

For the inside of the card, I adhered the second die cut flower to the bottom of a Basic white panel with liquid glue. I trimmed the excess and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set comes in cling and photopolymer. I love that you get to choose! I choose cling since I won’t need to do two-step stamping with this set. I love that the dies also cut out some of the pretty flowers in the Favored Flowers Sale-A-Bration DSP. This pretty pack of paper is free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration.
