Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s another Valentine’s Day card made with the sweet sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set and pretty dies from the Darling Details and Give It A Whirl die sets. And I used a simple heart pattern paper from the Sale-A-Bration Most Adored specialty designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week, which is perfect with Valentine’s Day just around the corner!

I used the small eyelet frame from the Darling Details dies to cut a Basic White panel and adhered the frame to a heart filled panel of the Most Adored Sale-A-Bration specialty DSP. I adhered the panel to the front of a Real Red card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the love you sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in real Red ink on Basic White. I used the large window heart die from the Give It A Whirl die set to cut the sentiment out and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. The Give It A Whirl die set has great dies for making spinner cards and so many other dies that are great for decorating such as these hearts (There are also great cloud and star dies in the set!).

I used the Give It A Whirl heart dies to cut several hearts from Basic White and Real Red card stock. I layered some of the hearts and arranged them in the center of the eyelet window, adhering them with dimensionals. I adhered a Real Red bow to the frame with a glue dot and added rhinestone gems to the hearts.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White. I adhered more hearts to the panel and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Most Adored specialty DSP. I adhered the layered panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Bee My Valentine stamp set are perfect for Valentine’s Day and don’t always need to be used with the bees (although they are so cute). Red and White hearts with lace – classics for Valentine’s Day cards!
