Stampin’ Up! Ringed with Nature Hello Card

Good Morning! Here’s a Hello card made with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Ringed with Nature photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing folder (with dies). I paired them with the One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and did some watercoloring on the die cut greenery! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

My card design was inspired by the current pretty sketch in Sunday Sketches – SSC318 – A Banner of a Sketch.

I adhered a panel of wood grain One Horse Open Sleigh 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Pebbled Path card base with liquid glue. I used my paper snips to cut the bottom of two more strips of DSP and adhered them to the card with liquid glue.

I cut all the greenery from the Tree Rings dies (plus an extra set of berries) from Basic White and colored them with inks using my water painter. I colored the stems Pecan Pie, the leaves Lost Lagoon and Mossy Meadow and the berries Real Red. The pieces are small so I didn’t use too much water and I worked quickly. I love how they turned out! I arranged the greenery on the card front and adhered them with glue dots.

I stamped the house from the Stampin’ Up! Ringed with Nature photopolymer stamp set in Crumb Cake and Real Red and fussy cut it with my paper snips. I cut and embossed the tree ring using the embossing folder, die and Crumb Cake card stock. I used a sponge dauber to apply Early Espresso ink around the edges and adhered the house to the top with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in Pebbled Path ink and cut it out with the smallest banner from the Nested Essentials dies. I adhered the label to the tree ring with glue dots and popped the tree ring on the card with dimensionals. I finished the card front with a Pebbled Path bow and Rustic dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the acorns from the Stampin’ Up! Ringed with Nature stamp set in stamped off Pecan Pie ink and stamped the tops in full strength Pecan Pie. I love how these can be mushroom tops if you turn them upside down! I adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love how the greenery came out using the watercolor technique and it was so fun and pretty easy too! And aren’t the Hybrid Embossing Folders amazing!
