Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees Christmas Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! One of favorites from the retiring September-December 2024 Mini Catalog is the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees bundle. The die cut overlays for the trees are just beautiful and I’ve made today’s card with Very Vanilla and gold for a simple and elegant Christmas card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I embossed a Very Vanilla panel with the pretty Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Very Vanilla card base with liquid glue. I also embossed a strip of gold foil with the same folder, using the bottom where the snowflakes are dense. I adhered the embossed Gold Foil strip to the card with glue dots.

I I used the plain tree die from the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees dies to cut two panels from the Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper. I adhered the trees to the card with glue dots.

I cut another tree from Very Vanilla card stock. I cut the snowflake overlay from the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees dies from Gold Foil (after applying adhesive sheets to the back). I peeled off the adhesive sheet backing and adhered the snowflake overlay to the Very Vanilla tree and popped the tree on the card with dimensionals.

For the inside panel, I stamped sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Versamark ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I sprinkled it with gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I adhered the panel to a DSP mat and adhered the layered panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The trees in the Stampin’ Up! Decorative Trees bundle are beautiful dressed up with gold foil or simply stamped on a rustic Christmas card. These are one of my all time Christmas favorites!

Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis Christmas Card

Good Morning! It’s late, but I finally made a Christmas card with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis bundle. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

I adhered a Real Red panel of Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic White mat and then to a Garden Green Take A Bow panel. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I used the Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis dies to cut the flowers, stems and centers from Real Red, Garden Green and Basic Beige card stock.

Each flower in the Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis dies are made with two die cuts. I used a sponge dauber to apply Real Red ink to the flower centers and and bottoms before adhering the petal clusters together with liquid glue. I adhered the centers with liquid glue and used liquid glue to adhere the leaves and little thingy to the stem. I adhered the stem and leaves to the card with glue dots and adhered the buds to the top of the stem with glue dots. I popped the two large flowers on the stems with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on Basic White. I cut the sentiments out with the long label die from the Autumn Leaves dies and adhered the label to the card with dimensionals. I finished the large flower centers with clear dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to a Garden Green mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Artful Amaryllis dies make beautiful amaryllis flowers! I love these flowers during Christmastime – they’re so big and beautiful and brighten up the room! It’s late, but I’m glad I finally used them for a Christmas card. They’re on the Last Chance list, so get them before they’re gone.

Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive with Greetings of the Season Christmas Card and Tags

Good Morning! Here’s a late post with a card and some pretty tags made with the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty designer series paper and the Greetings of the Season bundle.

Here’s a close up of the card using the pretty Christmas Tree from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty DSP. I adhered it to a 3-5/8″ x 5-1/8″ gold foil mat before adhering it to the front of a Real Red 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ CARD BASE (scored at 4-1/4″). So simple, yet beautiful, especially with the gold foil touches on the tree.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on a 3-3/4″ x 5″ Basic White panel and adhered a Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP swag at the bottom.

I really went to town using the die cut tags from the Greetings of the Season! My thought was to layer the tags, pop the A Little Bit Festive cut outs using dimensionals and stamp the greetings using Real Red ink. I also used some retired ruffled Real Red ribbon, Gold Thread and Real Red Baker’s twine. For some of the tags, I loosely tied the loops so that the tags can be separated and swing loosely.

Here are the last two tags. The DSP patterns from the A Little Bit Festive pack layer nicely with Real Red, Pool Party and Basic White card stock. I love the long strip die cuts from the Greetings of the season dies

Just a quick post to show some pretty ideas for Christmas Tags. I don’t have card stock cuts, but I did include some product links at the bottom.

Oh, and I did hang the Rustic Christmas Countdown packets on my window! I made this last year and it ‘s still in pretty good shape! I’m getting ready for Christmas!!

Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery Christmas Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery bundle and the Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper make the most elegant Christmas cards! I’ve made several Christmas cards with these items along with the beautiful Greetings of the Season sentiments and I love them all. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a gorgeous greenery panel from the Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper to the front of a Very Vanilla card base. I adhered another panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I used the pine outline die from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery dies to cut pine sprigs from the Graceful Greenery vellum and adhered them to the card with glue dots. I cut a greenery sprig from the Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper with the coordinating die and adhered it to the card with glue dots. The dies from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery bundle can cut some of the images from both of these DSP packs – I love it!

I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Versamark ink on Old Olive card stock. I sprinkled it with Gold embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut it out with the Labeled with Love die and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with gold faceted gems and a gold thread bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf sprig with the stem from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery stamp set using Old Olive ink and the berries in Wild Wheat. For both of these, I used full strength ink on one stamp and stamped off ink on the second stamp. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I wasn’t sure about mixing Very Vanilla and Basic White, but it’s done in the DSP and so I went ahead and tried it for my inside panel. What do you think?

Another elegant Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery bundle and Season of Green and Gold DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled Wreath Christmas Card

Good Saturday Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled bundle is a wonderful bundle for making Christmas cards and other projects wonderful sleds, skates and Christmas greenery to go with the pretty sentiments. I used the wreath for today’s Christmas card, pairing it with the festive Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

The wreath is kind of small, so I decided to make the front flap shorter than the back, and use pretty DSP to show through. So I cut, scored and burnished my card base so that the fold is on the side and the front is 1″ shorter that the back. I adhered Real Red mats to the card front and inside panel and adhered the panels of Take A Bow 6″ x 6″ DSP to the mats.

I stamped the wreath from the Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled stamp set using Mossy Meadow ink on Basic White and colored it with light Cherry Cobbler, light Lost Lagoon, light Granny Apple Green and dark Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with the coordinating die – it is such a pretty wreath! I cut a Basic White panel with the Stylish Shapes square and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue and popped the wreath on top with dimensionals. I colored a length of gingham ribbon with the dark Real Red Stampin’ Blend and made a bow. I adhered the bow to the top of the wreath with a glue dot.

I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Versamark ink on Real Red card stock. I sprinkled them with white embossing powder and shook off the excess powder. I heated them with my heat tool until they were bright and shiny and then cut them out with the small banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I used the two step method on both sentiments, making the ‘Merry‘ shorter and the “Christmas‘ longer. I adhered the labels to the card with dimensionals and finished the card with sparkle gems.

For the inside panel, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled stamp set using Real Red ink on Basic White. I stamped the little cardinal from the stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White and colored it with Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with the coordinating die and adhered it next to the sentiment with a glue dot. I adhered the panel to the left side of the Real Red mat on the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The wreath in the Stampin’ Up! Sophisticated Sled bundle is small, but it’s so, so pretty and I love wreath Christmas cards. All the winter fun elements make the bundle really versatile, and I can’t wait to play with it again!

Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery Seasons Greetings Card

Good Morning! Here’s another Christmas card made with the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery stamp set and other items from the Online Exclusive Season of Green and Gold Suite. Today, I stamped the holiday foliage in Old Olive and Garden Green and didn’t do any die cutting! You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Season of Green and Gold specialty DSP to a Mossy Meadow mat and adhered it to the front of a Very Vanilla card base. I adhered a strip of Season of Green and Gold DSP with Gold foil diamonds on the left side with Stampin’ Seal.

I used the pine and oval leaf cluster stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery stamp set to stamp the greenery on the left side and the bottom of the Very Vanilla art panel. These are two step stamps and I used Garden Green for the pine and Old Olive for the oval leaf clusters. For the pine, I stamped the detailed stamp first full strength and stamped off the fuller background stamp on top. For the oval leaf clusters, I stamped the lower part of the leaf clusters full strength first and then stamped off the leaf tops and stamped them second.

I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Versamark ink and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder. I shook off the excess and heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished the card with Cherry Cobbler dots and a gold bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped some greenery in the lower right corner using the same techniques as the card front. I adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow mat before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Golden Greenery stamp set has beautiful greenery and bell stamps that are perfect for Christmas cards. And there are dies that coordinate with bundle pricing (10% discount).

Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season with Winter Meadow Christmas Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set is a set of beautiful sentiments for making Holiday Cards that was released as an Online Exclusive last month, and it is my go to stamp set for Christmas card sentiments. Today I paired it with the beautiful returning Winter Meadow designer series paper for a simple Christmas card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered a panel of Winter Meadow DSP to a silver foil mat and wrapped it with silver ribbon, making a bow on the side. I popped it to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set in Versamark ink on a Basic White panel. Since there were two sentiments and I had trouble seeing the Versamark ink, I first stamped the ‘Merry’ and sprinkled it with silver embossing powder and then the ‘Christmas’ underneath. I sprinkled the embossing powder again and shook off all the excess. I heated the sentiments with my heat tool and cut it out with the small diamond from the Wildflower Designs dies.

I adhered the label to the card with dimensionals and finished with silver faceted gems.

For the inside of the card I stamped the the pine boughs from the Golden Greenery stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink in the top corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the filler stamp in twice stamped off ink and then the detailed stamp in stamped off ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set in Garden Green ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

A beautiful sentiment on pretty holiday designer series paper makes for a quick Christmas card and the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings stamp set is perfect for pretty sentiments. And the beautiful Winter Meadow DSP is 15% off beginning today!

Stampin’ Up! Nests Of Winter for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the pretty new Stampin’ Up! Nests of Winter designer series paper to make a Christmas card. This paper will be available with the new September-December Mini Catalog on Sept 4, 2024. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:

I adhered a panel of Stampin’ Up! Nests of Winter designer series paper to a Pebbled Path mat with liquid glue and wrapped it with Garden Green Linen Thread (available Sept 4, 2024), making a bow. I adhered it to the front of a Real Red card base with dimensionals.

I used the dies from the Winterly Tree Tops dies to cut four pine sprigs and adhered them to the card with glue dots, tucking them under the Linen Thread. I fussy cut a little greenery sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Nests of Winter DSP and adhered to the card with glue dots. I fussy cut a little bird and popped it over the greenery with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on Gray Granite card stock. I cut it out with the short fat Stylish Shapes banner die, using a two step method – note that I cut it with the left side straight. I adhered it to the card with glue dots and finished the card with red gems.

For the Inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I fussy cut another greenery sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Nests of Winter DSP and adhered it to the panel with liquid glue. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The pretty Stampin’ Up! Nests of Winter designer series paper has designs that are great for Christmas cards, but also for Fall and Winter in general. Here’s the DSP:

And here is the pretty Winterly Tree Tops bundle that goes so well with the DSP. Some of the dies will even cut out images in the paper.

All of these new products will be available when the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog is released on Sept 4, 2024.

Stampin’ Up! Greetings Of The Season Christmas Card II

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season bundle is part this month’s Online Exclusives release and includes pretty sentiments for Christmas cards and tags and wonderful tag dies. I wanted to show off the sentiments with the pretty Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper and introduce touches of Real Red. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I adhered panels of Season of Green and Gold specialty DSP to a Basic Black mat and adhered it to the front of a Real Red card base with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings Of The Season stamp set in Real Red ink on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the fancy label die (the tag hole is on the left side). I adhered the label to the card with liquid glue.

I cut the two pine boughs from the Golden Greenery dies from Mossy Meadow and adhered them to the card with glue dots. I used the Golden Greenery die to cut a greenery sprig from the Season of Green and Gold specialty DSP and adhered it over the pine boughs with glue dots.

I made a bow with gingham ribbon and adhered it over the greenery with a glue dot and finished the card with red dots.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings Of The Season stamp set using Real Red ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I die cut another greenery sprig and adhered it to the top corner. I trimmed the bottom of the panel with DSP and adhered the it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Greetings Of The Season bundle has many different sentiments in different fonts that can be combined to make different Christmas greetings.

Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season Christmas Card

Good Morning! Did you know that there is a new release of Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive products today? There is and it’s a great opportunity to get a head start on Holiday crafting. One of the pretty products is the Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season bundle. I’ve paired it with the beautiful Season of Green and Gold specialty designer series paper to make a tag Christmas card. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

I embossed a panel of Garden Green with the elegant Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Garden Green card base with liquid glue. I cut a panel of Season of Gold and Green specialty DSP with the large tag die from the Greetings Of The Season dies.

I used the Golden Greenery dies to cut out pine sprigs and greenery boughs from a panel of Season of Green and Gold DSP. I also cut some of the edge partial images and adhered them to the back of the greenery to make the boughs look fuller. I adhered the greenery to the die cut tag with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set in Versamark ink and sprinkled them with gold embossing powder. Since I used two stamps and I had a hard time seeing the stamped image, I went ahead and sprinkled it with the embossing powder. I shook off the excess powder and easily lined up and stamped the second sentiment under it. I sprinkled more embossing powder and shook off the excess and heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny.

Then I used a two step method to cut it out with the banner tag die, so it’s a little shorter than the whole die. I adhered the label to the tag with dimensionals and a glue dot at the top and decorated the tag with a gold bow and iridescent foil gems. I adhered the tag to the card with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season stamp set in Garden Green ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and a adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

If you’re like me and have a bunch of Christmas cards to make, it’s good to get an early start. So Yay for the new Online Exclusives release! The sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Greetings of the Season bundle are so beautiful and I love that you have inside greetings for your Christmas cards. And the dies are all tags, and so many different shapes, so you will be able to create beautiful gift tags and easily disguise the string holes for your sentiment labels.
