Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes bundle along with the Floral Delight designer series paper to make a Z-Fold birthday card for today’s hop. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun sketch challenge this week and it was fun to turn it into a Z-Fold card:

I started out by adhering all the panels of Floral Delight designer series paper to the sections of the card base and Z-Fold mechanism using liquid glue. Then I adhered the Z-Fold mechanism to the main card base using liquid glue. I started with the inside or back panel by centering and adhering the folded Z-fold mechanism to the panel and then opening it and adhering the front.

I used the large circle die from the Spotlight on Nature die to cut a basic white panel and used a blending brush to apply pool party ink. I cut the branch from the Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes dies using Pecan Pie card stock. I cut two of the layered medium flowers from Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight and Pecan Pie and adhered them together. I stamped the sentiments using Old Olive ink on Basic White and Daffodil Delight and cut them out with the dies.

With the sentiments, stem and flowers, I was able to arrange things on the die cut circle and began adhering them. I adhered the stem with liquid glue and trimmed it at the circle edge. I adhered the ‘wishing’ sentiment with glue dots and the label sentiment under it with glue dots. Then I adhered the die cut circle to the card base with liquid glue, being careful to apply it to the left half of the circle and using a glue dot behind the ‘w’ in the sentiment.

I stamped four leaf clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes stamp set using Old Olive ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating die. I adhered them to the card with glue dots and finished with a Daffodil Delight bow and antique pearls.

For the inside panel, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes stamp set using Daffodil Delight ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the detailed stamp and used stamped off ink for the background. I adhered DSP to the right side and adhered the panel to the inside part of the Z-Fold mechanism with liquid glue. And I added a final pearl to the DSP.

The Stampin’ Up! Delightful Wishes bundle is definitely a favorite! The label word stamps and dies are wonderful and the die cut flowers are beautiful.
