Good Morning! I was feeling very geometric, so I pulled out the Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and paired it with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom bundle to make a quick Thank You card. You can find the card stock cuts along with the supplies at the bottom of my post.
Adhere a panel of the striped Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ DSP to a Cajun Craze mat and adhered the layered DSP to a Thick Basic White card base. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom stamp set on the card front using Secret Sea ink.
Cut five flowers using the small flower die (use both dies) from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom dies from Cloud Cover card stock. Adhere the flowers to the DSP in a line with glue dots. Add large Darling Duckling Dots to the center of each flower. Wrap Darling Duckling ribbon around the card front and tie a knot. That’s it!
For the inside panel, adhere DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhere it to a Cajun Craze mat. Adhere the layered panel to the inside of the card with liquid glue.
The geometric look is not for everyone, but it is dramatic. The simple die cut flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom dies have enough personality to keep it from being too simplistic and boring. What do you think?
Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy Stamping!!

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Have you seen the fun new Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes bundle from the new Annual Catalog? This set has wonderful sentiments, bold sun and moon stamps and fun, unique rainbow dies that coordinate with the bold Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.
We have a pretty sketch challenge this week:
I adhered a colorful rainbow pattern of Boho Vibes 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Cloud Cover card base with liquid glue. I love the non traditional rainbow colors and graphic designs in this DSP pack! I stamped the little sun from the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes stamp set using Versamark ink in the corners of a Petal Pink panel of the DSP and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I shook off the excess powder and heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I stamped the leaf sprig using Secret Sea ink between the sun bursts and cut it out with the 4th largest Textured Notes rectangle die.
I adhered the die cut rectangle to a Secret Sea mat with liquid glue. I used the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes dies to cut the little rainbow from Darling Duckling, leaf sprigs from Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow and the hearts from Cloud Cover. I adhered the die cuts to the panel with dots of liquid glue and wrapped a length of Night of Navy Linen Thread (from the Natural Tones Linen Thread on Last Chance list) around the panel and tied a bow.
I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin Up! Sunshine Vibes stamp set using Secret Sea ink on Basic White and cut it out with the long Textured Notes die. I adhered the label to the die cut panel with dimensionals and adhered the panel to the card with dimensionals. I finished with three Darling Duckling dots.
For the inside of the card I stamped the leaf cluster from the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes stamp set using Secret Sea ink on Basic White. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered three more die cut Cloud Cover hearts. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.
I love that I was able to use embossing, stamping and die cutting to create the little scene on the designer series paper – it was fun to combine all these techniques. I was inspired by the cute tags on pg 61 of the new Annual Catalog and I’m glad that my adaptation still works on the rectangle die cut. The decorated edges of the Textured Notes dies goes perfectly with the modern graphics in the DSP. I hope I’ve inspired you to check out the Stampin’ Up! Sunshine Vibes bundle!
