Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I have another Christmas card today made with the fun Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings stamp set and the cute Sweet Stockings designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a fun theme challenge this week with critters so I felt compelled to use these mischievous little scamps!

I adhered the three Cherry Cobbler strips of Sweet Stockings designer series paper to the front of a Pool Party card base with Stampin’ Seal and I adhered the Christmas Tree lights DSP on top. I fussy cut the silly dog and adhered it to the bottom corner of the Christmas lights panel.

I stamped the Santa hat and kitty from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I cut them out with the coordinating dies and colored them with the Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. I cut a medium stocking from the Sweet Stockings DSP with the Stockings die and adhered it to the panel with glue dots and popped the kitty on top with dimensionals. I adhered the Santa hat on the dog with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on a Pool Party panel and cut it out with the second smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I adhered it to the top of the Christmas light panel with glue dots and finished the front with three Bumblebee dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Cherry Cobbler and Memento Tuxedo Black inks on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom of the panel with more Christmas lights from the Sweet Stockings DSP and adhered another die cut stocking on top. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The little critters from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings bundle and Sweet Stockings designer series paper just make you shake your head and smile. They’re so much fun and the colors are beautiful – they make the perfect pet themed Christmas card!
