Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments Christmas Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments stamp bundle is really cute and versatile and I finally got it and used it for today’s Christmas card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of an Evening Evergreen card base. I cut a panel of Basic White with the detailed greenery frame die from the Merriest Frames Hybrid die. I carefully placed it in the Merriest Frames Hybrid embossing folder and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine to get the wonderful leafy texture. I adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments photopolymer stamp set in Cherry Cobbler on a Basic White panel. I stamped the spatter in Bumblebee ink along the bottom and out it out with the label die. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the two flower stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on Basic White and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped four of the leaves in Soft Succulent ink and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I adhered the flowers together with liquid glue and popped them onto the card front with dimensionals. I adhered the leaves with glue dots, tucking them under the flower. I made a bow and adhered it with a glue dot and finished the flower center with three small gilded gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments stamp set in Cherry Cobbler. I stamped the corners with Cherry Cobbler flowers and Soft Succulent leaves and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments bundle is fantastic for elegant Christmas cards. the Hybrid embossing folder is great for both cutting and embossing at the same time, or embossing separately. This makes it so versatile in making different styles of cards and each one is really special!

Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia Christmas To Remember Card

Happy Saturday! I pulled out the pretty Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia dies along with the Stampin’ Up! Christmas To Remember cling stamp set to make today’s Christmas card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Today’s card was inspired by a couple of challenges and was a lot of fun! First is the pretty sketch challenge in Hand Stamped Sentiments #374:

But I was also intrigued by the wonderful color challenge in the Global Design Project #313:

I adhered a panel of Sahara Sand Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic Black mat. I adhered another strip of the same DSP to another mat and adhered them both to a panel of black and white gingham Pattern Party Host designer series paper. I adhered the layered panel to the larger Sahara Sand DSP panel and popped it on the front of a Real Red card base.

I die cut another Real Red panel with the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia dies – the largest petal cluster, the medium cluster and the tiny petal cluster. I used the embossing petal die inserts to give the flower texture when die cutting. I adhered the petal clusters together with glue dots. I cut one of each of the poinsettia leaves with the leaf dies and their embossing insets and adhered the leaves to the back of the flower with glue dots. I adhered the flower to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas To Remember stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic white and cut it out with the label from the Seasonal Labels dies. I adhered it to the card front, overlapping the flower with dimensionals and glue dots. I added Bumblebee matte dots to the flower center, black dots to the card front and a bow made from black and white gingham to finish the card front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Christmas To Remember stamp set in Real Red on a Basic White panel. I stamped a leaf sprig from the Tidings and Trimmings photopolymer stamp set in Mossy Meadow under the sentiment and adhered a strip of Tidings of Christmas DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the panel to a Basic Black mat and then to the inside of the card.

I love the rustic feel that the Sahara Sand and black and white gingham give this card! Reminds me of handmade Christmas ornaments and popcorn garland on a Christmas tree. And I love the flowers that the Stampin’ Up! Poinsettia dies make – they are the best ever!! But let’s have fun with Halloween first!

Stampin’ Up! Love Of Leaves Fall Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Yesterday afternoon I pulled out the pretty Stampin’ Up! Love Of Leaves photopolymer stamp set and the beautiful Stitched Leaves dies to make a pair of fall cards. The Stitched leaves dies have pretty stitching on the outside of the die so you can create a pretty stitched leaf and an outline for the leaves with a pretty stitched edge. So I used the dies to make two cards from one cut. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the cards:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

For the first card, I embossed a panel of Cinnamon Cider with the Timber 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Cinnamon Cider card base. I cut a panel of Beauty of the Earth designer series paper with the third largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. I cut the large leaf from the Stitched leaves dies with the inset from a Cajun Craze panel and used the outside frame for this card. I wrapped it with Linen Thread and made a bow and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I finished it off with a label stamped with the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Love of Leaves stamp set stamped in Misty Moonlight on Cinnamon Cider. I cut it out with the small, long stitched rectangle die using the two step method and adhered it to the card front.

For the second card, I embossed a Soft Suede panel with the Bard 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Soft Suede card base. I cut panels of Beauty of the Earth DSP and Bumblebee DSP with the fourth largest Stitched Rectangle die and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue. I cut out the long leaf from the Stitched Leaves dies in Mossy Meadow and the small leaf from Cork paper using the dies with their insets. I adhered these leaves with the Cajun Craze leaf from the first card to the card front.

I finished off the card with a label stamped with the sentiment from the In Bloom photopolymer stamp set stamped in Soft Suede on Cinnamon Cider and cut out with the Stitched Rectangles die. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals. I finished off both card fronts with Brushed Metallic Dots.

For the inside of the cards, I inked up the large leaf stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Love Of Leaves stamp set with Cajun Craze ink and stamped off twice. Then I stamped the leaf in the middle of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of Beauty of the Earth DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card. I made the insides of both cards the same, but you could easily add inside sentiments that go with the occasion – or not.

The outside die stitching makes the Stitched Leaves dies very special because you don’t always get the nice decorative edging. This makes it easy to creatively use negative space in card making – you could even use it for a shaker card! The coordinating Stampin’ Up! Love Of Leaves stamp set has stamps for pretty shaded leaves and wonderful sentiments. We’re so lucky to have so many options for beautiful Fall stamp sets right now! I can’t decide on which I love best!

Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance Christmas Card II Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I am sharing the card that I made yesterday afternoon during my Facebook Live. I used the pretty Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance cling stamp set to make another Christmas Tree Christmas card. This is very similar to the one from yesterday’s post, but I wanted to use the pretty ‘Merry Christmas’ sentiment from the stamp set on the card front. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance stamp set in Versamark ink on the bottom of a panel of a Soft Succulent Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heat set the embossing powder until it was shiny. This way I used the festive sentiment on the card front!

I cut a Basic White panel with the long fancy die from the Ornate layers dies and adhered a strip of Sahara Sand starry Trimmings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP to the front. I adhered the strip to the Soft Succulent DSP and adhered it all to a Basic White mat. I wrapped a double length of linen thread around the panel and tied a bow and adhered it to the front of a Soft Succulent card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the tall tree from the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance stamp set in Soft Succulent on a Basic White panel and stamped the large star on top of the tree in Sahara Sand. I adhered the panel to a Sahara Sand mat and adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals. I trimmed the tree with small white pearls and added a large pearl to the center of the star.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Evening Elegance stamp set in Sahara Sand on a Basic White panel. I stamped the pine boughs in the upper corner and added a strip of Trimmings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to a Sahara Sand mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

I wasn’t sure if this color palette was going to be festive enough without red, but I do like the soft, rustic look. The stamped trees from the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance stamp set are really pretty, and they are great to play with different colors and layering techniques. I really love the sentiments too! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!!

Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance Christmas Card I

Earlier this month I did a post with the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance bundle with pretty cards designed by the Stampin’ Up! Design team. I finally got my hands on this pretty stamp set and made a couple of layered Christmas cards with them, pairing them with the pretty Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. Here is the first card and I will show you how to make the second card during my Facebook Live this afternoon at 1:00 ET. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I die cut a strip of Real Red with the long fancy frame from the Ornate Layers dies and adhered a strip of Evening Evergreen Tidings of Christmas 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the top. I adhered this layered panel to a Basic White Tidings of Christmas DSP panel and adhered it to an Evening Evergreen mat. I wrapped the layered DSP panel with a length of real red ribbon, securing it in the back and adhered the panel to the front of a Real Red card base with Dimensionals.

I stamped the tall tree from the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance cling stamp set in Evening Evergreen on a Basic White panel. I stamped the large star on top of the tree with Crushed Curry ink and adhered the panel to an Evening Evergreen mat. I stamped the sentiment from the Penguin Place photopolymer stamp set in Real Red on the right side of a Basic White mat and cut it out with the Tasteful Labels Die.

I adhered the label with glue dots under the lacy strip and adhered the tree panel to the card front with dimensionals. I made a bow with the real red ribbon and adhered it next to the tree with glue dots and decorated the tree with red rhinestone gems. I put a large yellow rhinestone on the star and another red rhinestone on the label to finish the front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the bough from the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance stamp set in Evening Evergreen on the bottom of a Basic White panel and stamped the sentiment in Real Red. I adhered the panel to an Evening Evergreen mat and then to the inside of the card.

The large tree from the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Elegance stamp set reminds me of another tree from a Stampin’ Up! retired favorite, so I decided to make this card with a traditional layered DSP design. You can’t go wrong giving a card with a decorated Christmas tree!

Join me for a Facebook Live this Afternoon!

I’m planning to go live on my Facebook Page at 1:00 ET this afternoon to make another pretty Christmas tree card with this same stamp set. Look forward to seeing you then!

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I adhered a panel of the Tidings of Christmas designer series paper to the front of a Cherry Cobbler card base with liquid glue. I adhered a length of silver mesh ribbon to the DSP with Stampin’ Seal. I cut a panel of the striped Cherry Cobbler Tidings of Christmas DSP with the large stitched octagon die from the Hippo and Friends dies and adhered it to the DSP over the mesh ribbon.

I punched the pieces of the penguin using the Penguin Builder punch from the Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place bundle. I punched two center body pieces from Basic White, four feet from Mango Melody, two body pieces from Black Glitter cardstock and two body pieces from Basic Black as backing pieces to stiffen the little guys. I stamped the eyes on the center bodies in Memento Tuxedo Black and the nose in Mango Melody. I adhered the Basic Black to the back of the Black Glitter with liquid glue and adhered the center body to the front with glue dots. I adhered each foot with another glue dot and added a small matte black dot to each eye.

I used the snowflake die from the So Many Snowflakes dies to cut snowflakes from silver foil and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place stamp set in Versamark ink on Evening Evergreen. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set with my heat tool. I cut the sentiment out with the Messages die and adhered it to the card front. I popped the penguins on the card front with dimensionals and finished the front with silver epoxy dots.

I adhered a part of a silver snowflake in the upper corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the penguin from the Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the side and stamped his nose and feet in Mango Melody. I stamped the sentiment from the Tidings and Trimmings stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink and adhered a strip of Tidings of Christmas DSP along the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Above is the card I made during my video along side my sample card. In my sample, the penguin’s feet are hidden and I used a different sentiment with silver embossing powder. I think they are both cute! The cute Stampin’ Up! Penguin Place stamp set has fun Christmas and winter sentiments and birthday sentiments as well, so it will be perfect for penguin lovers celebrating birthdays.
