Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the March Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Celebrate Spring” and I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips bundle to make a colorful card with a Highland Heather Spring tulip! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut two panels of the Flowering Fields designer series paper and adhered them to Pear Pizzazz mats. I adhered the polka dot panel to the front of a Mango Melody card base with liquid glue and the tulip field panel on top with dimensionals.

I cut three flowers from a Highland Heather panel of the Flowering Fields designer series paper using the Tulips dies from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips bundle. I adhered the die cuts with dimensionals and glue dots to make the pretty 3D tulip flower and adhered the flower to the card front with glue dots. I used the leaves and small stem dies to cut a Pear Pizzazz panel of the Flowering Fields DSP and adhered them to the card with glue dots and dimensionals. I tied a knot in a length of Highland Heather ribbon and adhered it to the stem with a glue dot.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips photopolymer stamp set in Poppy Parade on a Basic White panel. I cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly die and adhered it to the cards with glue dots. I finished the label with a Highland Heather pearl.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the tulip from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips stamp set in Highland Heather on the side of a Basic White panel. I inked up the accent flower stamp and stamped it off before stamping over the tulip to give it dimension. I stamped the leaf and stem in Pear Pizzazz and adhered a strip of DSP to the bottom before adhering the panel to the inside of the card.

I love the dimensional tulips that the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips bundle makes. There are three styles, and I need to use them all. I also think the stamped tulips and sentiments are great too! It’s good that I’m ready for Spring tulips!!

Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow Thinking of You Card

Good morning! One of my favorite bundles in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog is the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow bundle. I love the detail botanical print floral images in the cling stamp set along with the wildflower silhouette die cuts and the simple, yet elegant sentiments. Today’s card is a quick and easy card that shows off the beautiful die cuts with the 2021-2022 In Color 6″x6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Soft Succulent 2021-2022 In Color 6″x6″ designer series paper to the top of a Basic White panel and adhered the contrasting Soft Succulent 2021-2022 In Color 6″x6″ DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the front of a Soft Succulent card base.

I cut a the two flower die cuts with the Meadow dies from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow bundle from Basic White card stock and adhered them to the card front with glue dots. I stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink on Soft Succulent card stock and sprinkled it with white embossing powder. I heat set the powder with my heat tool until it was shiny and cut out the label with the label die.

I popped the label on the card front with dimensionals. I cut the butterfly from the pretty Soft Succulent Shimmer Vellum and adhered it to the card front with a little liquid glue on the body.

For the inside of the card, I adhered the checked Soft Succulent DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The result is a simple monotone card in pretty Soft Succulent that shows off the beauty of the wildflower die cuts from the Stampin’ Up! Quiet Meadow bundle. This versatile bundle can be used in a lot of different ways and is perfect to experiment with different coloring techniques! Or, as you can see from this card, simply left as die cuts without color!

Stampin’ Up! In Bloom Thinking of You Card

Good morning! Here’s a Thinking of You card made with the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle and the Sale A Bration Paper Blooms designer series paper. The Paper Blooms DSP goes so well with the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle but it’s only available through next Sunday as Sale A Bration ends on February 28! I also used the new Happy Thoughts cling stamp set for the pretty sentiments. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of this post along with the sizes of card stock used.

I embossed a strip of Seaside Spray card stock with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a strip of Night of Navy card stock. I adhered them both to a Paper Blooms panel and then adhered the panel to a Night of Navy mat. I popped the panel on the front of a Seaside Spray card base.

One of the sheets in the Paper Blooms DSP pack has different colored watercolor circles. I used the Pierced Blooms dies from the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle to cut out the circles. I cut out some leaves, the flower and flower centers and bow from these circles and adhered the leaves to the strip with liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the label from the Pierced Blooms dies.

I adhered the label to the embossed strip next to the leaves. I adhered the bow to the strip and adhered the layers to the flower. I popped the flower on the strip with dimensionals and finished the front with some butterfly gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the small flowers from the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom photopolymer stamp set in Seaside Spray and Night of Navy ink in the top corner. I adhered a strip of the Paper Blooms DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle has pretty floral stamps and wonderful sentiments, but the dies are just fabulous! And it goes real well with the Paper Blooms Sale A Bration designer series paper pack. And if you get the bundle, you get the bundle 10% savings and you are just $1.50 short of qualifying for a Sale A Bration Level 1 FREE item. But you don’t have much time left because Sale A Bration runs through this Sunday, February 28.

Stampin’ Up! Stamp Honey Bee Thinking of You Card

Happy Friday! Today’s card is a Thinking of You card made with the pretty new Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee bundle. The Golden Honey specialty designer series paper that I used with it is available for FREE as a Sale-A-Bration item with a $50 purchase. Yay for Sale-A-Bration!! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I love the beehive stamp and die in the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee stamp bundle, so I had to make it a focal point in my card. I stamped it in Daffodil Delight ink on a Thick Whisper White panel and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the large bee and three of the small bees in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Thick Whisper White and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I colored the bee stripes with the dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blend.

I cut a panel of the Golden Honey specialty designer series paper with the flowers and bees and a strip of the black background honeycomb paper and adhered them together with multipurpose liquid glue. I adhered them to a Basic Black card base. I popped the beehive on the card front with dimensionals and arranged the bees around the hive. I used dimensionals to adhere the bees to the background and multipurpose liquid glue on the bee that is on the beehive.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee stamp set on a strip of basic black using Versamark ink. I sprinkled gold embossing powder on it and heat set. I trimmed the label and adhered it to the card. I added some gold metallic pearls to the label and colored some regular pearls with the Basic Black Dark Stampin Blend and added them around the beehive.

I stamped another small bee in Memento Tuxedo black in the corner of a Whisper White panel, I colored it’s stripes with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend and added a strip of the Golden Honey Specialty DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee bundle is one of the new bundles in the January-June 2020 Mini Catalog. It consists of the Honey Bee cling stamp set and the Detailed Bee dies and is available with a 10% discount. The Golden Honey specialty designer series paper is in the Sale-A-Bration brochure and is available for FREE with a $50 purchase. It has designs that coordinate with the Honey Bee stamps and the bee in today’s card background can be cut out with one of the dies in the set!

Stampin’ Up! High Tide Thinking of You Card

Hello and welcome to Amy’s Inkin Krew Blog Hop. This month’s theme is ‘Celebrate Summer‘ and I have a summer at the shore card featuring the Stampin’ Up! High Tide photopolymer stamp set, the Colorful Season photopolymer stamp set and Seasonal Layers dies.

I started by stamping the waves from the Stampin’ Up! High Tide stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a Pool Party background. I sponged the ocean with Balmy Blue and used my white gel pen to add white highlights. I stamped the flock of seagulls in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the sun from the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink on Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut it and adhered it to the Pool Party panel.

I stamped the sand using Sahara Sand ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped second time below. I stamped several times to get the texture I was happy with. I sponged the bottom with Sahara Sand ink and stamped the Thinking of You sentiment in Early Espresso ink. I tore the top of the Very Vanilla piece and attached it to the main panel over the ocean. I stamped the sea grass in Old Olive ink, going over the ocean and attached the panel to a Blueberry Bushel mat.

I die cut two Adirondack chairs in Real Red and glued them together with the fine tipped glue pen and attached the chair to the panel with dimensionals. I used dimensionals to attach the panel to a Sahara Sand card Base.

For the inside, I stamped more sand, seagrass and seagulls on a Very Vanilla panel. I matted it with Blueberry Bushel and adhered it to the inside of the card.

I am usually a traditionalist, but I just love those bright colorful plastic Adirondack chairs that they have at the home improvement stores, so I had to have one for my shore card! Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the Blog Hop.
