Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship Thank You Card

Good morning! I am back home after a long visit and excited to bring a Thank You card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship bundle. I used some of the new In Colors and the new masks with blending brushes to create a different look. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I positioned the small flower mask over a Basic White panel and secured it to my work surface with post it notes. I used a blending brush to apply some Fresh Freesia ink over the masked panel, making it darker in the center and lighter on the edges. I embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile embossing folder and adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Fresh Freesia card base.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship cling stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a Basic White panel. I cut it out with the smallest angled Tailor Made Tags dies. I also cut the little tab from Fresh Freesia card stock and adhered it to the front. I looped a short length of Fresh Freesia ribbon through the hole and tied a bow with white twine. I stamped three large flowers in Fresh Freesia ink on Fresh Freesia card stock and punched them out with the Flowers and Leaves punch. I stamped four large leaves in Soft Succulent ink on Soft Succulent card stock and punched them out.

I adhered the tag to the card front with glue dots. I gently curled the flower petals back with my bone folder and adhered the flowers to the card front around the tag with glue dots. I tucked the leaves under the flowers with more glue dots and added a resin dot to the center of each flower.

For the inside of the card, I used the floral mask again and inked up the bottom of a Basic White panel with my blending brush and Fresh Freesia ink. I stamped the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship stamp set in Fresh Freesia ink on Fresh Freesia card stock and two small leaves in Soft Succulent ink on Soft Succulent card stock. I colored the flower center with Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blend and punched the flower and leaves out. I adhered them to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

It felt good to be back in my stamp room, and it was really nice playing with new items! I was pleased with how pretty the masked background came out – and I was really happy with how easy it was to do with the blending brush. Give it a try, I’m sure you’ll be pleased with the results, too!

Join me for a Facebook Live this afternoon!

I’m planning to go live on my Facebook Page at 1:00 ET to make a card with the fun Wild Cats bundle! Look forward to seeing you then!

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Thank You Card

Good morning!  One of the cutest bundles in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog is the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch bundle. Today I am using the Pansy dies with the new Pansy Petals designer series paper to make a sweet pansy Thank You card. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used. The Pansy Patch bundle along with the designer series papers and embellishments on my card will be available when the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog launches next week on May 4, 2021.

I adhered a panel of Pale Papaya striped paper from the new 2021-2023 In Color 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack to a basic White panel with liquid glue. I embossed a Pale Papaya panel with the Meadow Moments embossing folder and adhered it to the bottom. I wrapped the panel with a length of pale papaya ribbon, securing it in the back and adhered it to the front of a Pale Papaya card base with dimensionals.

I cut a Basic White panel with the scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I used the Pansy Dies from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch bundle to die cut three large pansies and four leaves from the Pansy Petals designer series paper. I arranged the pansies and leaves on the scalloped rectangle and adhered the leaves and two of the pansies with glue dots. I adhered the last pansy with dimensionals and adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch photopolymer stamp set using Soft Succulent ink on Basic White and cut it out with the smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals and glue dots. I finished the card front with the new 2021-2023 In Color jewels.

For the inside of the card, I cut a small pansy from the Pansy Petals DSP and adhered it to a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch stamp set in Soft Succulent ink next to the flower and adhered the striped Pale Papaya DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love that the dies from the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch bundle can cut some of the images from the Pansy Petals designer series paper! It just gives you another option for using this wonderful new bundle. And it will finally be available next week on May 4, 2021! Here’s a picture of the bundle and my card along with the Pansy Petals DSP and the dies that you can use to cut the DSP.

Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the new Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship bundle from the upcoming 2021-2022 Annual Catalog for today’s Thank You card. I also used the new colorful and fun Pattern Party designer series paper that will be a host item in the new catalog. And the best news is that the new catalog will be open for orders next week on May 4th. I can’t wait!! You can find the currently available supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the pretty sketch we are using:

I adhered a panel of the new Pattern Party designer series paper to a Poppy Parade mat and then popped it on the front of a Coastal Cabana card base. I stamped the flower and stems from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship cling stamp set in Granny Apple Green ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the Stitched Rectangle Die. I colored the leaves with the light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ blend and adhered it to a Poppy Parade mat.

I stamped two large petal clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship stamp set in Poppy Parade ink on Basic White and cut them out with the new Flowers and Leaves punch that is in the bundle. I colored them with the Light Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend and adhered them together with a glue dot. I stamped four small petal clusters, punched them out, colored the flowers and adhered them together. I adhered the two small flowers to the panel with glue dots and popped the large flower on the panel with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship stamp set using Bermuda Bay ink on a Basic white strip and cut it out with the stitched rectangle from the Ornate Layers dies using the two step die cutting method. I cut a Coastal Cabana strip the same size and adhered it to the back of the label. Then I popped the floral panel on the side of the card front with dimensionals and adhered the label with dimensionals and glue dots. I finished the flowers centers with the new 2021-2023 In Color jewels and adhered a Coastal Cabana bow to the stem.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the row of flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship stamp set in Poppy Parade ink across the top of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the Pattern Party DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Flowers of Friendship bundle is a great little stamp and punch set with cute flowers and sentiments. The new Pattern Party designer series paper is so colorful and fun and this is the first time that a Designer Series Paper pack has been among the host items. Both of these items along with the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels will be available when the new catalog opens on May 4, 2021. Here is a picture of the new bundle with the new designer series paper and today’s card.

Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents Thank You Card

Good morning! Today I’m sharing a Thank You card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents bundle. I love this bundle and I’m glad that the stamp set and the Potted Succulents dies are being carried over in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog – It is just so versatile!! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

My card is inspired by the sketch in Fab Friday 211 Challenge Blog. Here is the pretty sketch:

Using a blending brush, I applied some Old Olive, Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry ink in splotches on a Pearlescent paper panel. I applied adhesive sheets to the back and cut it with the background die from the Potted Succulents dies from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents bundle. I removed the backing from the die cut Pearlescent paper and adhered it to a Mint Macaron panel. I trimmed a 3″ x 5-1/8″ panel and a 1/2″ x 4″ panel from the layered panel. It’s really hard to see the color because the color is light and the shimmer from the Pearlescent paper diffuses it even more, but it’s really pretty!

I adhered some Mint Macaron wood grained paper from the Subtles DSP pack to the sides of a Mint Macaron 4″ x 5-1/4″ panel, leaving a small border. I adhered the Pearlescent die cut panel in the center and popped the panel on the front of a Mint Macaron card base with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents cling stamp set in Mint Macaron ink on a Basic White panel. I used the Messages die to cut it out. I also cut a Mint Macaron panel with the Tasteful Labels die and adhered the stamped label to the top.

I cut a Vellum panel with the third largest Stitched Rectangles die and adhered the label to the front. I adhered the Vellum to the card front with glue dots hidden behind the label. I love how the design shows through the Vellum card stock!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the succulent bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents stamp set in Mint Macaron ink on a Basic White panel after stamping off twice. I stamped the sentiment full strength in Mint Macaron ink and trimmed the bottom with the strip of Pearlescent and Mint Macaron paper. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This is a fun sketch to show off this pretty panel with the Pearlescent die cut on the Mint Macaron card stock. And this panel shows another look that you can achieve with the Stampin’ Up! Simply Succulents bundle.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Sneak Peek Video Tutorial

Good Morning! I hope you had a great weekend. Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship bundle with a card that I made during my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. This beautiful bundle lets you easily make trees with a watercolor look because of the two step stamps and the dies let you make different kinds of dimensional trees. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used. Note that all of the new In Colors and products will be available when the new 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalog goes live on May 4, 2021!

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I tore the top of the Mossy Meadow Beauty of the Earth designer series paper and adhered it to the bottom of the Misty Moonlight sky Beauty of the Earth panel. I stamped the shadow from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship photopolymer stamp set in the new Evening Evergreen ink (This is one of the new 2021-2023 In Colors that will be available on May 4, 2021) and adhered the panel to a Basic White mat. I cut the small tree trunk die from the Soft Suede tree bark paper and adhered it to the panel on the shadow. I adhered the panel to the front of a Cinnamon Cider card base.

I stamped a Basic White panel and label strip with the large tree top stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Blushing Bride. I stamped several times to cover the whole panel and strip. I then stamped the small spatter in Polished Pink – another new In Color from the upcoming catalog. I die cut the panel with the large open die from the Beautiful Trees dies in the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship bundle. I adhered the pink tree top to the card with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on stamped strip and cut it out with the long label die. I folded a length of Cinnamon Cider ribbon and adhered it to the card with glue dots and adhered the label on top with dimensionals. I cut two birds with the Beautiful Trees dies from Misty Moonlight and adhered them to the tree with glue dots.

For the inside, I stamped the tree top in Blushing Bride ink on the bottom of a Basic White panel. I stamped the tree trunk in stamped off Soft Suede ink and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship bundle is another fantastic tree themed bundle with beautiful stamps, dies and sentiments. It will be available in the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalog on May 4, 2021. Here’s a picture of the stamp set and dies along with the beautiful Beauty of the Earth designer series paper.

Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Suited Video Tutorial

Good Monday Morning! I hope that it’s the start of a wonderful week for you! This is the card I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon featuring the Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Suited bundle along with the Well Suited designer series paper. I fell in love with this bundle at first sight. I’ve always liked cards that look like clothes and with lots of guys in my family, I need to make lots of masculine cards. And the suit card that you can make with this bundle is perfect! It makes a beautiful (handsome?) card and it does so very easily! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.

I lined up a panel of the Well Suited grey pinstripe designer series paper on my grid paper and placed the large V die from the Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Suited bundle so that it lined up at the 1″ and 3-1/4″ mark on the ruler and secured it with some washiest tape. This gives you a well centered jacket. I ran it through my die cutting machine to cut the jacket. I adhered it to the front of a Thick Basic White card base with liquid glue just around the outside edge, leaving the V open so I could tuck the tie underneath.

Using the Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Suited dies, I cut the collar piece from Basic White and the two tie pieces from the Well Suited designer series paper. I cut the knot in a different direction from the long tie and adhered it to the top of the tie with liquid glue. I adhered the collar to the top of the card aligning it even with the top of the card and centered in the opening. I applied the liquid glue only to the top edge so that I could slip the tie under the bottom of the collar.

I applied a little liquid to the tie and slipped it under the jacket and then tucking it under the collar. I slid it into position so it was straight and pressed. I adhered the jacket lapel and the chest pocket with liquid glue and adhered two Basic Gray buttons, one near the top of the V and one at the bottom. I finished the tie with a silver metallic pearl tie tac.

For the inside, I didn’t want to use the Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Suited great Father’s Day sentiment (It’s way too early), so I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Pallet Thoughts stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with the same Well Suited DSP as the tie and adhered the panel to a Night of Navy mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Suited bundle is a wonderful set for making masculine cards. I’m really impressed at how great the suit looks and how easy it was to put together. It’s definitely a bundle you need if you make a lot of masculine cards.

Stampin’ Up! Heal Your Heart Thank You Card

Happy Wednesday! Here in Southeast Pennsylvania, the snowing has stopped and the ground is so pretty with all the snow! It’s still cold so it’s a good day to stay in and make cards. Today’s card is a simple thank you card made with a couple of Sale A Bration items – The Stampin’ Up! Heal Your Heart cling stamp set and the Flower and Field designer series paper. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by die cutting both sides of a Flirty Flamingo panel with the fancy, lacy die from the Ornate Borders dies. I adhered a panel of Flower and Field Sale A Bration designer series paper to the front of the die cut and adhered the layered panel to the front of a Just Jade card base with dimensionals.

I cut out the embossed butterfly from the Fluttering dies using Bumblebee card stock. Isn’t it pretty!! I love the embossed details in the wings! I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Heal Your Heart stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Thick Basic White card stock and cut it out with the third smallest scalloped rectangle die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals and adhered the butterfly with glue dots. I made a bow with Just Jade gingham ribbon and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card with two small matte black dots on the butterfly.

For the inside of the card, I adhered another strip of Flower and Field DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I cut another strip of Flirty Flamingo with the lacy border die and adhered it on top of the DSP with tiny dots of liquid glue (I always forget to use my adhesive strips – this would have been perfect). I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Heal Your Heart stamp set and Flower and Field DSP are both Sale A Bration Level 1 items that are FREE with $50 in purchases (before shipping and taxes). And did you know that if your order total is over $100 you can get them both for FREE! Or you could choose one of the Level 2 items for FREE instead! The Stampin’ Up! Heal Your Heart stamp set is full of thoughtful sentiments written in the most beautiful script! The Flower and Field designer series paper has many pretty floral designs that work well with lots of stamps and punches. I love them both!

Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo Thank You Card

Good Morning! Today I have a fun fold thank you card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo Product Medley. You can find the supplies at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the embossed Very Vanilla card stock from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo product medley to a Misty Moonlight panel with liquid Glue. I adhered the card base to the panel with liquid glue and adhered the panel of floral Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo DSP to the front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo stamp set in Misty Moonlight on a strip of Very Vanilla and trimmed the ends with the Banner Pick A Punch. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots. I cut out two large leaves from Pear Pizzazz and one leaf from Mossy Meadow using the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo leaf dies. I stamped the large basket in Cinnamon Cider ink on Very Vanilla and cut it out with the coordinating die.

I arranged the leaves on the card front and adhered them to the card with glue dots. I adhered the basket with dimensionals and added an enamel dot to finish the label.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower trio from the Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo stamp set in the corners of a Very Vanilla panel with Misty Moonlight ink. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This fun fold card was pretty easy to make and it was fun to change things up a bit. The Stampin’ Up! Boho Indigo product medley has tons of coordinating products and there’s a refill kit too. The product medley includes:

  • 11-piece photopolymer stamp set
  • 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ DSP
  • 6 sheets of Very Vanilla 6″ x 6″ dry embossed card stock
  • die cuts with gold foil accents
  • 10 yards of Night of Navy ribbon
  • 10 yards of Very Vanilla/gold ribbon
  • paper flowers, 20 each in 2 sizes;
  • 12-piece Boho Indigo Dies

Like other kits, the product medley has die cuts with gold foil accents and coordinating embellishments to make your cards pretty. But unlike other kits, the product medley has full size DSP packs, ribbons, stamps & dies! And there are no pre-made card instructions, so you can really unleash your creativity. And of course, everything is in Stampin’ Up! colors, so you can coordinate with other things in your stampin’ stash!

Stampin’ Up! Well Written Thank You Cards

Good Morning! Today I want to share a set of thank you cards using the Stampin’ Up! Well Written Dies with the Sale A Bration Flower & Field designer series paper. You can find the supplies at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used the Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes as my card bases. These are nice, thick card bases that don’t need a liner and meet the minimum size requirement to be mailed by the US Postal Service, so they are perfect for a quick thank you or for a little set of cards. They are pre-scored, so you just need to fold it and burnish the edge well with your bone folder.

I embossed a panel of Basic White with the Little Details embossing folder. I adhered the striped paper to the floral paper from the Flower & Field designer series paper and adhered them both to the bottom of the embossed panel. I adhered the panel to the front of the note card.

I adhered a strip of adhesive sheets to the back of a Basic White strip and cut out the thanks sentiment die from the Stampin’ Up! Well Written dies. I peeled the backing off and adhered the word to the floral designer series paper and finished off the card front with a Black Matte dot.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Well Written dies for making die cut words. The font is sweet and casual and there are words for lots of occasions. And I love the Little Details embossing folders with all the different stitches – it adds wonderful texture to the white background.

Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes Thank You Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a Winter Thank You card made with the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle. This is the card I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon and I also used the Winter Snow 3D embossing folder and the Snowflake Splendor designer series paper to make sure I had enough snowflakes. Today’s card was inspired by a set of cards I saw on Pinterest made by Australian Demonstrator Gail Ellis. You can find the supplies I used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer. Later this week I hope to get a quickie version posted to my channel too.

I embossed a Whisper White panel with the Winter Snow embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Whisper White note card. I adhered the Snowflake Splendor DSP panels to the Balmy Blue mats and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. I could not believe that when I was Live, I put my liquid glue on the wrong side of the designer series paper!! So I had to change things up a bit and stamped in Pacific Point instead of Balmy Blue. The color is a little more intense, but everything still goes together beautifully!

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes photopolymer stamp set to a Whisper White panel in Pacific Point ink and cut it out with the Tasteful Labels die. I adhered some Snowflake Splendor ribbon to the back and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals.

I cut two small snowflakes and a medium snowflake from Balmy Blue glimmer paper with the So Many Snowflakes dies from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes bundle and adhered them to the card front. I finished the card with a blue gem.

I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Wishes photopolymer stamp set in Pacific Point ink after stamping off in the corners of the inside of the card. I also stamped the outside of the envelope with Pacific Point snowflakes to match.

The Whisper White note cards and envelopes are perfect for a quick little thank you note – they are nice and thick, and don’t need an inside panel. Layered panel card designs like this one are a good use for those little scraps of pretty DSP that you can’t bear to throw out. And sending a quick thank you after Christmas is a nice way to reach out and let the joy of the season linger a little longer.
