Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! I’m almost finished with my Christmas cards, but ever since I picked up the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic bundle, I knew that I need to use the snowflakes for a Christmas card. So I’m glad that I finally pulled it together. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a theme challenge this week with a winter theme – Brrrr… But it’s a perfect for my card today!

I embossed a strip of Pool Party card stock with the pretty snowflake Wintry 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the side of a panel of the snowflake pattern paper in the Textured Chic designer series paper. I adhered the layered DSP to a Pool Party mat and wrapped a length of glittered white organdy ribbon and tied a knot. I adhered the panel to the front of a Basic Gray card base with dimensionals.

I cut five small snowflake dies from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic bundle dies from Pool Party and adhered large rhinestone jewels to the centers. I adhered one of the small snowflakes to the center of a Wonderful Snowflake with a glue dot and adhered the large snowflake to the card with a glue dot. I cut a white glimmer snowflake using the large snowflake from the Chic dies and adhered a small Pool Party snowflake to the center before adhering it to the card with a glue dot. I cut two more iridescent small snowflakes from the edges of the Wonderful Snowflakes sheet and adhered large rhinestone jewels to the center.

I stamped the sentiment from the Framed and Festive stamp set in Versamark ink on Basic White. I sprinkled it with Silver embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the small label die from the Potted Succulents dies. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished it with a small rhinestone jewel. I adhered the rest of the jeweled and die cut small snowflakes to the front of the card with glue dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Framed and Festive stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the snowflake from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set in stamped off Pool Party in the corners. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Textured Chic DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love snowflake Christmas cards and the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic bundle has pretty ones. And they aren’t just for Christmas, you can use the bundle and DSP for any occasion in the winter!

Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the August Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Fall Frenzy” and I am using the pretty Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic bundle with the sweet Sale-A-Bration Rings of Love designer series paper for a Fall Thinking of You card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the pretty fall leaves Rings of Love designer series paper to a Poppy Parade mat with liquid glue and adhered it to the front of a Crushed Curry card base with dimensionals.

I inked up the leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic photopolymer stamp set in Poppy Parade, stamped off on scratch paper and stamped it on a Basic White panel. I cut it out with the background leaf die from the Chic dies that come in the bundle and adhered a detailed Poppy Parade die cut leaf on top with liquid glue. I used the detailed leaf die to cut leaves from Soft Succulent and So Saffron and adhered all three leaves to the card front with glue dots.

I used the acorn and acorn cap dies from the Tree Rings Dies Hybrid Embossing folder set to cut the acorns from Crumb Cake and Soft Suede card stock and adhered them to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set in Soft Suede ink on Crushed Curry card stock. I cut it out with the die from the Painted Labels dies and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I tied a short length of window pane check ribbon in a knot and adhered it with a glue dot. I finished the card with rustic metallic dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic Stamp set in stamped off Evening Evergreen and Crushed Curry in the corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of the pretty Rings of Love DSP before adhering it to the inside of the card.

The Sale-A-Bration Rings of Love designer series paper is so pretty with gorgeous colors and designs that go with so many stamp sets, such as today’s Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic. And you can get it free with a $50 order (before shipping and taxes) through the end of the month during Sale-A-Bration.

Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here is another card made with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp bundle and the Texture Chic specialty designer series paper. Today I used the pretty floral motifs for a Thank You card. You can find the currently available supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun theme challenge this week to use designer series paper! And I went all out with the gorgeous foils in the Texture Chic specialty DSP, the beautiful Distressed Gold paper and gold foil mats!

I adhered a panel of Texture Chic DSP to a gold foil mat and adhered it to the front of a Petal Pink card base with dimensionals. I adhered a strip of dotted Texture Chic DSP to a Gold Foil mat and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue and adhered a floral panel to a Soft Succulent mat that was popped on the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the solid flower from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set in Mango Melody on Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I cut the detailed large flower from Distressed Gold paper and adhered it to the stamped flower with liquid glue. I cut two small flowers from Blushing Bride and two leaves from Soft Succulent using the Chic dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set in Soft Succulent on Basic White and cut it out with the large banner from the Stylish Shapes dies. I adhered the banner to the card front with glue dots and dimensionals. I adhered the leaves and die cut small flowers to the card front with glue dots and popped the large flower on with dimensionals, doubling one to get a smooth front. I finished with gold floral trinkets.

For the inside, I stamped the large detailed flower from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set in Mango Melody in the lower corner of a Basic White panel. I covered it with a mask and stamped the detailed leaves in Soft Succulent. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Texture Chic specialty DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic bundle and Texture Chic specialty DSP are simply gorgeous and fun to play with. There are themes for all seasons, including shells, leaves and snowflakes in addition to the flowers I used, so it’s very versatile!

Stampin’ Up! Season Of Chic Thinking of You Card

Good Morning! The new Texture Chic Suite in the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog is so beautiful and unique. It has the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic bundle with an eclectic set of stamps and dies with sea shell, flower, leaf and snowflake motifs along with different spatter and brushstroke stamps that encourages creativity. It also has the beautiful Texture Chic specialty designer series paper with touches of gold foil and the gorgeous Distressed Gold specialty paper. I used all three for today’s shell motif thinking of you card and you can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Texture Chic specialty designer series paper to a Gray Granite mat. I used a blending brushes to apply Gray Granite ink and Petal Pink ink to two spots on a Basic White panel. I stamped the shell from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic photopolymer stamp set to stamp over the blended spots, using Petal Pink over the Gray Granite spot and Mango Melody over the Petal Pink spot. I cut the shells out with the coordinating die.

I stamped another Pink shell on plain Basic White and cut it out with the coordinating die and cut a panel of Distressed Gold specialty paper with the large detailed shell die. I adhered the gold shell to the Petal Pink stamped shell with liquid glue. I die cut the two small detailed shells from Petal Pink card stock and traced the long shell outline on a Basic White scrap. I used a blending Brush to apply Petal Pink ink to the shell and stamped over it with the spatter stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set and Mango Melody ink. I fussy cut the shell and adhered it to the back of my die cut Petal Pink shell.

I cut a vellum panel with the screen die from the Chic dies and colored the back with Gray Granite and Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends. I adhered the screen to the DSP panel with Stampin’ Seal across the middle and along the side. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set in Gray Granite ink on Basic White and cut it out with the Stylish Shapes banner die. I adhered some gold shimmer ribbon to the DSP panel with Stampin’ Seal and adhered the label on top with glue dots. I used glue dots to adhere the two smaller shells and the plain larger shells. I adhered the layered distress gold shell with dimensionals and adhered the DSP panel to the front of a Petal Pink card base with dimensionals. I finished the card front with Polished Dots.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the shell from the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set in Petal Pink and Gray Granite in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the Spatter in Mango Melody and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Texture Chic specialty DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

Here in the Northeast, it’s a big beach weekend with gorgeous weather, so the shells in the Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic stamp set make a perfect card for the times. The light woodgrain DSP with the shells make the perfect background for a sun bleached look. This was a fun card to make and I hope it inspires you for summertime fun.
