Stampin’ Up! Happy and Heartfelt Congratulations Card

Good Morning! In the January – June 2022 Mini Catalog, there’s a really sweet and unique sentiment stamp set – the Stampin’ Up! Happy and Heartfelt cling stamp set. I love this set and I used it with the pretty retiring Sweet Symmetry designer series paper and the wonderful retiring Pierced Blooms dies for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Sweet Symmetry DSP to a Basic White mat with liquid glue. I adhered another strip of Bumblebee Sweet Symmetry DSP across the background DSP panel and a strip of Night of Navy DSP along the left side. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy and Heartfelt stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the label die from the Pierced Blooms die.

I cut the flower using dies from the Pierced Blooms dies from Calypso Coral, Bumblebee and Night of Navy and adhered the pieces together with liquid glue. I cut the two large leaf sprigs from Just Jade card stock. I adhered the label to the DSP panel with liquid glue and adhered the leaves with glue dots. I adhered the flower with dimensionals and adhered the panel to the front of a Calypso Coral card base with dimensionals.

I made a bow with Bumblebee gingham ribbon and adhered it under the flower with a glue dot and finished the card front with Bumblebee faceted square gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Happy and Heartfelt stamp set in Night of Navy on a Basic White panel. I cut the flower from Bumblebee, Night of Navy and Just jade and adhered it with liquid glue. I trimmed the bottom of the panel with a strip of Sweet Symmetry DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card.

Aren’t the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Happy and Heartfelt stamp set great! They are so unique and the font is just like handwriting! They can be used with anything, so I pulled out some pretty retiring DSP and dies from my stash. Because I love the Pierced Blooms dies – they remind me of quilted flowers. And they’re one of the retiring items that is on sale, so it’s a great time to pick them up!

Stampin’ Up! In Bloom Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Sale A Bration Penguin Playmates designer series paper is so pretty with all the winter fun and happy critters. But it’s also a pretty color palette, so I wanted to use it for a floral card using the pretty Stampin’ Up! In Bloom photopolymer stamp set and coordinating Pierced Blooms dies. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I’m entering my card into the Global Design Project’s theme challenge #307 because the theme is Thank You:

I adhered a panel of striped Penguin Playmates designer series paper to the bottom of a Soft Sea Foam panel. I embossed a panel of Fresh Freesia card stock with floral Meadow Moments embossing folder and adhered it to the top of the panel. I wrapped a length of denim ribbon around the seam and secured it in the back and then adhered the panel to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base.

I stamped the pretty sentiment from the In Symmetry stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on a Soft Sea Foam panel and cut it out with the label die from the Pierced Blooms dies. I adhered it to the card front over the ribbon with dimensionals. I cut the leaves from Just Jade and adhered them to the card with glue dots.

I cut the large flower from the Pierced Blooms dies from Fresh Freesia and the small flower and bow from Misty Moonlight. I adhered the small flower to the large flower with liquid glue and popped the large flower onto the card front with dimensionals. I used a glue dot to adhere the bow and tucked it under the flower. I finished the card with Just Jade and Misty Moonlight faceted gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped some small flowers from the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set in Fresh Freesia and Misty Moonlight ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the striped Penguin Place DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

I love the die cut flowers from the Pierced Blooms dies and the coordinating Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set. The Fresh Freesia die cut flower looks so pretty with the striped Penguin Playmates designer series paper and makes a nice floral thank you card for the end of the summer. Time to make way for all things fall!

Stampin’ Up! In Bloom Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today I have a sweet floral Birthday Card made with the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle and the pretty Paper Blooms Sale A Bration designer series paper. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week, and here’s the pretty sketch we’re using. When I saw it, I knew that I needed to use the Paper Blooms designer series paper so I could use the pretty Rococo Rose stripes on the bottom.

I adhered the striped Rococo Rose Paper Blooms paper to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhered the Rococo Rose floral paper to the top. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom stamp set in Rococo Rose on a strip of Basic White and trimmed the end with the Banner Pick A Punch. I punched the end of a Rococo Rose strip and embossed it with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder. I adhered the label to the embossed banner and adhered them both to the DSP panel on the seam.

I cut the two large stitched flowers from Balmy Blue using the Pierced Blooms dies from the Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle. I cut the medium flowers from So Saffron and the leaves and flower centers from Smoky Slate. Finally I cut two sets of the small flowers from Rococo Rose. I used the Stampin’ Up Color Coach for Rococo Rose to choose my color palette, pairing it with Balmy Blue and Smoky Slate. You can find it on the second page HERE. I really like how this color palette came out, the Balmy Blue flowers really pop! I also love these die cut flowers and leaves!! It was so much fun playing with them to figure out what looked best layered together.

I layered the flowers, adhering them with liquid glue and arranged them on the DSP panel, adhering them with liquid glue and popping the one on front with dimensionals. I added rhinestone gems to the flower centers and adhered the DSP panel to the front of a Rococo Rose card base with dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, trimmed the bottom of a Basic White panel with the Rococo Rose floral paper from the Paper Blooms DSP and adhered more dic cut flowers. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! In Bloom bundle is a great bundle with pretty images for stamped flowers, fun sentiments (I love this font) and awesome coordinating dies. There are 25 dies in the Pierced Blooms die set, and the stitching is just gorgeous!! And don’t forget that the Paper Blooms designer series paper is free with a $50 purchase (before shipping and taxes) during Sale A Bration!
