Good Morning! Have you seen the Stampin’ Up! July Paper Pumpkin kit cards? These are so cute and so much fun! They’re side step fun fold cards with a wonderful summer theme reflecting the best times at the beach. I put together one of each card – and they came together rather quickly! Here they are:

I love the beach chair die cut with the umbrella and toys. Perfect for summer fun!

Good Morning! I received my May 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Exploring In Color last week and I made one of each of the cards according to the directions. This is such a pretty kit with gorgeous mountain landscapes that are on both sides of the card base! The beautiful scenes are carried over to the printed envelopes and they really do reflect the theme of Explore!

Here’s a closeup of each card. Isn’t that a wonderful sentiment? I love how the path is also printed on the envelope!

Each of these beautiful mountain scenes show a hint of a fantastic adventure! This one makes me want to hop into the canoe and explore with friends!

No mountains in the last one, but the buffalo give a wonderful sense of peace and freedom!

I love that the card bases have pictures on the front and back because it allows you to cut them in half and mount them on a card stock card base and have double the number of cards! The sentiments are wonderfully inspirational and the kit makes the perfect base for masculine cards.

Good Morning! I received my March 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit – All the Little Things this week. This is such a pretty kit with gorgeous florals and iridescent foil! So I made the cards, pretty much according to the directions.

Here’s a closeup of each card. For the first card, I simply changed to use the Calypso Coral twine instead of the Basic Black. I love the dotted design stamp, it looks like a lacy overlay!

On this card, I changed the sentiment. These flowers are so pretty, they look like stained glass!

The gorgeous leaves on the last one make such a dramatic overlay!

Stampin’ Up! Prepaid Paper Pumpkin Subscription Options:

Good Morning! I received my March 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Ten Years of Growth this week. This is Paper Pumpkin’s 10 year anniversary kit and it came with an extra bonus stamp set. But the first thing I noted was the gold tissue paper – OMG I had to use it! So I made one of each card, pretty much according to the directions and some alternative designs using the bonus stamp set.

Here’s a closeup of each card. I added pastel adhesive sequins to my cards since the colors worked so well. I love the greenery in the kit! The colors are so pretty and the touches of gold perfect. In the first card, I used Shaded Spruce for my sentiment instead of the Polished Pink that came in the kit.

I love this bookshelf in the second card – I want mine to look like this!

I love the gold die cut word on the second one. There is a great mix of sentiments in the kit between the two stamp sets. And they’re perfect for the this season of growth and for celebrating women and Mother’s Day.

My first alternative is a Mother’s Day card combining items from my stash and the kit. I used Polished Pink for the card base, Gingham Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes dies Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon, Elegant trim and Orchid Oasis ink. I embossed the floral image in Black and used a Water Painter to color the flowers and leaves in Polished Pink, Orchid Oasis and Shaded Spruce.

Here’s where I used the gold tissue paper. Remember the faux handmade paper technique where you crumble the tissue and adhere it to card stock with the wrinkles? I did that and cut it out with the Deckled Rectangles dies. I embossed the flower in gold and cut it out with a smaller deckled rectangle die and planted it in one of the kit’s large white embossed pots. I used the new gold ribbon from the Online Exclusives for my bow and more Pastel Sequins.

Good Morning! I received my February 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Sunshine and Smiles a while back and I finally got a chance to put together some of the cards – they are sooo cute!! I made one of each card and pretty much followed the instructions for putting the cards together.

Here’s a closeup of each card. I love the peek through windows featured in these cards – such a fun idea! I love how you can add card elements in both in front and behind the windows.

For the second card, I simply substituted Old Olive ink from my stash for the Mango Melody in the sentiment. The floral hillside is so Springy!

I love layering on the last one – I can so something similar with the Layering Diorama dies.

Here is everything you get in the kit. There are so many die cuts that you can mix and match.

The die cuts go well with all the items in the Rain or Shine Suite from the current Mini Catalog. And the special add-on purchase was a set of dies to coordinate with the flowers and frog in the little stamp set. I hope that Paper Pumpkin does a similar add-on in the future! I did not get a chance to make any alternative designs, but here are some cute ones that the Paper Pumpkin design team came up with:

This was such a fun kit – perfect for Spring. And while playing with it, I got so many ideas for other fun cards. Next month is Paper Pumpkin’s 10th anniversary and the kit will celebrate the growth! I think this will be another good one, so consider signing up – Deadline is March 10, 2023.

Good Morning! I received my November 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – From The North Pole! this week and I put together a couple of cute tags. This kit makes 12 sparkly gift tags – four each of three designs. And it coordinates with last month’s Paper Pumpkin kit that made cards. Here are the tags that I made, pretty much according to the directions:

Here’s a closeup of each tag. Note that there are ‘To” and ‘From” stamps that I used to stamp on the back

Here is everything you get in the kit. There are so many die cuts that you can mix and match. The Mint Macaron Glimmer tag and snowflakes are really pretty and along with the iridescent small snowflakes, give your tags a bit of sparkle. You also get some Mint Macaron baker’s twine and a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Spot.

Here’s the stamp set that comes in the kit.

The colors and designs go well with the little North Pole Sacks that are an add on item (item 162416, $4). Here I made a tag and adhered it to one of the treat bags. I also used one of the Santas from last month’s kit and some ribbons and embellishments from my stash.

And finally I combined one of the card bases from last month’s kit with a tag from this month’s kit and embellishments from my stash to make a tag card.

Good Morning! I received my October 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Ho Ho Ho! this week and I put together some of the pretty cards. This kit makes 9 cards – three of each whimsical, fun Santa themed designs. I made them pretty much according to directions and they are so festive and cute!

Here is my first Santa Clause card. I stamped the sentiment on the inside of the card rather on the Garden Green strip. The Santa is so cute and the Crumb Cake snowflake background is beautiful, especially with the iridescent snowflakes!

Here’s my second card with the beautiful large iridescent snowflake. I just love these die cut snowflake backgrounds!

And here’s my last card with the vellum background on the letters. The ombre starry sky is so pretty and I love how nicely done the coordinating envelopes are!

Good Morning! I received my July 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Sending Good Thoughts last weekend and I put together some of the pretty cards. This kit makes 9 cards – three of each design and they are perfect for summer with ocean and message in a bottle themes. I did something different with this month’s kit – I didn’t make any of them according to directions! I used the basic items, but then I brought out other stamp bundles and inks from my stash and added other seaside stamps and die cuts to make the cards my own. So be sure to watch the Paper Pumpkin unboxing video if you want to make the cards according to the instructions!

Here is my first card with the ship in the bottle. I added the small palms from the Paradise Palms bundle stamped in Garden Green and Old Olive and the Bermuda Bay die cut palm frond. I stamped the little seagulls from the Mountain Air stamp set in Basic Gray and added some sea glass embellishments too!

And on the inside, I repeated the ship and palm trees theme in a corner.

Here’s my second card, where I stamped more of the stamps in the kit on the bottle. I used the Poppy Parade, Fresh Freesia and Pear Pizzazz ink pads from my stash and the little school of fish from the Whale of a Time stamp set in addition to the sea horse and starfish stamps from the kit. I also added a Pool Party shell from the Chic dies and more sea glass embellishments.

And on an inside corner, I repeated the little scene I stamped inside the bottle.

And here’s my last card where I added Poppy Parade starfish to the background Pool Party banner. I stamped and die cut the starfish from the Friends are Like Seashells bundle and added a Fresh Freesia die cut shell from the Chic dies. And of course, more sea glass embellishments!

And on the inside I stamped the little coral from the Whale of a Time stamp set in Fresh Freesia and Pacific Point and the school of fish in Bermuda Bay in a corner.

Here’s the stamp set included in the kit:

There are so many nautical and tropical stamp and die sets, both current and retired, that would go well with this Paper Pumpkin kit. The printed and embossed panels for the card fronts are very nice and the sentiments are sweet. This is a great kit for summer cards whether you make them according to the instructions or come up with alternative designs, adding items from your own stash!

Next month’s Paper Pumpkin kit is Sweet Sunflowers and it has a few surprises in addition to the pretty sunflowers!

Here is my first card with the pretty berry baskets. The colors are gorgeous and I love the vellum accents with the linen thread bow.

Here’s my second card, with the baguettes and cheese – another cute design!

And here’s my last card with the flower and bread cart. The printed card base background is so pretty with cart.
