Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms Hello Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms bundle is a pretty floral cling stamp set that comes with sweet sentiments and a two sided punch that punches out leaves on one side and flowers on the other. The flowers are solid graphic floral designs rather than line art designs and they are very versatile. Today I made my own DSP panel in Polished Pink, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade with these pretty floral stamps, and I pulled in the little flower from the Lovely You stamp set as well. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color designer series paper to the front of a Thick Basic White card base. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms stamp set in Polished Pink and Daffodil delight randomly on a Basic White panel. I stamped a few leaves in Granny Apple Green and finally used the little flower from the Lovely You stamp set to fill in the spaces with Poppy Parade.

I used the scalloped edge die from the Penned Flowers die to cut the edge of a Granny Apple Green panel and adhered the stamped panel on top. I adhered the layered panel to the front of my card. I used the bough punch from the Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms bundle to punch a Granny Apple Green leaf sprig and a Daffodil Delight flower sprig.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms stamp set in Granny Apple Green on Basic White and cut it out with the banner die from the Give It A Whirl dies. I used the Messages die to cut a banner from the Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color DSP and cut it in half. This allowed me to adhere each piece of the die cut and get the overlap to the right length. I adhered the punched leaves and flowers with glue dots and the label with dimensionals and finished with a little bumblebee trinket!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower and leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms stamp set in Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green on a Basic White panel. I added some Poppy Parade flowers from the Lovely You stamp set and trimmed the side with a strip of DSP .

The Stampin’ Up! Boughs and Blossoms bundle is a wonderful floral stamp set for Spring and it can be easily combined with other solid flower stamp sets in your stash. I love the random stamping technique to make my own DSP because I can use whatever colors I feel like. This stamp set is perfect for the job.

Stampin’ Up! Lovely You for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You cling stamp set to make a simple, elegant thinking of you card for today. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the pretty sketch we are using:

I embossed a panel of Mossy Meadow with the Timber 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Mossy Meadow card base with liquid glue.

I cut a panel of Brushed Gold metallic foil with the Stitched Rectangle die. I used the Stitched Greenery die on another Mossy Meadow panel to get the die cut leafy texture on the center panel. I cut it down to 2-13/16″ x 4-3/16″ making sure I had a 5-1/4″ strip for the inside trim and adhered it to the Brushed Gold panel with liquid glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set on a Basic White panel and cut it out with the long label from the Stitched Rectangles dies. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots and cut the small leaf from cork paper using the stitched leaves dies. I adhered the leaf with a glue dot, tucking it under the label. I finished the card front with Gold Metallic dots and a Linen Thread bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the branch from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set in Bumblebee on a Basic White panel. I stamped part of the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set in Mossy Meadow next to the branch. I cut down the remaining die cut leafy Mossy Meadow panel to 1/2″ x 5-1/4″ and adhered it to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Don’t you think the embossed background goes really well with the die cut panel? And I love the sentiments in the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set. I think this design would also make a wonderful masculine birthday card with the appropriate sentiments.

Stampin’ Up! Lovely You Grateful Card

Good Morning! Today I want to share a fun card made with lots of different dies but features one of the pretty sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You bundle. This stamp set has so many different sentiments, but the fonts are perfect for the light hearted, fun nature of the card design. You can find the list of supplies supplies I used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut the two funky birds from the Birds & More dies from red Felt from the Festive Felt pack. I ran it through the die cutting machine about 4 times to get a good cut, but there were still a few places where I had to trim some felt with my snips. These dies are pretty detailed, and my cutting plate is pretty well used, but I was still pretty happy to be able to get crisp die cuts from the felt!! Yay!

I cut the branch from the Birds & More dies and Just Jade card stock. I cut the bird house from the Home Together dies and Crumb Cake card stock. Then I punched the flowers from Bumblebee card stock with the Confetti Flowers border punch and added pearls to the largest three flowers. I adhered these to the branch with liquid glue. Then I assembled my card base by adhering a panel of Balmy Blue Subtles 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Whisper White mat and then to the front of a Whisper White card base with liquid glue.

I punched the ends of the Whisper White panel with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You cling stamp set in Crumb Cake ink. I positioned the elements on the card front and adhered them to the front with liquid glue, starting with the label and finishing with the birds. I was careful to apply the liquid glue to the back of the birds in small dots and tried to get good coverage – I wanted good adhesion, but no gushing glue, because it would be much messier with felt than with paper. I finished the card front with a short length of red braided trim knotted and adhered to the label.

I left the inside pretty simple so that there is plenty of room to write a message. I trimmed the bottom of a Whisper White panel with a strip of the Balmy Blue Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set has so many different sentiments, and I think that any of them would be perfect for this card. And I’m so glad that the bird die cuts worked so well on the felt – it really makes this card special!

Stampin’ Up! Lovely You Projects

Good Morning! Today I am sharing some projects made by the Stampin’ Up! designers using the sweet Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp bundle. Yesterday I was laid up sick all day because I got my shingles vaccine the day before, so I wasn’t able to make a card or prepare my post as usual. But I liked these projects the moment I saw them, so I thought I’d share them.

I love this project – it uses the acetate card boxes to make a pretty gift box! The embossed vellum with the soft colors and fussy cut images are really sweet. I especially love the Flirty Flamingo Stitched So Sweetly die cut that is embossed with the Dainty Diamonds 3D embossing folder.

This card inspired a card I made last week, but the colors from the Playing with Patterns designer series paper are just beautiful. Notice the fun way the ribbons are tied!

And this is just gorgeous with all the gold from the Forever Gold specialty designer series paper. The White embossed black label is always a classic touch!

Click on the picture below to view a PDF of the sample recipes for these projects.

And here are close ups of the stamp set and punch:

I hope you like these projects and that they inspire you to create something pretty. I’ll post an original project tomorrow, and don’t forget to catch my Facebook Live on Sunday at 1:00 ET.

Stampin’ Up! Lovely You Just Because Note Card

Happy Friday!! Today I’m sharing a simple Just Because card made with the fun Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp bundle. This bundle consists of the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You cling stamp set and the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch – and it’s available at a 10% discount! You can find all the supplies I used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a panel of Just Jade card stock to Cinnamon Cider mat. I cut strips of Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider and Just Jade card stock. I embossed the Cinnamon cider strip with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder and embossed the Just Jade strip with the Greenery embossing folder. I stamped the leaf branch from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set in Cinnamon Cider randomly on the Bumblebee strip.

I cut strips of the Flowers for Every Season designer series paper that coordinated with the other colors I chose and I punched both ends of all the strips with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. I adhered the strips to the Just Jade panel, staggering the ends.

I wrapped Linen Thread around the layered panel and tied a bow on the side. I adhered the layered panel on a Bumblebee card base with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set in Cinnamon Cider ink on a Whisper White strip. I stamped the flower in Bumblebee and the leaf branch in Just Jade. I trimmed the ends of the strip with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I added three Just Jade enamel dots to finish off the card front.

I stamped the leaf branch in Just Jade ink and the flower in Bumblebee ink on a Whisper White panel. I adhered the panel to a Just Jade mat and then to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Lovely You bundle includes 18 cling stamps with kind-hearted messages and simple floral designs. This bundle also offers a six-in-one punch tool! Offering two designs, three widths, and any length, you can layer multiple widths of the same design for simply seamless coordination. With heartfelt greetings and dimensional pieces, the Lovely You Bundle will inspire you to create cherished, custom cards to send your friends and family.

Stampin’ Up! Lovely You with Wreath Builder Dies for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! It’s been such a hectic and fun week with the new catalog opening and organizing my new products. But I just love the new In Colors and there are so many fantastic new bundles.

We have a sketch challenge this week, and here is the card sketch we are using:

I started with a strip of the pretty Playing with Patterns 6×6 designer series paper and adhered it to a Night of Navy mat. I embossed a panel of the new In Color Just Jade card stock with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Just Jade card base. I adhered the matted Playing with Patterns DSP to the center of the card front. The DSP has Coastal Cabana stripes, but it really goes well with the Just Jade – I was surprised!

I cut the leaf wreath from the Stampin’ Up! Wreath Builder Die set from Just Jade and Vellum card stocks. I used a die from the Layering Circles Dies to cut a circle from Whisper White card stock and stamped the smile sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set in Night of Navy ink in the center of the circle. I layered the Just Jade wreath on the Vellum wreath and adhered them with liquid glue. I adhered the circle to the back of the the wreaths with liquid glue on the inside leaves and then I adhered the layered wreath to the card front.

Next came the fun part – I cut sets of flowers using the flower dies from the Stampin’ Up! Wreath Builder dies from Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry and Magenta Madness card stock. I also cut the bow from Night of Navy card stock. I adhered a large rhinestone gem to the center of the bow and adhered the bow to the bottom of the wreath with a glue dot. I adhered rhinestone gems to the center of each flower using the medium gems for the large flower and small gems to the small flower. I arranged the flowers around the wreath, adhering them with glue dots.

The inside of the card is is plain, I just added a strip of the Playing with Patterns DSP to the bottom of a Whisper White panel and adhered it to the inside of the card. This leaves plenty of room for writing a cheerful note to brighten a friend’s day.

I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it here if you prefer.

I started by stamping the the flowers and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You cling stamp set on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the big flower in Balmy Blue three times, the small buds in So Saffron three times and the leaf cluster in Soft Sea Foam three times. I stamped the long leaf branch in Granny Apple Green twice over the So Saffron Leaves and finished by stamping the 5 petal flower in Melon Mambo three times. I adhered the stamped panel to a Melon Mambo mat and wrapped it in Whisper White Bakers twine twice before tying a bow.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set in Balmy Blue ink on a strip of Whisper White card stock. I trimmed the ends with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. I trimmed the ends of a strip of Balmy Blue card stock with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch and adhered the stamped label on top with dimensionals. I used dimensionals to adhere the label over the twine on the stamped panel. I adhered the layered, stamped panel to a Balmy Blue card base with dimensionals.

I finished the card front with a Melon Mambo butterfly that was die cut using the Nature’s Thoughts butterfly die.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers and leaves in the same colors as the front on the lower left corner of a Whisper White card stock panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Lovely You bundle has sweet sentiments and great solid image floral stamps, so great that it made the cover of the new catalog! And the punch is definitely a must have! You can get yours when the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog goes live on June 3. Two more days – I can’t wait!! 😊

Stampin’ Up! Lovely You Bundle Sneak Peek

Good Morning! Today I have a sneak peek of a wonderful new bundle from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog that will be available on June 3. The bundle is the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You bundle and it consists of the Lovely You cling stamp set and fun Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. You can find the sizes of cardstock used at the bottom of my post.

I used the new 2020-2021 In Color Misty Moonlight for my card base and I used a Misty Moonlight floral patterned card from the Flowers for Every Season Memories and More card pack (available June3) for the background. Since this is a 4″ x 6″ card, I cut it at 4″ x 5-1/4″ and used the bottom to trim the inside.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Lovely You stamp set (available June 3) on a 3/4″ strip of Whisper White in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. This stamp set has a bunch of sweet sentiments in a really sweet font along with some solid stamp floral images. Then I punched the ends of the strip with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (available June 3). This is the coolest punch because you can get 6 different ends – 2 designs with 3 sizes each! It’s perfect for creating labels because you can easily customize the length and you can create a layered label like I did here. The label background is cut from a 1″ strip of the Misty Moonlight 2020-2021 In Color designer series paper (available June 3) that is 1/4″ longer than the Whisper White strip.

I adhered the two labels together with multipurpose liquid glue and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I punched a small butterfly using the Butterfly Duet Punch, trimmed it with rhinestones and adhered it to the label with a glue dot.

I adhered the leftover strip of the Flowers for Every Season Memories and More card pack (available June3) to the bottom of a Whisper White panel. I punched another butterfly for the upper corner and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This is just a simple sneak peek of some of the new products in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog that will be available on June 3. I’ll be getting catalogs for my customers on Friday and send them out on Monday. If you are interested in getting one, head to my Online Store to place an order and I will send you one too.
