Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Miss You Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I have a whimsical miss you card to brighten your day using the sweet Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp bundle along with the Well Written Dies.

We have a color challenge this week, and here is the bright, fun color palette we are using:

My card also fits with the current challenge at TGIF Challenges – #TGIFC261- Use Your Words. Check it out – it’s a fun challenge and the cards are so cute.

I adhered a panel of the Daffodil Delight sprinkles paper from the Birthday Bonanza designer series paper pack to a Grapefruit Grove mat and then to a thick Whisper White card base with multipurpose liquid glue. I cut a panel of Whisper White with a Stitched So Sweetly Dies scalloped rectangle and embossed it with the Scripty embossing folder. I adhered it to the card front with multipurpose liquid glue.

I stamped 9 three petal flower clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence photopolymer stamp set in VersaMark Ink on the Grapefruit Grove starburst paper from the Birthday Bonanza DSP pack. I sprinkled them with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heat set until shiny and punched them out with the Perennial Flower Punch. I gently curved the petals with my fingers and made three flowers by adhering the centers with multipurpose liquid glue – each flower has three sets of petals. I added a fun, fuzzy Perennial Essence Floral Center to each flower. I stamped 6 leaf clusters from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set using Bermuda Bay ink on the Bermuda Bay confetti paper from the Birthday Bonanza DSP pack and punched them out with the Leaf Punch.

I cut out the sentiment from Bermuda Bay card stock using the Well Written Dies. I also cut two Well Written Dies butterflies from Daffodil Delight card stock. With all the pieces cut out, I arranged them on the card front and started assembly by adhering the Bermuda Bay words with multipurpose liquid glue – Don’t lose the tiny dot for the ‘I’! I adhered the leaves with multipurpose liquid glue and the flowers with glue dots. Lastly, I adhere a little butterfly and finished it off with Calypso Coral enamel dots.

I adhered the second butterfly to the top corner of a Whisper White panel and added the strip of Daffodil Delight DSP. I adhered the decorated panel to a Grapefruit Grove mat and then to the inside of the card.

What do you think of stamping on the designer series paper? It’s a little different, giving a little extra texture to the flowers and leaves. Too bad I didn’t die cut the butterflies from the Daffodil Delight sprinkle paper – next time.

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence with Positive Thoughts Hugs Card

Good Morning! Today’s card mixes the florals from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set with the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Positive Thoughts stamp set showing how easily you can mix elements from the Annual Catalog with the Mini Catalog. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Cut a panel of Pear Pizzazz card stock and run it through the Scripty embossing folder. Adhere it to a panel of Perennial Essence designer series paper and then to a Pretty Peacock card base. Punch two leaf clusters from Pear Pizzazz card stock with the Leaf punch and adhere them to the card. Fold a length of linen ribbon and adhere it to the card front with glue dots. Trim the ends of the ribbon.

Stamp two of the 3-petal stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set with Versamark Ink on So Saffron Vellum. Sprinkle it with white embossing powder and heat set until it becomes shiny. Punch them out with the Perennial Flower punch. Punch two additional petal clusters from the So Saffron vellum. Adhere the petal clusters together with glue dots, arranging them so that the two embossed ones are on top and the petal tips are offset. Top with a Perennial Essence floral center

Adhere the flower to the card with dimensionals. Stamp the Hugs sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a strip of Sahara Sand card stock. Cut it out with the die from the Ornate Frames dies. Adhere the label to the card with glue dots. Finish with three Woven Threads Sequins.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts stamp set in Pretty Peacock ink on a Whisper White panel. Adhere a strip of the Perennial Essence designer series paper to the bottom and adhere the panel to the inside of the card.

Now I have to make a confession – my card is CASE’d (copy and selectively edit) from a similar card in the Annual Catalog. I used a different embossing folder and ribbon, and I decided to use the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts stamp set for the sentiments, so it’s a little different. But it shows how you can use the pretty projects in the catalogs for inspiration – and there are lots of them!

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Hello Card for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I hope you’re enjoying everyone’s projects and I’m sure everyone loved your handmade Christmas Cards! While we’re awaiting the launch of the new Mini Catalog on January 3, I thought I would return to some old favorites for a Hello Card for today’s Hop. Here is my card:

We have a color challenge this week, and here is the color pallette we are using:

I started by stamping six flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set in Rococo Rose on Very Vanilla Card Stock. I punched them out with the Perennial Flower Punch and curled the petals with my bone folder. I adhered the centers of two petal clusters to make three flowers and added a Perennial Essence floral center to each. I punched 5 leaf clusters from Old Olive vellum using the Leaf punch.

I adhered a panel of the wood grain paper from the Pressed Petals specialty designer series paper to a very vanilla mat. I adhered a strip of the floral Pressed Petals paper to a soft suede mat and adhered it to the wood grained panel background. I stamped the hello sentiment from the A Little Lace stamp set using Rococo Rose ink on a strip of Very Vanilla and trimmed the end before adhering it to the panel.

I arranged the vellum leaves and flowers on the panel and adhered it with glue dots. I made a bow from the Very Vanilla scalloped lace trim and adhered it next to the flowers. I adhered the decorated panel to a Rococo Rose card base using dimensionals.

I kept the inside of the card simple and only decorated it by adhering a strip of the floral Pressed Petals DSP to the bottom of a Very Vanilla panel and adhering to the inside of the card. This leaves plenty of room to write a personal hello message!

I can’t wait to mix up these flowers with some of the new items in the upcoming Mini Catalog!

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Beautiful Day Card

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a video that I did yesterday during my Sunday Facebook Live session. At Stampin’ Up! On Stage last month, we made a beautiful card using products from the Peaceful Poppies Suite – the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper with the Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moment stamp sets. Today I am recreating the card using the same sketch but using currently available products – the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set with the Perennial Essence designer series paper. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here’s the Facebook Live video showing how to make this beautiful card:

I also posted the video to my YouTube channel and you can view it here.

Here is the example card from On Stage in Poppy Parade with the card from the video in Balmy Blue.

I started by stamping the line flower image and leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set using Balmy Blue ink on the front of a Balmy Blue card base. I adhered the green Perennial Essence DSP with snail at an angle. I adhered the floral Perennial Essence DSP on top of it, but slightly offset. I stamped the sentiment on a panel of Whisper White and tore the bottom. I wrapped it in Mossy Meadow Linen Thread and added a bow and popped it on the card with dimensionals. I finished off the front with three rhinestones.

I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set around the edge of a Whisper White panel using Balmy Blue ink. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with snail.

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Thank You Card

Good Morning! I hope you had a great weekend! Today I have a Floral Thank You card made with the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Photopolymer stamp set. I was inspired by the colors and theme in the Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #322.

I just love these colors – they are so elegant and kind of old fashioned! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

So here’s my card. I started by running a panel of Rococo Rose cardstock through the Tin Tile embossing folder and adhering it to a Blackberry Bliss mat. I took a piece of Raspberry Ripple grosgrain ripple ribbon from my stash and wrapped it around the bottom, securing it in the back. I embossed the Thanks sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set using silver embossing powder on a strip of the Petal Pink vellum from the Perennial Essence vellum cardstock and adhered it over the ribbon.

I then worked on the flower bouquet. I stamped two of the solid flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence stamp set in Blackberry Bliss and one in Flirty Flamingo on Whisper White cardstock. I stamped one of the small solid flowers in Flirty Flamingo and one in Blackberry Bliss (for the inside of the card) on Whisper White cardstock. I then fussy cut all the flowers. I stamped four sets of the the leaves in Smoky Slate ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched them out with the leaf punch (much easier than fussy cutting!).

I stamped centers for the flowers in Versamark ink on Whisper White and embossed them in Silver. I fussy cut them and adhered them to the flowers using liquid glue. I then arranged the leaves and Flirty Flamingo flowers on the card front panel and adhered them with liquid glue. I adhered the two large Blackberry Bliss flowers together to make a larger flower and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card front with three frosted epoxy drops and popped the panel on a Gray Granite card base with dimensionals.

I decorated the inside of the card by stamping another leaf branch in Smoky Slate ink on a panel of Whisper White and adhered the last Blackberry Bliss flower over it. I then added Rococo Rose and Blackberry Bliss mats and adhered it to the inside of the card with liquid glue.

I hope you liked my card for today. Thanks for visiting and have a great week!

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Beautiful Day Card

Good Friday Morning! Today’s card uses the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence photopolymer stamp set to make a special card for someone special. I paired it with the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper or DSP for a rich, elegant look. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by cutting a panel of the beautiful Perennial Essence DSP and adhering it to a Whisper White mat before attaching it to a Pretty Peacock Card Base. I took a piece of Whisper White and ran it through the stitched Lace dies, first the large panel, and then the smaller trim dies on either side so that I ended up with a faux lace ribbon that I attached to the DSP.

I then die cut a Blackberry Bliss frame using the largest square from the Stitched Shapes dies and the third smallest Layering Squares die. I took a piece of vellum cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Floral Essence photopolymer stamp set in Pretty Peacock. I waited for it to dry and then attached the vellum to the back of the frame and attached the frame to the card with mini dimensionals. The vellum is nice because you can kind of see the DSP behind it.

I then stamped two of the large solid flowers in Flirty Flamingo on Whisper White. I fussy cut them and turned the bottom one upside down before attaching it to the top one with multipurpose liquid glue. This makes the flower larger and I’m surprised at how good it looks. I stamped the coordinating center in Blackberry Bliss on Whisper White and adhered it to the flower center.

I used the leaf punch and punched two leaf clusters from Old Olive cardstock and two leaf clusters from Old Olive vellum cardstock. I arranged the leaves behind the flower with three strips of Very Vanilla scalloped lace trim and adhered it to the card. I finished off the flower with some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle.

I decorated the inside of the card by adding a Blackberry Bliss mat to a Whisper White panel and adhering it to the card. I added another leaf branch cut from Old Olive vellum and a Flirty Flamingo stamped and fussy cut small flower with a Blackberry Bliss center.

The Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence DSP has beautiful impressionist flowers and every card made with it looks like it belongs in a museum. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
