Stampin’ Up! Field Journal for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! For today’s hop, I used the cute little chipmunk from the Stampin’ Up Field Journal cling stamp set to make a rustic thank you card, pairing it with the Poinsettia Place designer series paper and the Beautiful Boughs Dies. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a sketch challenge this week, and here is the pretty sketch we are using for our projects:

Adhere a panel of the wood grained Poinsettia Place designer series paper to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. Cut a panel of the pinecone paper from the Poinsettia Place designer series paper with the Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhere it to a Garden Green mat. Adhere the layered panel to the card front with dimensionals.

Cut out the medium bough from the Beautiful Boughs dies from Garden Green card stock. Cut out the pine cones – two detailed small pinecones from Soft Suede and two solid pinecones from Crumb Cake. Adhere the pinecones together and adhere the bough and layered pinecones to the lower corner of the panel. Stamp the chipmunk, plant and sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. Cut it out with the large oval die from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

Color the images from the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set using Stampin Blends – Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake, Bronze, Old Olive, Rococo Rose, and Soft Suede. Cut out the largest scalloped oval die from the Layering Ovals Dies from Soft Suede card stock. Adhere the stamped image to the scalloped oval and adhere it to the card front with dimensionals. Finish the card front with a braided linen bow.

Stamp the plant and sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. Adhere the panel to a Garden Green mat and adhere it to the inside of the card.

The nature images from the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set are great for making cards for many different occasions. And they are a perfect when paired with the Poinsettia Place rustic nature papers, which are currently on sale this month at a 15% discount!

Stampin’ Up! Field Journal Birthday Card

Good Morning! Today I have a simple masculine birthday card made with the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal Cling stamp set. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the duck from the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. I cut it out with the largest stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies. I colored it with Bermuda Bay, Cinnamon Cider, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends. I colored the ground with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and the background with Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.

I embossed a panel of Mossy Meadow card stock with the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder. I adhered an antique corner to each corner with a glue dot. I adhered a panel of World of Good specialty designer series paper to an Early Espresso mat. I adhered a strip of In Good Taste designer series paper on top.

I adhered the embossed Mossy Meadow panel on the layered DSP panel and popped the art panel on top with dimensionals. I popped the panel on the front of a Crumb Cake card base.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Pallet Thoughts cling stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the plant from the Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set in Crumb Cake ink after stamping off twice. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of World of Good DSP to the bottom and adhered it to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Field Journal stamp set is like a walk in the woods. The pretty line drawn images are great for coloring and would make a great card for any nature lover.
