Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Season of Thanks Card

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing another card made with the wonderful Stampin’ Up! Gather Together photopolymer stamp set. This set has been my go to for fall cards and with the Come to Gather Designer Series paper, beautiful fall cards are so easy to put together. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a panel of the Merry Merlot maple leaf paper from the Come To Gather DSP pack and adhered it to a Cajun Craze card base. Then I took a panel of the wood panelling paper and adhered it to the bottom. I stamped the large maple leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Gather Together stamp set in Early Espresso ink on Very Vanilla and die cut it with the coordinating die. I colored it with Old Olive, Cajun Craze and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends.

I stamped the pumpkins in Cajun Craze ink on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut the out with the coordinating dies. I colored the stems with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and the pumpkins themselves with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. I then die cut the other two leaves from Old Olive and Cajun Craze cardstock. I adhered the smaller leaves to the card front with liquid glue and the large leaf and pumpkins with dimensionals.

I stamped the Season of Thanks sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gather Together stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Cajun Craze card stock. I used the large label from the Merry Christmas dies to cut it out. I arranged the die on the left side and cut it out, leaving a large space on the right. I moved the die to make the left side the same size as the right and ran it through the die cutting machine again to get a shorter label that matched the greeting. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals. I made a bow with the bride copper trim and attached it to the card front with glue dots.

I stamped the maple leaf in Cajun Craze ink on a panel of Very Vanilla card stock after stamping it off 4 times. I added a strip of the same maple leaf DSP to the bottom of the panel and attached it to the inside of the card.

Thanks for visiting!

Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Fall Thank You Card

Good Morning! Boy, I’m really on a roll with the new Stampin’ Up! Gather Together bundle. I’ve made about 1/2 dozen different designs for classes and tutorials as well as this blog. I think it’s because we’re in the season and the bundle and papers are so pretty and versatile. This card is a Thank You card that combines the Gather Together bundle with the Well Written dies.

This is a card that I designed for my Cardmaking 101 video series on Facebook. It’s the first time I’ve introduced die cuts in the series and these are the perfect sets to introduce this wonderful technique. Here is the card. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

And here is a link to the how-to video that I shared earlier on Facebook Live. Instructions for creating the card are in the video. I apologize ahead of time for it being so long – my goal is to improve each video in both production and instructional quality.

I intend to set up a YouTube channel in the near future so you can view my videos there as well, but I’m still learning how to set this up, so for now I am only on Facebook and here.

Here’s a closeup of the card front details:

Thanks for visiting and watching. Have a great weekend!

Stampin’ Up! Gather Together Autumn Wishes Card

Happy September! I hope you are having a wonderful, relaxing Labor Day Weekend. Today’s card welcomes the Fall season with warm wishes. It is made with the new Stampin’ Up! Gather Together photopolymer stamp set that is in the new 2019 Holiday Catalog and will be available on Sept 4! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

The inspiration for the layout of the card is CAS(E) this Sketch #337. It’s a great layout for using different DSPs in combination with stamped images. Check it out!

For today’s card, I wanted to show off some of the pretty fall designs in the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper that is in the new 2019 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. So I started by cutting the polka dot paper and mounting it on an Early Espresso mat. I Added the Pretty Peacock feather strip and set it aside to work on the die cuts.

For the large maple leaf, I sponged a Whisper White panel with Cajun Craze, Pear Pizzazz and Sahara Sand inks so that the leaf would have a mottled look like it was starting to turn color. I then stamped the large leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Gather Together stamp set in Early Espresso and cut it out with the coordinating Gathered Leaves die. Then I took a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and lightly misted it and cut it out with the large three lobed maple leaf leaf die. I did the same to a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock and cut it with the small 5 lobed maple leaf die. The solid dies in the Gathered Leaves dies makes a two toned die cut when the paper is wet. It’s pretty neat isn’t it!

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Gathered Together stamp set in Pretty Peacock. I stamped the wheat sheaf in Early Espresso after stamping off twice. I cut it out with one of the circle dies from the Layering Circles dies and backed it with Pretty Peacock cut in one of the scalloped circles from the Layering Circles dies. I added two small Pretty Peacock faceted gems to the label. I arranged the leaves on the DSP background panel and attached them with glue dots and added the label with dimensionals. I finished it off with a bow made with the braided linen trim. I adhered the panel to the front of a Sahara Sand card base with dimensionals.

I adhered a strip of the polka dot paper from the Come to Gather DSP to the left side of a Whisper White panel and stamped the wheat from the Stampin’ Up! Gathered Together stamp set in Early Espresso in the center of the panel after stamping off twice. I adhered it to an Early Espresso mat and attached it to the inside of the card.

Are you ready for Fall? School has started for the children in my neighborhood and some of the leaves on the trees have started turning. So it’s here whether I’m ready or not. The Gathered Together stamp set and Gathered Leaves dies will be available as a bundle in the 2019 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog for a 10% discount. And it will be available on September 4th – just two days away! Yay!! I hope you liked today’s card. Thanks for visiting and have a great week!
