Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I’m using one of my all time favorite bundles for today’s card – the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle! It’s great that this bundle has been brought back for the Savings In Bloom! sale this month and I paired it with the exclusive Waves of the Ocean designer series paper for a card perfect for today. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a Sketch Challenge this week and here’s the fun sketch we are using:

I embossed a Pacific Point panel with the Hive 3D embossing folder and trimmed it to 4″ x 5-1/4″ (note that this is a folder that will shrink, so I cut the panel to size after embossing). I adhered the embossed panel to the front of a Pacific Point card base with liquid glue.

I adhered the pretty foil and DSP strips to the card front with liquid glue. I cut the Daffodil Delight panels with the solid and detailed large sunflower dies from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle. I cut a panel of Waves of the Ocean DSP with the solid sunflower die and adhered it to the Daffodil Delight die cut. I cut the daffodil center from the Waves of the Ocean DSP and adhered it to the center before adhering the detailed die cut on top with dimensionals.

I decorated the center of the daffodil with iridescent gemstones and adhered the flower to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card with a little bumblebee trinket.

For the inside, I stamped the large sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Daffodil Delight ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Pacific Point and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle is so beautiful and goes well with the Waves of the Ocean designer series paper. And it’s perfect for today!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I made a brightly colored, kind of busy floral card with a little butterfly today using the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle. I also used the pretty retiring Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ designer series paper, and it shows off all the pretty detailed die cuts. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a theme challenge this week and here is the theme we are using. So while I got to use the pretty Sunflower, I had to have a pretty little butterfly visiting it, looking for some sweet nectar.

And my card was also inspired by the sketch challenge in the As You See It Challenge #248. Here is the sketch:

I adhered a panel of Poppy Parade wood grain paper from the Brights 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack to the front of a Poppy Parade card base. I used the third largest Stitched Rectangle die to cut a multicolor floral panel from the Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack and adhered it to the card front. I used a Just Jade floral panel to cut three Just Jade leaves and adhered three Just Jade card stock die cuts using the detailed leaves dies from the Sunflowers dies from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle.

I cut a Bumblebee floral panel from the Flowers for Every Season DSP pack using the outline sunflower die. I cut the detailed sunflower die from a So Saffron panel. I cut the small flower center from So Saffron and cut the center of the large detailed Sunflower from bumblebee. I trimmed off the Bumble strands and adhered it to the So Saffron detailed die cut and adhered the small center to the solid DSP flower. Then I popped the detailed die cut on top with dimensionals. I die cut the detailed butterfly from Misty Moonlight and used a Misty Moonlight floral paper from the Flowers for Every Season DSP pack to cut the backing butterfly. I adhered the two butterflies with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set using Versamark ink on a Poppy Parade strip. I Sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set until shiny. I cut it out with the long stitched rectangle die from the Ornate Layers dies and adhered it to the card with dimensionals. I adhered the leaves to the card front with glue dots and then adhered the flower with glue dots. I adhered the little butterfly to the flower with glue dots and added a Misty Moonlight enamel dot. I added a Bumblebee enamel dot to the label and finished the card with white baker’s twine and Bumblebee ghigham bows!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in stamped off Bumblebee in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the little butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set in stamped off Misty Moonlight in another corner and trimmed the bottom with a strip of the multicolor floral Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers is a beautiful bundle that I use a lot! And the beautiful Butterfly Brilliance bundle has the perfect butterfly for every need. These two bundles go together beautifully!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Ombre Thank You Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing another beautiful card made with the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set that I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial yesterday afternoon. Instead of using the wonderful dies, I just used the gorgeous large sunflower stamp and paired it with an ombre technique with some touches of gold. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I will also edit the video and post a concise tutorial on my YouTube Channel, so look for that soon. The edited video has been posted on my YouTube Channel and you can find it here.

I stamped three of the large sunflowers from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Whisper White panel. Using the sponge brayer, I colored the panel starting with Cajun Craze on the bottom and adding in Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee and So Saffron inks. I colored the darkest colors on the bottom and the lightest color on top, overlapping the colors as I went. I also used the sponge brayer to add So Saffron ink to the Whisper White label. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the label. I adhered the label to the flower panel and adhered the panel to a gold foil mat.

I wrapped gold trim around the panel just above the label, making a bow, and finished the panel with three gold metallic pearls. I adhered the dark woodgrain In Good Taste designer series paper to the front of an early Espresso card base and popped the flower panel on top with dimensionals.

I stamped another sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Early Espresso ink in the corner of a Whisper White panel. I added some Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Bumblebee ink with the sponge brayer and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

The soft touches of gold with the dark wood grain give the card an elegant look, especially when paired with the beautiful sentiment!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I wanted to use the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle to make a fall card, and the color palette for today’s hop gave me the perfect excuse to pull it out! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a color challenge this week, and here is the color palette we are using. I ended up using all of the colors:

I adhered a strip of the striped paper from the Gilded Autumn specialty designer series paper to a panel of the dark wood grained paper from the In Good Taste designer series paper and then to to a Cajun Craze mat. I popped the layered panel on the front of a Crumb Cake card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the large sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I colored it with Calypso Coral, Cajun Craze and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the coordinating die from the Sunflower Dies. I cut the large lacy sunflower from brushed copper foil and three lacy leaves from Mossy Meadow card stock. I popped the copper die cut to the front of the sunflower and the layered sunflower to the card front with dimensionals. I adhered glue dots to the leaves and slipped them under the flower.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Cajun Craze ink on a Very Vanilla panel and cut it out with the stitched pinked circle from the Tasteful Labels Dies. I adhered it to the card front with Stampin’ Seal and added three champagne rhinestones for a touch of sparkle.

I stamped part of the large sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers in the lower corner of a Very Vanilla panel and added a strip of the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP to the side. I adhered it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I was surprised at how well this color palette goes together. And I love the touch of Cajun Craze with the natural elements – the realistic flower and dark wood.

Stampin’ Up! Stitched Stars Celebrate Card

Good Morning and Happy 4th of July!! I have wanted to make a patriotic card with the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Stars dies since the die set came out last year, and today is the day!! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used Stampin’ Seal to adhere a panel of Playful Pets designer series paper to a Real Red card stock mat. I wrapped length of Real Red satin ribbon around the panel and secured it the back withI Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped a strip of Whisper White card stock with the celebrate sentiment from the Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set using Pacific Point ink. I trimmed the ends with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. I also punched then ends of a Real Red strip and adhered the label to it. Then I used glue dots to adhere the label to the card over the ribbon.

I cut out the stars with the Stampin’ Up! Stitched Stars dies. I adhered the Pacific Point cut-out star to the large Pacific Point stitched star and a Whisper White star to the large Real Red star to add some texture. I added rhinestones to the centers of all the stars and adhered them to the card front with liquid glue and dimensionals.

I adhered a strip of Playful Pets DSP to the side of a Whisper White panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card. I finished off the inside by adhering three additional stars to the upper corner.

Please join me tomorrow at 1:00 ET on my Business Facebook Page for my weekly Facebook Live card making video.

I hope you have a fun and safe 4th of July!

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Let’s Celebrate You Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a Celebrate You card made with the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle that I made during my Facebook Live video tutorial Saturday afternoon. I made a sweet country style card with the fabulous sunflower and dies and I used many of the new In Colors. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it here if you prefer.

I started by cutting out the outline large sunflower and the flower center from the Sunflower Dies with Cinnamon Cider card stock. I stamped the large sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers with Bumblebee ink on Bumblebee card stock and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered the Cinnamon Cider outline flower die cut to the stamped flower with dimensionals along the center rim. I adhered the center on top with dimensionals.

I cut three of the outline leaf die cuts from Shaded Spruce card stock and stamped three large leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set in Just Jade ink on Just Jade card stock. I cut the leaves out with the coordinating die and adhered the Shaded Spruce outline die cuts on top with liquid glue. I cut the two leaf sprig accents from the Sunflowers Dies from Whisper White card stock and began to assemble the card front. I adhered the panel of Flowers for Every Season designer series paper to a Bumblebee mat and then to the center of a Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Color designer series paper panel. I adhered the layered DSP to a Cinnamon Cider card base.

I adhered the layered leaves and Whisper white sprigs to the card front with liquid glue and adhered the sunflower with multipurpose liquid glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in VersaMark Ink on a strip of Misty Moonlight. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and heat set until shiny. I fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it over the flower with glue dots and the DSP panel with dimensionals. I made a bow with the Bumblebee gingham ribbon and attached it with a glue dot and finished the flower center with Cinnamon Cider enamel dots.

I stamped the large sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set in Bumblebee ink on Whisper White after stamping off twice. I adhered a strip of Flowers for Every Season DSP to the bottom of the panel and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with multipurpose liquid glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle is the best sunflower stamp and die set that I have seen. The stamped images are gorgeous with realistic detail and the outline die cut overlay both takes it to the next level by providing dimension and fun.

Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Hugs Card

Good Morning! Today’s card is another sneak peek of a new bundle from the new Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog – the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers bundle. This gorgeous set has the most beautiful sunflower stamps along with the wonderful Sunflower Dies and will be available when the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog opens on June 3, 2020. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden designer series paper to a Bumblebee card base. I created the sunflower by stamping the large sunflower stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers cling stamp set (available June 3) in So Saffron ink on a So Saffron panel. I cut it out with the coordinating die from the Sunflowers Dies (available June 3). I cut out the large outline sunflower die from Bumblebee card stock and adhered it to the stamped flower with small dots of multipurpose liquid glue around the center. I stamped the center of the large sunflower stamp in Soft Suede ink on a small square of Bumble bee card stock and cut it out with the large flower center die. I adhered it to the center of the flower with multipurpose liquid glue. I cut the outline sunflower die on a square of Soft Suede card stock and trimmed off the petal pieced so I just had the center. I adhered it to the center of the flower with dimensionals.

I created the leaves by stamping the large leaf stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set (available June 3) in Old Olive ink on Old Olive card stock. I cut the leaves out with the coordinating die. I cut the outline leaves out of Mossy Meadow card stock using the Sunflowers Dies (available June 3) outline leaf die. I adhered the outline leaves to the stamped leaves with small dots of multipurpose liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set on a Whisper White panel in VersaMark Ink and sprinkled it with gold embossing powder. I heat set the powder until it was shiny and cut it out with the Stitched So Sweetly die. I used the next larger die to cut a panel of the Mint Macaron and gold foil Ornate Garden DSP and adhered the embossed sentiment to it. I adhered it to the bottom of the card with multipurpose liquid glue. I adhered the sunflower to the card with dimensionals and then adhered the leaves with multipurpose liquid glue. I finished the card front with 3 gilded gems.

For the inside, I stamped the large sunflower from the Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers (available June 3) in So Saffron ink on a Whisper White panel after stamping off once. I added a strip of the floral Ornate Garden DSP to the bottom and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

This is my first card with this wonderful new stamp bundle that will be available June 3, and I can’t wait to play with it again!
