Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive with Greetings of the Season Christmas Card and Tags

Good Morning! Here’s a late post with a card and some pretty tags made with the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty designer series paper and the Greetings of the Season bundle.

Here’s a close up of the card using the pretty Christmas Tree from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty DSP. I adhered it to a 3-5/8″ x 5-1/8″ gold foil mat before adhering it to the front of a Real Red 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ CARD BASE (scored at 4-1/4″). So simple, yet beautiful, especially with the gold foil touches on the tree.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on a 3-3/4″ x 5″ Basic White panel and adhered a Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP swag at the bottom.

I really went to town using the die cut tags from the Greetings of the Season! My thought was to layer the tags, pop the A Little Bit Festive cut outs using dimensionals and stamp the greetings using Real Red ink. I also used some retired ruffled Real Red ribbon, Gold Thread and Real Red Baker’s twine. For some of the tags, I loosely tied the loops so that the tags can be separated and swing loosely.

Here are the last two tags. The DSP patterns from the A Little Bit Festive pack layer nicely with Real Red, Pool Party and Basic White card stock. I love the long strip die cuts from the Greetings of the season dies

Just a quick post to show some pretty ideas for Christmas Tags. I don’t have card stock cuts, but I did include some product links at the bottom.

Oh, and I did hang the Rustic Christmas Countdown packets on my window! I made this last year and it ‘s still in pretty good shape! I’m getting ready for Christmas!!

Last Chance Products Now Available!

Retiring products for the current September-December 2024 Mini Catalog are now available in the Last Chance Products category in the Online Store.

Stampin’ Up! is making some changes to their product retirement process. They are introducing a new Last Chance Products category in the Online Store today that will include retiring products from the current 2024 September-December Mini Catalog and Online Exclusives items that are being discontinued. The Last Chance Products category is replacing the current Clearance Rack and will be updated every two months.

Here are the details:

  • Last Chance Products include retiring products from both catalogs and online releases, excluding Paper Pumpkin.
  • Last Chance Products are available while supplies last and will be discontinued when they sell out. Items will be automatically removed from the category and the online store when they are discontinued.
  • Discounts vary and are subject to change. Also, depending on inventory, these products may or may not have discounts.
  • The Last Chance Products category will be updated every other month. Updates happen at the beginning of the month and may include additional products in the category and any adjustments to product discounts.

This change aligns with Stampin’ Up!’s product release strategy of new Online Exclusives every two months and unifies the retirement process for Online Exclusive and Catalog products. The goal is to keep product offerings fresh, trendy and exciting for Stampin’ Up! customers.

Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive Christmas Cards III

Good Morning! Here are a few more quick Christmas cards made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

For the first card (my YUM card), I adhered a cookie filled panel of the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match specialty designer series paper to a Real Red mat and popped it on the front of a Pool Party card base with dimensionals. I used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a large circle and adhered it to the card with liquid glue. I used the Hot Cocoa cut out along with the gingerbread cookies and adhered them with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on Crumb Cake and trimmed the end. I adhered it to a Real Red mat and adhered it with glue dots. I finished the card with peppermints and a double Real Red Baker’s Twine bow.

For the inside of this card I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White and accented it with a little Real Red candy cane from the More Than Autumn stamp set.

For the second card, I embossed a Pool Party panel with the Snowflake Sky 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Pool Party card base. I adhered the tree cut outs from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP with glue dots and popped the present filled sleigh on the card with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on a light pool party panel (I used the new two toned paper from the Scrapbooking brochure – I like the subtle contrast it gives!) and trimmed the end before adhering it to the card with glue dots. And of course I need to add snowflake embellishemnts!

For the inside of this card I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White. I stamped a Pool Party snowflake from the Iconic Imagery stamp set. I think that I used the wrong Basic White panel for my inside because the side margin is a bit wide, but I think it still looks ok.

I’ve made several Christmas cards now with the pretty images from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP and each one has been unique! And I still have lots of pretty cut outs left over as well as plenty of patterned paper. I didn’t pick up any of the ephemera packs with the tags, sentiments and images, but all of these items coordinate and give you even more creative options. So check them out!

The Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match specialty designer series paper makes Christmas crafting so quick and easy and the images are so pretty! It’s a great addition to your Christmas crafting stash!

Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s another super simple Christmas card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match specialty designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a fun theme challenge this week, so I decided to use the pretty wreath to make a book fold card!

After scoring and burnishing the Real Red card base I adhered the left side book bind section together with liquid glue.

I used the pretty Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder to emboss Basic White panels for the two sections of the card front. I adhered the embossed panels to the card with liquid glue. I used my Garden Green Stampin’ Write marker to color the center part of Basic White Frayed ribbon and wrapped it around the book bind edge and tied a knot.

I adhered the pretty holly wreath from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty DSP to the main section with dimensionals. I adhered three triple berries to the wreath to give it some sparkle. And that’s it – so quick and easy!! And a great way to show off the pretty wreath!

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

This is such a pretty holly wreath from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive Mix & Match specialty DSP pack and I wanted to let it stand on it’s own against a simple textured Basic White background. And the bow from the DSP pack is perfect with the wreath, so I didn’t want to make another one with ribbon. I hope you’re inspired to check out the new Mix & Match items. This DSP pack is expected to be restocked next week and it coordinates with the Christmas Ephemera packs. They’re great for quick and easy Christmas crafting of any kind!

Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive Christmas Cards II

Happy Saturday Morning! Here are a few more quick Christmas cards made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty designer series paper. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

For both of these cards, I started by adhering the panels of the pretty Christmas tree boughs design from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty DSP to the front of Real Red card bases and adhered the striped panels across the middle.

For the first card, I wrapped a length of Real Red ribbon (Real Red ribbon is currently on discount in the Clearance Rack – Yay!!) around the card top and made a bow on the side. I embossed a Basic White panel with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Real Red mat. I popped the embossed panel on the card and popped a pretty Christmas Tree cut-out from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty DSP pack on top. I decorated the tree with Regal Foil Dots and a star.

For the inside of this card I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White and trimmed the bottom with DSP.

For the second card, I used the Spotlight on Nature die to cut a circle and adhered it to the card. I adhered the pinecone bough from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty DSP to the card. I gold embossed the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set on real red and cut them out with the fishtail end of the banner tag. I adhered the label to the card and popped the ornament cut-out over the end. I finished with a gold bow and added gold faceted dots to the ornament and pinecone.

For the inside of this card I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White. I trimmed the bottom with DSP and adhered another ornament cut-out from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty DSP.

It’s so quick and easy to make Christmas cards with the pretty Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty designer series paper. The cut-outs coordinate perfectly with the pretty patterned papers and other Stampin’ Up! card card stock and inks. And the touches of gold foil in the cut-outs make them extra special!

Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive Christmas Cards

Good Morning! One of the fun new items in the new Mini Catalog is the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive specialty designer series paper. This is a fun Christmas themed pack of paper with three sheets of double sided DSP and three sheets of holiday cut outs. I have combined it with the Greetings of the Season bundle, and card stock, dies and embellishments from my stash to make three quick Christmas Cards. You can find the products I used at the bottom of my post along with the card stock sizes.

The first card uses the Night of Navy gingham paper as the background – I adhered it to a Night of Navy mat and popped it onto a Thick Basic White card base. I cut the large tag from the Greetings of the Season dies, looped Real Red baker’s twine through the hold and adhered it to the card. I adhered the presents and teddy bear cut outs from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP to the tag. I stamped the sentiments from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Night of Navy ink and cut it out with the banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies. Before adhering the label to the card, I adhered some glittered night of Navy ribbon to the back and finished the front with peppermint drops.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Real Red on Basic White, adhered a holly cut out from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP to the corner along with some gingham trim. I adhered the panel to a Night of Navy mat before adhering it to the inside of the card.

For the second card, I used the pretty poinsettia cut outs from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP pack. I embossed a Real Red panel with the pretty Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Thick Basic White card base. I adhered the large poinsettias to the card and stamped the sentiment using Garden Green on a strip of Basic White. I trimmed the end and adhered it to the card. I made a gold bow and adhered it with the small poinsettia cut out on top. I finished the card with lots of gold faceted gems.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in Garden Green on Basic White. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card and adhered a Real Red ribbon cut out from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP pack to the corner

For the last card today, I used the ornament panel from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP pack. I simply adhered it to a Real Red mat before adhering it to a Basic Beige card base. I used gold embossing for the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set and cut it out with the small banner die from the Nested essentials dies. I adhered a little gold bow to the top and adhered faceted gold gems to the label and each ornament.

For the inside of this card, I stamped the sentiment from the Greetings of the Season stamp set using Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I decorated the bottom with a pine sprig and ornament cutouts from the Stampin’ Up! A Little Bit Festive DSP pack before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up A Little Bit Festive cut outs do coordinate with the Holiday ephemera packs, so you can use them together. I stamped all my sentiments, but you could also use the sentiments from the Joyful Sayings ephemera pack (item 164109, $9.50) and save even more time. The full sheet DSP patterns are pretty and the cut outs are great for cards like these, tags and scrapbooking, so it’s a versatile pack!
