Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets Sneak Peek

Good Morning! You’ve heard about the upcoming Fitting Florets promotion and I finally got mine this week and here is my first sneak peek. The beautiful Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets bundle is an early release from the upcoming 2022 January-June Mini Catalog and I’ve used it along with the Fitting Florets designer series paper for a special day card. You can find the currently available supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the small floral Fitting Florets DSP to the top of a Basic White panel and adhered a Balmy Blue panel of the DSP to the bottom. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets photopolymer stamp set in Evening Evergreen on a Basic White panel in the upper corner of the oval. I cut it out with the slotted oval frame – don’t throw away the frame!

I used the same frame die from the Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets dies to cut a Balmy Blue frame and adhered it to the layered DSP panel with dimensionals (my half dimensionals fit perfectly!). I adhered the sentiment oval to the panel with liquid glue, centering it in the popped up frame. I cut three leaves from Evening Evergreen and adhered them to the panel with dots of liquid glue

I cut a Polished Pink floral cluster from the large floral panel of Fitting Florets DSP with the coordinating Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets die and adhered it to the layered panel with dimensionals and glue dots. I made a double bow from white crinkle ribbon and adhered it to the bottom with a glue dot. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Polished Pink card base with dimensionals and finished it with three iridescent pearls.

For the inside of the card, I inked up the floral cluster stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets stamp set in Melon Mambo ink and stamped off twice before stamping on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment over the floral cluster in Evening Evergreen ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Fitting Florets DSP before adhering it to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The beautiful Stampin’ Up! Framed Florets bundle is sure to be a favorite with all the floral images and gorgeous oval dies. The coordinating Fitting Florets DSP is an exclusive that will only be available during this promotion. I love that it’s got a pretty image that coordinates with a die, but there’s also several patterns that are great for Holiday cards, so it’s also perfect for this busy season and I love floral Christmas cards too! Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour Card

Good Morning! Have you seen the pretty Design A Daydream Host designer series paper? It’s a huge pack of 12″ x 12″ designer series paper that you can only purchase with Host Dollars that you earn with orders or a party with sales of $150 or more. I paired it with the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour photopolymer stamp set for a friendship card to celebrate any special occasion or achievement. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Design a Daydream designer series paper to the front of a Blushing Bride card base with liquid glue. I adhered a striped strip of the DSP to the card front and then a floral panel overlapping it.

I adhered another panel of Design a Daydream DSP to a Blackberry Bliss mat and stamped the large flower and stem from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour stamp set in Old Olive on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower stamp with Blushing Bride and cut the image out with the coordinating die from the Scalloped Contours dies. I adhered the die cut flower to the layered DSP with dimensionals and a glue dot on the stem. I adhered the panel to the card front with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour stamp set in Blackberry Bliss on Blushing Bride and adhered it to the card front with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the card front with Blushing Bride faceted dots and a bow.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour stamp set in Blackberry Bliss on a Basic White panel. I stamped the bud outline in Old Olive and the bud in Blushing Bride. I trimmed the side of the panel with a strip of Design a Daydream DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The floral panel in the Design a Daydream DSP pack is pretty with Blackberry Bliss, Daffodil Delight and Petal Pink flowers. And they go really nice with the abstract flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour bundle.

Join me for a Facebook Live this Afternoon!

I’m planning to go live on my Facebook Page at 1:00 ET this afternoon to make another card using the Design a Daydream Host designer series paper. Join me as I use it with the Sweet Songbirds bundle create a fun fold card. Look forward to seeing you then!

Stampin’ Up! Hey Chick Happy Day Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Hey Chick is a cute cling stamp set that came out for a short time a couple of years ago. And it was brought back this spring as a bundle with the cutest set of coordinating dies! But it will only be available until the end of this month, so I wanted to make a card with it before it’s gone. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I embossed a Crumb Cake panel with the new Bark 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Crumb cake card base with liquid glue. I wrapped the card front with a length of Bumblebee gingham ribbon and tied a knot on the side. I cut the henhouse from the Chick dies from Crumb Cake and adhered it to the card front with glue dots.

I cut the largest circle from the Layering Circles dies and colored a background with Crumb Cake, Garden Green. Balmy Blue and Pacific Point inks using my Blending Brushes. I cut the cornstalk and cornhusks from Garden Green and the corn from So Saffron. I adhered the corn to the cornhusks and adhered three of them to the cornstalk before adhering the cornstalk to the circle. I die cut the fence from Smoky Slate and adhered it to the circle over the cornstalk with dots of liquid glue.

I die cut the sign from Soft Suede and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hey Chick stamp set on it in Memento Tuxedo Black. I adhered the sign to the circle with glue dots. I applied some adhesive strip behind a Cinnamon Cider panel and cut the little seeds. I removed the backing from the seeds and adhered them to the circle. I finally stamped the hen from the Stampin’ Up! Hey Chick stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored her with Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. I popped the hen into the scene with dimensionals and popped it all onto the card front with more dimensionals.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little egg from the Stampin’ Up! Hey Chick stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel and colored the little feet with Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends. I stamped the sentiment next to the egg and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.

Isn’t the Stampin’ Up! Hey Chick bundle so cute? The Chick dies are so detailed and make wonderful little farm scenes! The hens are cute too and the sentiments are simple and perfect. So hurry so you can get yours while it’s still available! On another note, the Hey Birthday Chick cling stamp set and coordinating Birthday Chick dies will still be available next month, the bundle pricing with the 10% discount will also end on June 30.

Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Fall Card Video Tutorial

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing a fall card made with the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane stamp set accented with leaves from the Gathered Leaves Dies. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:

I will post an edited version of how I made the card in my YouTube channel later this week so you can view a quickie version.

My card layout uses Freshly Made Sketches 457 – this is a good one, check it out.

Adhere a panel of Plaid Tidings 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of an Early Espresso Card base (don’t forget that the Plaid Tidings DSP is on sale this month! 😊). Stamp the Birch cling background stamp in Early Espresso ink on a Bumblebee panel and emboss it with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder. Adhere it to an Early Espresso mat and pop it on the card front with dimensionals.

Adhere a berry branch from the Forever Gold Laser cut specialty paper to the embossed panel. Cut the Gathered Leaves dies from Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Pear Pizzazz card stock. Adhere the leaves to the card front. Stamp three small daisies from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane stamp set in Bumblebee ink on Bumblebee card stock. Sponge the centers with Cajun Craze ink and sponge Pumpkin Pie ink around the petals, leaving just the tips. Punch out the three petal clusters with the medium daisy punch. Gently bend the petals back on one cluster, back and forward on the second and all forward on the last cluster. Adhere the clusters together with liquid glue.

Cut the center from gold foil using the flower center die from the Poinsettias Dies and adhere it to the middle of the flower. Pop the flower on the card front with a dimensional. Adhere a gold trim bow under the flower. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a strip of Pumpkin Pie and trim the ends. Adhere it to a strip of early Espresso and pop it on the card front with dimensionals. Finish the card front with three Gilded Gems.

Stamp and emboss a strip of Bumblebee card stock to match the front panel and adhere it to the bottom of a Whisper White panel. Cut a small Gathered Leaves Die leaf from Pumpkin Pie and adhere it to the top corner of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane stamp set and the coordinating punches are perfect for creating fall floral cards – just change up the colors to coordinate with your favorite fall designer series paper. This is perfect for birthdays and other occasions when a pumpkin just won’t do.

Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Blooms Enjoy Today Card

Happy Monday! Today I have a feminine card in pink and black with flowers and ribbons made from the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Blooms Photopolymer stamp set. This is a set from the Experience Creativity Projects Beginner’s Brochure and coordinates with the Magnolia Lane suite. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by mounting a panel of the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper with the black background on a Petal Pink mat. I took a strip of Whisper White and ran it through the Pinewood Planks Embossing folder and attaching it to a strip of the Petal Pink and Whisper White striped paper that was cut with the scalloped dies from the Budding Blooms dies. I adhered this to the larger panel and wrapped it with Whisper White baker’s twine and attached it to a Basic Black card base with dimensionals.

I took the full bloom magnolia flower stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Blooms photopolymer stamp set and stamped it on whisper white on a panel of Whisper white using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut it out using one of the circles from the Stitched Shapes dies and colored it using the Petal Pink, Old Olive and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends.

I attached a piece of Basic Black that was cut with a Scalloped circle from the Layering Circles dies to the back of the panel with liquid glue. I attached some Petal Pink Striped Organza Ribbon and some black lace ribbon from my stash (I recommend the Basic Black Scalloped Ribbon from the Holiday catalog as a substitute) to the back of the layered circles and attached it to the card with dimensionals.

Finally I stamped the Enjoy Today sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set using VersaMark ink on a strip of Petal Pink and sprinkled it with black embossing powder and heat set the powder. I added a pearl before attaching it to the card with liquid glue

I decorated the inside of the card with a strip of the same DSP as on the card front and a Petal Pink mat. I stamped the magnolia bud from the Stampin’ Up! Magnolia Blooms stamp set in the corner with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Petal Pink and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.

There you have it – pink and black with flowers and ribbons and a pearl! A mixture of modern and traditional femininity. I hope you enjoy today and the rest of the week as well. Thanks for stopping by!

Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Beautiful Day Card

Good Friday Morning! Today’s card uses the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence photopolymer stamp set to make a special card for someone special. I paired it with the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper or DSP for a rich, elegant look. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by cutting a panel of the beautiful Perennial Essence DSP and adhering it to a Whisper White mat before attaching it to a Pretty Peacock Card Base. I took a piece of Whisper White and ran it through the stitched Lace dies, first the large panel, and then the smaller trim dies on either side so that I ended up with a faux lace ribbon that I attached to the DSP.

I then die cut a Blackberry Bliss frame using the largest square from the Stitched Shapes dies and the third smallest Layering Squares die. I took a piece of vellum cardstock and stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Floral Essence photopolymer stamp set in Pretty Peacock. I waited for it to dry and then attached the vellum to the back of the frame and attached the frame to the card with mini dimensionals. The vellum is nice because you can kind of see the DSP behind it.

I then stamped two of the large solid flowers in Flirty Flamingo on Whisper White. I fussy cut them and turned the bottom one upside down before attaching it to the top one with multipurpose liquid glue. This makes the flower larger and I’m surprised at how good it looks. I stamped the coordinating center in Blackberry Bliss on Whisper White and adhered it to the flower center.

I used the leaf punch and punched two leaf clusters from Old Olive cardstock and two leaf clusters from Old Olive vellum cardstock. I arranged the leaves behind the flower with three strips of Very Vanilla scalloped lace trim and adhered it to the card. I finished off the flower with some Wink of Stella to add some sparkle.

I decorated the inside of the card by adding a Blackberry Bliss mat to a Whisper White panel and adhering it to the card. I added another leaf branch cut from Old Olive vellum and a Flirty Flamingo stamped and fussy cut small flower with a Blackberry Bliss center.

The Stampin’ Up! Perennial Essence DSP has beautiful impressionist flowers and every card made with it looks like it belongs in a museum. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around Special Day Card

Good Morning! Today’s card is a very simple but very elegant special day card using the Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around stamp set and Stitched Labels dies. Coupled with the Country Floral embossing folder, the card comes together quickly and is great for any special occasion. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I ran a piece of Seaside Spray cardstock through the Country Floral embossing folder and adhered it to a white mat before attaching it to a Seaside Spray card base with multipurpose liquid glue.

I took a piece of Thick Whisper white and embossed the Enjoy Your Special Day sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around cling stamp set in silver. I cut it out using the fancy large label from the Stitched Labels die. I made a large bow from the Polka Dot Tulle ribbon and attached it to the bottom of the label with a glue dot and attached the label to the card front with dimensionals. I finished off the card front with three faux pearls.

I decorated the inside of the card by stamping the border from the Stampin’ Up! Stitched All Around stamp set in Seaside Spray on the bottom of a Whisper White panel and attaching it to the inside of the card.

That’s it! This card is embarrassingly simple, but it lets the gorgeous Stampin’ Up! elements do all the talking. The beautiful elegance of the Country floral embossing folder paired with the silver embossed lettering and intricate stitches and curves on the label will make any card special. Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend!
