Good morning! Welcome to the Inkin’ Krew Monthly Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “For The Men/Boys” and I made a card with the Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently stamp set. I love the vintage airships in this stamp set – they’re perfect for masculine cards. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
I stamped the biplane from the Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently cling stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Very Vanilla Panel. I stamped the sentiment in the lower left hand corner, also using Early Espresso ink and adhered the panel to a Soft Suede mat.
I the layered panel to a panel of wood grained In Good Taste designer series paper. I adhered the layered DSP panel to a Soft Suede mat and wrapped a strand of linen thread around the bottom twice tying a knot.
I adhered the panel to the front of a Soft Suede card base with dimensionals and finished off the front with three gold metallic pearls.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the biplane from the Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently stamp set in Sahara Sand ink on a Very Vanilla panel after stamping off. I adhered a strip of the In Good Taste designer series paper to the bottom and stamped the sentiment from the Handsomely Suited stamp set in Early Espresso ink on the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
I love the Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently stamp set – the vintage images are wonderful and the sentiments are great. I think the sentiment I used would be great for expressing encouragement, congratulations and just general well wishes for a young man. There’s also a sentiment for Father’s Day.

Good morning! I hope you all have a great weekend and that all the Moms have a wonderful Mother’s Day tomorrow. Today’s card is kind of for Moms, it’s a baby card made with the Stampin’ Up! Baby Pull Toys cling stamp set and the pretty Snail Mail designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
My card was inspired by the wonderful Mojo Monday 559 sketch:
I adhered a panel of pretty heart Snail Mail designer series paper to the bottom of a Blushing Bride card base. I adhered a skinny strip of Smoky Slate card stock on top of the heart DSP. I adhered a panel of the scribbly Snail Mail DSP to a Real Red mat and popped it on the card front with dimensionals.
I stamped the elephant toy from the Stampin’ Up! Baby Bull Toys stamp set in Basic Gray ink on the Basic White panel and colored it with Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake and Real Red Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the heart in Real Red ink. I stamped the elephant head on another Basic White panel and colored the cheeks with the Petal Pink Stampin’ blend and the rest with light Smoky Slate. I fussy cut the head and adhered it to the elephant body and colored it with clear Wink of Stella, because even a baby girl loves a little bling! I adhered the panel to a Smoky Slate mat and then to a Real Red mat and then adhered it to the card front.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Baby Pull Toys stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a Blushing Bride panel and cut it out with the smallest Taylor Made Tags. I cut another tag from Smoky Slate and adhered them together with a glue dot. I looped a length of white twine through the hole and adhered the tag to the card with dimensionals and a glue dot. I made a quadruple loop bow with Blushing Bride twine and adhered it with a glue dot. I finished the card front with resin hearts.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Baby Pull Toys stamp set in Basic Gray ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped more Real Red hearts next to the sentiment and trimmed the bottom with the heart Snail Mail designer series paper. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
The images from the Stampin’ Up! Baby Pull Toys stamp set are so cute and the sentiments are fantastic! And they’re great for any baby occasion – gender reveal parties, baby showers, births and even baby or toddler birthdays! Definitely a stamp set that you will use for a long time – and don’t you love making baby cards?

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! How are you loving the new Stampin’ Up! 2021-2022 Annual Catalog? Today’s card is made with the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet bundle from the Jan-Jun Mini Catalog, but it does use all the new 2021-2023 In Colors! And it celebrates Mother’s Day because you have to give flowers for Mother’s Day! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
We have a color challenge this week that uses the new 2021 – 2023 In Colors – How Fun!
My card is also inspired by the current challenge at The Card Concept #154 – Happy Mother’s Day. It is a Clean and Layered card that reminds me of the beautiful bouquet in their Inspiration Picture:
I embossed a panel of Pale Papaya with the Ornate Floral 3D embossing folder and adhered it to the front of a Pale Papaya card base. I cut a panel of the Hand-Penned designer series paper with the largest circle from the Circle Layering dies and cut the largest scalloped circle from Soft Succulent card stock. I adhered these together and adhered them to the card front, leaving the lower left corner free to tuck the label under later.
I stamped the bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet cling stamp set in Evening Evergreen on a Basic White panel and colored the flowers with the Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends. I cut it out with the coordinating die. I also cut the newspaper from Sahara Sand and stamped the newsprint stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on both sides. I folded it along the score lines and secured it on the inside with glue dots. I tucked the flowers inside and adhered them with glue dots. I cut the leaves from Evening Evergreen card stock – one set of broad leaves, one set of long leaves and two of the small curled ferns. I arranged the leaves and flowers on the circle and adhered the leaves with glue dots and the flowers with dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink on a Fresh Freesia panel and cut it out with the die from the Stitched So Sweetly dies. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots, tucking it under the layered circle. I added three 2021-2023 In Color jewels in Polished Pink and used the Pale Papaya jewels in the flower centers. I finished it off with the Pale Papaya bow.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the bouquet form the Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet stamp set in Evening Evergreen ink along the border of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen as well and colored the flowers with the Polished Pink, Pale Papaya and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends like the bouquet on the card front. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
The Stampin’ Up! Wrapped Bouquet is a wonderfully different bundle and I’m really impressed at how easily it goes together with beautiful results. This is a bouquet that will impress any Mother for Mother’s Day!

Good morning! I have always enjoyed making cards with quilt designs and today I use a sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Oval Occasions stamp set on a quilt card. I played with the Stitched Triangles dies and the retiring Peony Garden designer series paper to experiment and come up with a quilt square block for my card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
What do you think? This was a lot of fun and a lot of experimenting, but I’m pretty happy with the result. I started with a square of the speckled Petal Pink Peony Garden designer series paper and adhered strips of Basic White along the right side and top. I cut two of the second smallest right triangles from the Stitched Triangles dies from the floral Peony Garden paper and adhered them to the lower left corner of the panel. I cut 8 of the smallest right triangle from the Stitched Triangles dies and adhered them to the top and side of the panel in the Flying Geese quilt pattern.
I cut the flower from the Pierced Blooms dies and adhered it to the top right corner. I cut a small Pierced Blooms dies flower and adhered it on top. Then I embossed the panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Petal Pink mat to border the square. Then I adhered it to a Basic White panel for another border. I cut the larger pierced flower from Petal Pink and the smaller flower from Basic White and adhered it to the lower left square.
I embossed a Petal Pink panel and adhered it to the front of a Petal Pink card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Oval Occasions stamp set and cut it out with the Messages Die. This is the label that has stitched sides and it was easy to do – just line up the stamped card stock with the label and run it through your die cutting machine. I adhered the label to the back of the quilt panel and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the front with two Elegant Gems on the flowers and a white twine bow.
For the inside of the card, I cut 8 more speckled triangles with the smallest right triangle die and adhered them to the side of a Basic White panel in the Flying Geese pattern. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
I loved the Christmas Quilt bundle that Stampin’ Up! had a few years back! This took more effort, but allowed me to be more creative in coming up with a design! I wanted to incorporate the Pierced Blooms flower dies because they resemble appliqué flowers and the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder gives a fabric-like texture that really adds to the quilted look. What could be nicer than sending a quilt with hugs and kisses?

Good morning! The Stampin’ Up! Oval Occasions bundle has a sweet cling stamp set and a punch that cuts a plain and a scalloped oval. The ovals in the punch nest nicely, giving you a pretty layered label. I used it along with the pretty floral Well Suited designer series paper to make a friendship note card that is perfect for sending a quick note to anyone for any occasion. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
I adhered a strip of Misty Moonlight wood grained paper from the 2020-2022 In Color 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack to the left side of a Basic White panel. I adhered a panel of the pretty blue floral from the Well Suited designer series paper on the right side and wrapped the seam with Night of Navy ribbon and made a loopy bow.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Oval Occasions stamp set in Night of Navy ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the floral spray next to the sentiment and colored it with Stampin’ Blends – Pale Papaya, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo. I cut it out with the oval part of the Double Oval punch in the Stampin’ Up! Oval Occasions bundle.
I used the scalloped part of the Double Oval punch to cut a scalloped oval from Night of Navy card stock and adhered the stamped and colored oval label to the front. I adhered the layered label to the panel with dimensionals next to the bow and popped the panel on the front of a Misty Moonlight card base with dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the floral spray from the Stampin’ Up! Oval Occasions stamp set in the corner of a Basic White panel and colored it with Stampin’ Blends just like the front label. I trimmed the bottom of the panel with a strip of the floral Well Suited DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
General purpose note cards are extra special when they are handmade! And they are a great way to be creative without the pressure of coming up with the “perfect design for that special occasion”. And finally, they are perfect to mix or match in a card set for gift giving.

Good morning! Today I have a fun fold Birthday Card / Gift card holder made with the yummy Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream bundle. My card was inspired by a similar cupcake card on the Tatiana Creative Stamping Adventure blog – I fell in love with this idea the minute I saw it on Pinterest. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
The idea is that when you open up the card, instead of a triple scoop ice cream cone, you see a cone with 10 scoops! And there is a little section on the right side for a gift card. I started with a top folding Z-fold So Saffron card base and covered the top with the sprinkles Ice Cream Corner designer series paper. I used the smaller striped paper for the middle section and covered the top of the large section with the 2-3/4″ sprinkles paper and aligned it just below the fold. I used Tear & Tape adhesive to adhere the bottom to the large section, putting a strip behind the right edge, another strip 2-3/4″ from the right edge and a final strip along the bottom. Leave the top of this section open so you have a pocket to slide the gift card in. I used Stampin’ Seal for the rest behind the left side. I removed the Tear & Tape covers and adhered it to the bottom of the large panel.
I punched 7 ice cream scoops from the Ice Cream Corner DSP with the Ice Cream Cone Builder punch. I used my Water Painter to make 2″ splotches of Soft Suede ink to Basic White card stock. I wanted to use a thinner paper than watercolor paper, and since it was a small area, it worked ok. I added some spatter marks with my water brush and punched it out when dry. All for chocolate ice cream! And then I did the same thing with So Saffron to get some vanilla ice cream for my last scoop. I used the Ice Cream Corner DSP to cut out the cone.
I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Ice Cream Corner photopolymer stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink and adhered it to a Bermuda Bay mat. I stamped the other sentiment in Bermuda Bay ink and adhered it to a Bermuda Bay mat. I cut the Bermuda Bay scalloped accent with the Stitched So Sweetly die and adhered both labels and the scalloped accent to the left side of the large panel, aligning the top of the scalloped accent to the top of the gift card pocket.
With the label in place, I could start building my ice cream cone. I adhere the cone and first scoop and lined up the rest of the scoops so I can figure out which scoops will land on the folds. I adhered the first scoop on the top section so that it covers the scoop on the cone when the card is closed. The scoop will hang over the fold, so be careful to only apply the adhesive to the top part. I adhered the rest of the scoops on the top section. I folded the scoop that will be on the center fold and checked the alignment. I adhered the rest of the scoops on the large bottom section, finishing with the scoop on the fold. I adhered the bottom of the fold scoop. I adhered the last scoops to the middle section, trimming the top of the last scoop even with the fold. It will be covered by the bottom scoop in the top section when the card is opened.
I adhered the message panel to the Bermuda Bay mat and adhered it to the middle section. I cut the So Saffron panel with the Stitched So Sweetly die and adhered the Ice Cream Cone panel to the middle. I adhered the panel to the top section with Tear & Tape, centering it with the Bermuda Bay scalloped panel below. I finished the ice cream cone by adhering sprinkles with glue dots.
The Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream bundle is great for children’s cards or for anyone who is young at heart. And with the weather warming up, it’s perfect for any occasion these days.

Good morning! Today’s card is made with the pretty sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts cling stamp set and the True Love designer series paper. I used the retiring Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends to color the flowers in the DSP and paired it with a Purple Posy Card base for a floral black and lavender card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
I colored a floral panel of the True Love designer series paper with Stampin’ Blends – Dark Purple Posy and Mango Melody for the flowers and Granny Apple Green for the leaves. I colored a strip of the same paper for the inside at the same time. I adhered the larger panel to the top of a Basic Black mat and adhered a panel of the striped DSP to the bottom (there’s a slight overlap).
I stamped the beautiful sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Purple Posy and cut it out with the pretty Story Label punch. I used the Story Label punch again to cut two more punches from Basic Black. I cut one in half and adhered it to the back of the other one with 1/4″ space between them to make a longer mat. I adhered the stamped Purple Posy Punch on top to create the layered label.
I adhered the label to the DSP panel with dimensionals and wrapped a length of glittered black organdy ribbon around the seam and tied a knot. I adhered the panel to the front of a Purple Posy card base with dimensionals and finished the card front with three clear epoxy drops.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower from the Forever and Always photopolymer stamp set in stamped-off Highland Heather ink over the sentiment and trimmed the bottom with the colored DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
The Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts stamp set has beautiful sentiments in an elegant mixed font and it goes well with many other stamp sets and designer series papers. The florals in the True Love designer series paper pack are perfect for coloring, so are really versatile for matching any color palette that you may to use such as the retiring Purple Posy!

Good Morning! I hope you had a good weekend. Today I’m sharing the Stampin’ Up! Garden Wishes card that I made during my Facebook Live yesterday afternoon. This pretty bundle is so versatile and fun to play with. I based my card on a similar one in the Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog, but made a flower with lots of dimension! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
Here is the Facebook Live video showing how I made the card:
I posted a copy of the video in my YouTube channel here so you can view it there if you prefer.
I adhered a panel of Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a Misty Moonlight card base. I embossed a Seaside Spray panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and cut it with the second largest Stitched with Whimsey die. I adhered it to the front of the card with multipurpose liquid glue.
I cut the flowers from the Dandy Wishes Dies in the Stampin’ Up! Garden Wishes bundle from Bumblebee card stock and colored the stem with the Mossy Meadow Stampin Blend. I cut the lacy flower from vellum. I cut the dandelion leaves from Mossy Meadow and grass leaves from Garden Green. I adhered the Vellum to the card front with a glue dot in the center. I gently bent the petals up in the Bumblebee petal clusters and adhered them together with glue dots and finished the center with a little octagon colored with the Mango Melody Stampin Blend. I adhered the Bumblebee flower next to the Vellum flower so that the tips of the petal covered any visible glue dot. I adhered the grasses and leaves to the card front with glue dots, starting with the long grass, the leaves next and finishing with the short grass on top. I also trimmed the bottom of the stems so they’re even with the grass bottoms.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Wishes cling stamp set in Mossy Meadow ink on a strip of Basic White and trimmed the ends with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensional and accented it with a short length of Bumblebee Gingham trim tied with a Linen Thread bow. I finished the card front with a little bumble die cut from the Dandy Garden 6″x 6″ DSP.
For the inside, I stamped the dandelion from the Stampin’ Up! Garden Wishes stamp set in twice stamped off Mossy Meadow ink on a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Dandy Garden DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
The Stampin’ Up! Garden Wishes bundle is really great for making with Spring cards! I spent some time in my garden this week and found a few budding dandelions that I pulled and they reminded me of this pretty suite, so I knew I had to pull it out. I love the contrast of the modern, angular die cut flower with the fine line drawn images – so many ways to use this pretty bundle!

Good Friday morning! The Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window bundle is a cute window stamp and dies bundle that lets you make window themed cards with both stamped and die cut window elements. With these elements, you can make cards featuring an outside window view or an inside window view that shows an outdoor scene. My card shows an outside window view on a stone house that I made with the Stacked Stone background stamp and Old World Paper 3D embossing folder. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
I stamped the Stacked Stone background stamp on Sahara Sand card stock using Sahara Sand ink and ran it through the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder. I adhered the panel to a Basic White mat. I used the Window Flower Box dies that come in the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window bundle to cut the window and shutters from Basic White and the sill and shutter hinges from Soft Suede. I adhered the hinges to the shutters with dots of liquid glue.
I used glue dots to adhere a square vellum lace panel behind the window and trimmed the excess with my paper snips. I brushed Sahara Sand ink on a Basic White panel with my blending brush and adhered it behind the window die cut with more glue dots. I trimmed the top corners with my paper snips. Then I popped the window on the panel with dimensionals and adhered the shutters nest to the window with dimensionals and the sill under the window with dimensionals. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window photopolymer stamp set in Terracotta tile and the leaves in Garden Green on Basic White. I cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the medium pot in Pacific Point and cut it out with the coordinating die.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window stamp set in Misty Moonlight ink on Basic White and cut it out with the smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered it to the panel and adhered the pot next to it. I popped the flowers on the pot with dimensionals and added a Linen bow to the pot and Terracotta Tile butterfly gem to the label. I popped the finished panel on the front of a Misty Moonlight card base wit dimensionals.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the window from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window stamp set in stamped off Sahara Sand ink on the side of a Basic White panel. I stamped the shutter next to it in stamped off Misty Moonlight and stamped the flower and leaves under with stamped off Terracotta Tile and Garden Green. I subtly stamped a few bricks in stamped off Sahara Sand and trimmed the bottom in a Sahara Sand strip that was stamped with the Stacked Stone background stamp like the front. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
I used both the die cut and stamped window elements from the Stampin’ Up! Welcoming Window bundle for today’s card and I love both of the looks. Wouldn’t this make the perfect card to accompany a housewarming gift for a new neighbor?
Note that Terracotta Tile is one of the 2019-2021 In Colors and will be retiring in May, so all the Terracotta Tile papers, inks ribbons and embellishments are on the retiring list with the other 2019-2021 In Color products. In addition, the wood mount Stacked Stone background stamp and the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder are also on the retiring list (luckily the cling mount Stacked Stone background stamp will be returning).

Good morning! The little critters in the Stampin’ Up! Springtime Joy cling stamp set are really cute with their floral crowns. They are perfect for making sweet springtime as well as Easter cards like I did for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.
I stamped the lamb from the Stampin’ Up! Springtime Joy stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Basic White card stock and colored it with Stampin’ Blends – Just Jade, Magenta Madness, Mango Melody Poppy Parade and Night of Navy. I accented the lamb’s wool with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blend and smoothed it with the color lifter. I also added some Light Petal Pink to the cheeks and used the color lifter there too.
I cut the lamb out with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes die. I also cut out thee largest scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals dies and adhered them together. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Springtime Joy stamp set in Just Jade ink on a strip of Basic White and cut it out with the banner die from the Tasteful Labels dies. I adhered it to the bottom of the layered oval panel with glue dots.
I embossed the Bumblebee panel from the Flowers for Every Season 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhered it to a Basic White mat. I adhered the floral Flowers for Every Season DSP strip to a Just Jade mat and adhered it to the embossed panel. I wrapped a length of Just Jade ribbon around the panel and tied a bow and trimmed the ends. I popped the little lamb on the panel with dimensionals. I adhered the panel to the front of a Bumblebee card base and finished the front with three Magenta Madness enamel dots.
For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Springtime Joy stamp set in Just Jade ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the tulip next to the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Magenta Madness and Just Jade Stampin’ Blends. I adhered a strip of Flowers for Every Season DSP to the bottom of the panel and then adhered the panel to the inside of the card.
The Stampin’ Up! Springtime Joy is perfect with the Flowers for Every Season designer series paper! Bright, cheerful florals with cute furry critters are so welcome after a cold snowy winter!
