Stampin’ Up! Petal Park for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Good morning! Welcome to the February Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop! The theme for this month’s hop is “Birthday” and I used the sweet Stampin’ Up! Petal Park bundle to make a simple fun fold Birthday card! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Balmy Blue Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a panel of Balmy Blue card stock with liquid glue. I adhered a panel of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the front of a 3″ mini card and adhered the mini card to the DSP panel with liquid glue.

I stamped the large leaf spray line image from the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park photopolymer stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink on Basic White and used stamped off Shaded Spruce ink to stamp the filler image. I cut it with the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies.

I stamped the three large outline flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Basic White. I stamped the filler flower image in Balmy Blue and cut the flowers out with the coordinating punch. I adhered the flowers to the die cut circle with dimensionals and adhered Milky Dots to the centers. I adhered the decorated circle to the card with liquid glue.

I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Versamark ink on a strip of Night of Navy. I sprinkled it with white embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated the powder with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny. I cut the sentiment out with the small label die from the Sending dies, using the two step die cutting method. I adhered the label to the card with glue dots. I made a bow with Starry Sky metallic ribbon and tucked it under one of the flowers, adhering it with a glue dot. I finished the card with a dragonfly trinket, adhered with a glue dot.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park stamp set in Night of Navy in the corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower filler image in Balmy Blue and the leaves in Shaded Spruce – full strength for the outline and stamped off for the filler. I stamped the sentiments from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Night of Navy and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP before adhering it to the inside of the card.

A pretty floral birthday wish with the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Petal Park bundle and Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP!

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Friendship Card with Video Tutorial

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet photopolymer stamp set is a pretty Valentine’s Day stamp set, but it’s also wonderful for friendship cards. I paired it with the sweet Country Floral Lane designer series paper and the Lasting Label punch from the Lovely and Lasting bundle for a pre-Superbowl Facebook Live yesterday afternoon where I made this card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

You can watch my FB Live video on my Facebook page HERE. I also posted the video to my YouTube Channel and you can view it HERE.

I cut a floral panel of Country Floral Lane designer series paper on an angle about 1-1/4″ shorter on the left side. I applied Petal Pink ink with a blending brush to the top of a panel of white Textured Shimmer paper. I stamped the small open hearts from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet photopolymer stamp set along the blended edge so that they would show above the slant after the DSP was adhered. I adhered the slant cut DSP to the panel with liquid glue.

I adhered another panel of Country Floral Lane to the front of a Petal Pink card base with liquid glue on an angle. I adhered the layered Texture shimmer paper panel to the card front, offset from the first layer of DSP. I made a big double loop bow with white crinkle ribbon and adhered it to the card front with a glue dot.

I stamped the frame from the Lovely and Lasting photopolymer stamp set in Mint Macaron on Basic White. I stamped the sweet sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Petal Pink ink on the label and punched it out with the Lasting Label punch. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals over the bow and finished the card with three pearl hearts.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set using Mint Macaron ink on the top of a Basic White panel and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Country Floral Lane DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stamping’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set is perfect for Valentine’s Day, but also for other occasions where you want to express love and caring thoughts. The hearts and flowers theme is real sweet and the sentiments pretty and simple. These pictures don’t capture the shine from the Textured Shimmer paper, too bad. It’s really pretty with the subtle striped texture and it takes the color pretty well.

Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Friendship Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Petal Park bundle is a pretty two step stamping floral bundle with a wonderful coordinating punch. It’s part of the new Regency Park suite and coordinates well with the Sentimental Park bundle and Regency Park 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and I used all three for my card today. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered the striped panel of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to the floral panel with liquid glue and adhered the layered panel to the front of a Night of Navy card base. I stamped the leaf spray from the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park photopolymer stamp set using Shaded Spruce ink. I stamped the line image full strength and stamped the filler image over it in stamped off ink. I adhered the panel to a Night of Navy mat.

I stamped the two step triple flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park stamp set on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the line image in Sweet Sorbet ink and stamped the filler image over it in Petal Pink ink. I punched the flowers out with the coordinating punch and adhered them to the leaf spray with dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Night of Navy ink on Petal Pink and adhered it to a Night of Navy mat. I adhered it to the floral panel with liquid glue.

I popped the layered panel on the card front with dimensionals. I colored a length of white crinkle ribbon with a dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I finished the card with blue flower gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the floral image from the Sentimental Park stamp set using Petal Pink ink in the corner of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stamping’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Petal Park bundle has pretty two step stamping flowers and leaves with a coordinating punch. The punch cuts three different sizes of flowers and a leaf. The two step stamping can be done with different colors or in full strength and stamped off ink, or can be colored with other coloring methods. It’s a pretty versatile set, so check it out!

Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! The Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain bundle is a cute weather theme bundle with cute critters and is perfect for fun spring cards. I used it with the Rain or Shine specialty designer series paper for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a color challenge this week and here is the pretty color palette we are using:

I adhered a panel of Rain or Shine specialty designer series paper to a Mango Melody mat and popped it on an Old Olive card base with dimensionals. I cut bunny and turtle from the DSP with the Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain dies and used the same dies to cut a Basic White panel. I adhered the DSP die cuts to the Basic White die cuts to make them thicker for popping on the cards with dimensionals.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain dies to cut a stump from Soft Suede and two grass clumps from Old Olive and adhered these die cuts to the card with liquid glue. Once these were on the card, I could place the bunny jumping over the stump and the turtle looking at the bunny, so I adhered them with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I cut it out with the largest banner die from the Stylish Shapes dies and trimmed off the left end with my paper snips. I adhered the label to the card with liquid glue and decorated it with loose daisy embellishments adhered with glue dots. I adhered more daisies around the tree stump to finish the card front.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink across the bottom of a Basic White panel. Since the Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends are no longer available, I used a Blender Pen to color the flowers. I colored the flowers with Mango Melody, Cajun Craze and Old Olive ink that I squeezed to the top of my ink pad covers. The flowers are so small that it’s easy to color them with a Blender Pen or a Stampin’ Write marker and get the same look as using Stampin’ Blends. It’s great to have so many coloring options and have your colors coordinate with the DSP! I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The some of the cute critters in the Rain or Shine DSP can also be cut out with the Stampin’ Up! Playing in the Rain dies that cut out the stamped images. Since the DSP critters have the shiny clear embossed look, I decided to use these for the card rather than stamping and coloring new ones. They’re so sweet and cute!

Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Simple Hello Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle is a pretty floral bundle with bold sentiments. And today’s card uses the pretty Hello sentiment with the gorgeous Favored Flowers designer series paper. This DSP also pairs the pretty pastels with a black background, so I used a Basic Black card base to accentuate the black and pink contrast! You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I cut a panel of Favored Flowers designer series paper with the third largest Stitched Rectangles die and adhered it to the edge of another panel of Favored Flowers DSP. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Basic Black card base with liquid glue.

I used my Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers cling stamp set in Basic Black on Petal Pink. I inked it up three times and stamped it and it was still a little splotchy, so I used my Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker to fill in some light areas. I cut it out with the second largest skinny rectangle from the Stitched Rectangles dies.

I made a loopy bow with black baker’s twine and adhered it to the card front with a glue dot. I adhered the label over the bow with dimensionals and finished it with Petal Pink faceted dots.

For the inside of the card, I fussy cut the outlines of some of the Calypso Coral flowers and adhered them to the corners of a Basic White card base with liquid glue. I trimmed the edges with paper snips and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. This leaves plenty of room to write a personal message (using black pen of course!)

The Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set comes in both cling and photopolymer versions, so you can choose the version that you prefer (you can also get either version with the bundle). The pink and black Favored Flowers Sale-A-Bration DSP is so pretty and bold that your card doesn’t need much more to make a pretty card. You can choose it as a free item with a $50 order (before shipping and taxes) during Sale-A-Bration.

Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy photopolymer stamp set is a pretty two step floral stamp set with lovely sentiments and it’s one of the items that you can choose for free with a $100 order (before shipping and handling) during Sale-A-Bration. For today’s card, I wanted to make a garden of these pretty flowers, so I used the masking technique to stamp multiple images. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set on a panel of printer paper and fussy cut it with my paper snips to make a mask. I stamped the flower in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on the left side of a Basic White panel. I covered it with the mask and stamped the image again on the left side a little lower than the first image. When stamping the flowers, the stamp extends beyond the panel, and I wanted to center the flowers in a pleasing manner on the panel.

I used the filler stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set to color the flowers and leaves by stamping. I used Sweet Sorbet ink for the flowers stamp and Granny Apple Green ink for the leaves stamp. I used the mask to cover the first flower each time I stamped the color on the second flower. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black in the corner of the panel and adhered the panel to a Pale Papaya mat. I stamped the flower twice in Memento Tuxedo Black on a second panel of Basic White and stamped the detailed Flowers in Sweet Sorbet. I colored the centers with the dark Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blend and fussy cut the flowers with my paper snips. I popped the flowers on the panel with dimensionals.

I adhered a panel of Lovely Linen designer series paper to a Pale Papaya mat with liquid glue and adhered the floral panel on top with dimensionals. I adhered the layered panel to the front of a Sweet Sorbet card base with dimensionals and made a bow with the black gingham ribbon and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I adhered a dragonfly trinket with a glue dot and finished the card with gold adhesive sequins.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the filler flower in Sweet Sorbet and the leaves in Granny Apple Green. I colored the center with the dark Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blend and adhered a strip of Lovely Linen DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to a Pale Papaya mat and adhered it to the inside of the card with liquid glue.

The Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set is perfect for using the two step stamping technique and it can also be colored with any of your favorite coloring techniques. Be sure to check out this pretty and fun Sale-A-Bration stamp set!

Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Here’s a country bouquet love you card made with the pretty Stampin’ Up! Two Tone Flora bundle and the Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge in the Blog Hop and here is the pretty card sketch we are using this week:

I adhered a panel of Mint Macaron Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ designer series paper to a Basic White panel and popped the layered panel on the front of a Mint Macaron card base with dimensionals. I stamped the flowers from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora photopolymer stamp set using the two-step stamping method by stamping the detailed stamp first in full strength ink and the background stamp next in stamped off ink. I stamped the large rose using Sweet Sorbet ink, the small rose using Pale Papaya ink and the small flower cluster using Balmy Blue ink. I also stamped a second large rose for the inside of the card and cut them all out with the coordinating dies.

I stamped three leaf sprigs from the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora stamp set in stamped off Shaded Spruce and cut them out with the coordinating die (I saved one for the inside). I stamped the sentiments from the Sentimental Park photopolymer stamp set in Mint Macaron on Basic White and cut it out with the pretty label die from the Potted Succulents dies. I arranged the die cuts on the card front and adhered the label and leaves with glue dots. I adhered the small rose with glue dots and the large rose with dimensionals. I colored the large rose with Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle.

Before adhering the small flower clusters, I made a triple bow with Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine and adhered it to the card with a glue dot. I adhered the small flower cluster with dimensionals and finished the card with several adhesive translucent pearl hearts.

For the inside of the card, I adhered the strip of Country Gingham 6″ x 6″ DSP to the bottom of a Basic White panel. I adhered the leaf sprig and large rose with liquid glue and trimmed the overhang with paper snips before adhering the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The flowers in the Stampin’ Up! Two-Tone Flora bundle are really pretty and come out so well using the two step stamping method. I love that there are coordinating dies to cut them out and the background floral die is the best ever. It’s definitely one of my favorites!

Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy Thank You Card

Good Morning and Happy February! I wanted to make a vintage style card with the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy Sale-A-Bration photopolymer stamp set and so I looked at cards from 10 to 15 years ago. Boy, was that fun seeing all the old favorite stamp sets and designer series papers! I decided to make it with layers of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ designer series paper and use a sponge dauber to distress the edges. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I used a sponge dauber to apply Crumb Cake ink around the edges of my panels of Regency Park 6″ x 6″ DSP. I picked a floral Petal Pink pattern for the front background and inside trim and a Petal Pink polka dot pattern for the vertical strip. I embossed the front background and inside trim papers with the Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder and adhered the background panel to the front of a Soft Suede card base with liquid glue. I adhered the vertical strip to a Soft Suede mat and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the large floral bouquet from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set in Early Espresso ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the flowers in Petal Pink and the leaves in stamped off Mint Macaron. I stamped the spatter stamp around the flowers using stamped off Crumb Cake. I then used my sponge dauber to apply Crumb Cake ink around the bouquet. I adhered the panel to Soft Suede and Petal Pink mats and wrapped it twice with Crumb Cake baker’s twine and tied a bow. I colored the flowers with Wink of Stella to give them some sparkle.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set in Early Espresso in Petal Pink and adhered it to a Soft Suede mat. I adhered the label over the baker’s twine with dimensionals and adhered the layered floral panel to the card front with dimensionals. I finished the card with iridescent gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the little flower from the Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy stamp set in Crumb Cake ink in the lower corner of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with the Regency Park 6″ x 6″ distressed and embossed DSP strip and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Beautifully Happy Sale-A-Bration stamp set is a gorgeous two-step stamp set with pretty flowers and wonderful sentiments. It is one of the items that you can get for free with a $100 order (before shipping and taxes). It was fun to make a vintage style card and I didn’t use a single die!

Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers Thank You Card

Good Morning! The Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers bundle is a pretty floral bundle with bold sentiments. The Sale-A-Bration Favored Flowers designer series paper coordinates perfectly with the bundle and some of the designs can even be cut out with the dies. I used them both for my card today, but instead of the beautiful bold sentiments, I used the Simply Succulent stamp set and coordinating Potted Succulent dies for my sentiments. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I stamped the big floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Basic White panel. I colored the flowers with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends and the leaves with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends and cut it out with the coordinating die. The coloring process was a little tedious, but I love the way it came out – it coordinates beautifully with the flowers in the DSP. I just took my time coloring it one petal at a time focusing on coloring the flower’s detail lines.

I adhered a panel of geometric Favored Flowers designer series paper to a Basic Black mat and then adhered it to a floral DSP panel with liquid glue. I adhered it all to a Basic Black mat and then adhered it to the front of a Petal Pink card base with liquid glue. I cut two large and one small leaf from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers dies from Mossy Meadow and adhered them to the card with dots of liquid glue. I popped the stamped and die cut flowers on top with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents cling stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black on Mossy Meadow and cut it out with the label die from the Potted Succulents dies (these label dies are so pretty!). I folded a length of Petal Pink ribbon and adhered it to the card front with glue dots and adhered the label on top with glue dots and dimensionals. I finished the card front with pastel iridescent gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set in Petal Pink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Succulents stamp set (Isn’t this the best sentiment?) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Favored Flowers DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

The Stampin’ Up! Fragrant Flowers stamp set comes in both cling and photopolymer versions, so you can choose the version that you prefer (you can also get either version with the bundle). The Simply Succulents sentiments aren’t as bold as the ones in the new bundle, but I love these sentiments and they fit better on this card design without covering the pretty flowers too much. And for today I even took the time to make a decorated envelope by stamping the flower in Petal Pink and adhering a strip of DSP to the back flap. The pink and black is so pretty and so dramatic and you can choose it as a free item with a $50 order (before shipping and taxes) during Sale-A-Bration.

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Valentine’s Day Card

Good Morning! I love the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set along with the Country Floral Lane designer series paper, so I had to pull them out again for another Valentine’s Day card. Here is a simple card made with the pretty bicycle pattern in the Country Floral Lane DSP pack. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a strip of Balmy Blue Country Floral Lane designer series paper to a bicycle panel of Country Floral Lane DSP with Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered DSP to the front of a Balmy Blue card base with liquid glue. I wrapped a length of Sweet Sorbet baker’s twine around the card front and tied a bow.

I stamped the large heart from the double heart stamp in the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet photopolymer stamp set in Petal Pink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment over the heart in Mossy Meadow ink and cut it out with the third largest circle die in the Stylish Shapes dies.

I cut a scalloped circle from Sweet Sorbet using the fourth largest scalloped circle die in the Layering Circles dies and adhered it to the back of the stamped circle with liquid glue. I adhered it to the card front with dimensionals and finished it with three pearl hearts.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet on a Basic White panel. I stamped the open double heart next to the sentiment in Balmy Blue ink and trimmed the bottom with a strip of Country Floral Lane DSP. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I love the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet stamp set because of the beautiful hearts and wonderful sentiments and the sweet Country Floral Lane designer series paper. While it’s perfect for Valentine’s day, it’s also great for any spring time occasion celebrating love!
