Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Friendship Card

Good Morning! With it’s pretty leaf prints and sentiments the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern cling stamp set is a favorite. It coordinates with the Forever Flourishing dies so you can cut out the stamped images. I used these with the pretty Sun Prints designer series paper for today’s card. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of Sun Prints designer series paper to a Brushed Silver Foil sheet with liquid glue and adhered it to the front of a Night of Navy card base with dimensionals. I cut the large fern die from the Forever Flourishing dies from white Textured Shimmer paper and the medium fern die from Vellum. I adhered the die cuts to the card with glue dots.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern cling stamp set in Versamark ink on Night of Navy. I sprinkled it with White embossing powder and shook off the excess. I heated it with my heat tool until it was bright and shiny and cut it out with the fancy circle die from the All That dies.

I tied a knot in a length of white glitter organdy ribbon and made a loopy bow from Starry Sky metallic ribbon. I adhered these to the card with glue dots and adhered the label on top with dimensionals. I tucked a silver sprig trinket under the label, adhering it with glue dots and finished the card with rhinestone gems.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the large leaf sprig from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern stamp set in stamped off Starry Sky ink in the corners of a Basic White panel. I trimmed the bottom with a strip of Sun Prints DSP and adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal. I even finished the back of an envelop flap to make a custom envelope for this pretty card!

The Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern is such a pretty set and a long time favorite. It’s nice to pair it with some newer designer series paper and pretty shiny silver accents!
