Good morning and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I love a Christmas Card with a pretty Christmas card and I used the Stampin’ Up! Trimming the Tree photopolymer stamp set for my Christmas Card today. And since it’s September, the Stampin’ Up! Perfect Partners promotion has begun and I used the coordinating Tree Trimmings dies to cut out my tree for the card front. You can find the supplies I used along with card stock cuts at the bottom of my post.

We have a sketch challenge this week and here is the pretty card sketch we are using today:

I used the 4th smallest Stitched Rectangle die to cut a Real Red panel of Sweetest Christmas designer series paper and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. I used the next largest Stitched Rectangle die to cut a striped panel of DSP and adhered it to a Real Red mat before adhering it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the large Christmas Tree from the Stampin’ Up! Trimming The Tree stamp set in Garden Green on Soft Sea Foam card stock. I inked up the smaller detailed tree stamp in Garden Green and stamped it off before stamping over the tree. Isn’t it pretty how the three shades of green give texture and dimension to the tree? I cut out the stamped tree with the outline die from the Tree Trimmings dies. I cut a tree stand from Crumb Cake card stock and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. I cut a star from Crushed Curry and adhered it to the tree top with a glue dot. I used dimensionals to adhere the tree and star to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Trimming The Tree stamp set in Real Red ink on Basic White. I cut it out with the pretty label die from the Tree Trimmings dies and adhered it to a Garden Green ribbon with glue dots. I adhered the label and ribbon to the card front with dimensionals and glue dots and decorated the tree with Red Rhinestones.

For the inside of the card, I stamped the pretty sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Trimming The Tree stamp set in Real Red ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the fir sprig from the Christmas Banners photopolymer stamp set in Garden Green ink next to the sentiment and adhered a strip of Sweetest Christmas DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to the inside of the card with Stampin’ Seal.

I’m so excited about the Perfect Partners promotion, bringing coordinating dies to some favorite stamp sets. So be sure to check it out!
