Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Thank You Card

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a simple card made with a couple of the wonderful FREE Sale-A-Bration items – the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments stamp set and the pretty Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper. You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a panel of the pretty Daffodil Afternoon designer series paper to a Flirty Flamingo mat and then wrapped the layered panel with Flirty Flamingo and gold ribbon. I secured it in the back with Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the layered panel to the front of an Evening Evergreen card base with dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments photopolymer stamp set in Evening Evergreen on a Crushed Curry panel. I cut it out with the Tasteful Labels die and adhered it to the card front with dimensionals over the ribbon – make sure the dimensionals adhere to the DSP as well as the ribbon to keep it secure. I finished the card front with three iridescent jewels.

I kept the inside card simple, by just adhering a strip of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the bottom of a Very Vanilla Panel and adhering the panel to the inside of the card. This leaves plenty of room to write a personal message!

Pretty DSP is wonderful for making simple cards! Adding a few shiny embellishments such as ribbon or jewels really steps it up. And the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments stamp set is full of wonderful sentiments that are great for many different occasions with so many different and beautiful fonts. It’s already one of my favorite Sale-A-Bration items!
