Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour Here for You Card

Good morning! Today I have a sneak peek of the new Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour bundle from the upcoming 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalog. This is the pretty bundle that includes the new Scalloped Contours dies and I’ve used a couple of them for today’s card, but there are also some fun abstract floral stamps in the set that are fun. And I have to apologize because the Purple Posy card stock has sold out (you can still get some in the 2019-2021 In Color pack item 149701). You can find the supplies I used at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I adhered a strip of the striped Ice Cream Corner designer series paper to the right side of a Purple Posy card base. I cut another Purple Posy panel with the large dotted scallop die from the Scalloped Contours dies from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour bundle. I adhered it to the left side of the card front so that the striped paper shows through. I used the Layering Circles dies to cut a large scalloped circle from Blackberry Bliss and a large regular circle from Basic White.

I used a blending brush to apply some light Bermuda Bay color to the Basic White circle and then embossed it with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. After embossing, I brushed a little more Bermuda Bay ink on the panel and adhered it to the Blackberry Bliss scalloped circle mat. I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour photopolymer stamp set in Old Olive and then stamped the flower in Terracotta Tile (which has also sold out- Oh My Goodness!) and brushed it with clear Wink of Stella. I cut the flower out with the coordinating die and adhered it to the circle with dimensionals. I love the light color behind the flower, and I think you could get the same shadowy effect with any color flower.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour stamp set in Blackberry Bliss on a Basic White panel. I cut out the smallest scalloped rectangle die from Blackberry Bliss card stock and adhered the label on top. Then I adhered the circle and label to the card front with liquid glue. I tacked the end of the flower to the card with a glue dot, added a bow made with the pretty Blackberry Bliss striped ribbon and finished off the front with three Pool Party Holiday Rhinestones.

The inside of the card is kind of plain – I just added a strip of Ice Cream Corner DSP to the side. But this leaves lots of room for a heartfelt message.

I love the abstract flowers in the new Stampin’ Up! Color and Contour bundle and the scalloped dies are sure to be a favorite. And there are great sentiments in this set too! Here’s my card along with the stamp set and dies
