Good Morning and welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! Today I used the Stampin’ Up! Forever and Always stamp set with the True Love designer series paper to make a fancy hello card. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

We have a color challenge this week, and here is the color palette we are using. Can you guess which additional color I chose?

I was also inspired by the sketch in CAS(E) this Sketch #403:
I started by stamping the flowers and leaves from the Stampin’ Up! Forever and Always photopolymer stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White. I stamped 2 large flowers, 2 small flowers, 4 large leaves and 7 small leaves. I colored the flowers with the Magenta Madness and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends and the leaves with the dark Old Olive Stampin Blend. I cut them all out with the coordinating dies.

I adhered a strip of the striped True Love designer series paper to a Basic White mat and then to a panel of the floral True Love DSP. I adhered the panel to a Basic White mat and popped it on the front of a Basic Black card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set on a strip of Whisper White and cut it out with the Ornate Frames die. I adhered it to the card front with glue dots and accented it with a Magenta Madness enamel dot.

I arranged the Stampin’ Up! Forever and Always flowers on the card front and adhered the two in the background with glue dots and the top flower with dimensionals. I tucked the leaves under the flower petals, adhering them with glue dots. I brushed clear Wink of Stella on the flower petals to add some shimmer.

I adhered a strip of the floral True Love designer series paper to the bottom of a Basic White panel and adhered it to the inside of the card. I arranged the last leaves and flower in the bottom corner and adhered them with glue dots.

The Stampin’ Up! Forever and Always bundle has the beautiful, bold flowers along with the words and sentiments and it goes beautifully with the True Love DSP. It’s been a while since I’ve used the Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends, but I’m really with how well they look on these bold flowers. What do you think?
