Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful Note Card

Good Morning! Today I’m sharing the third in a series of cards that I made using the sweet Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful photopolymer stamp set. Today’s card is another card that was inspired by one in the Aug-Dec Mini catalog, but I made made major modifications so I can’t really say that I CASE’d it. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

Emboss a Crumb Cake panel with the Tasteful Textile 3D embossing folder and adhere it to the front of a Crumb Cake card base. Cut a panel of Calypso Coral paper from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ designer series paper pack with the Stitched Rectangles Dies and adhere it to the card front on a wonky angle. Use the same die to cut a Whisper White panel.

Stamp the tree from the Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful photopolymer stamp in Soft Suede ink on the die cut Whisper White panel. Stamp the bird house in Crumb cake ink and stamp another Crumb Cake bird house on the small Whisper White panel. Using the leaf stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful stamp set, stamp the leaves in Pear Pizzazz, Bumblebee and Calypso Coral ink across the top branches. Stamp a few leaves in Calypso Coral and Bumblebee falling from the tree. Adhere the panel to the card front on an angle opposite from the DSP panel.

Fussy cut the second Crumb Cake bird house with paper snips and pop it on the birdhouse with a piece of dimensional. Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful stamp set in Versamark ink on a Calypso Coral strip. Heat emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder and cut it out with a Stitched Rectangle Die. Adhere it to the card front with dimensionals. Add some Artistry Blooms adhesive sequins to the tree top and label and wrap a length of Linen Thread around the card fold, making a bow.

Adhere a strip of Calypso Coral paper from the Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP to the bottom of a Whisper White panel. Stamp the birdhouse from the Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful stamp set in crumb cake ink in the top corner and stamp more leaves in Pear Pizzazz, Bumblebee and Calypso Coral. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Life is Beautiful Stamp set is really pretty and versatile. The graceful curves of the tree’s trunk and branches make you feel like you’re in a special place, and I haven’t seen a card made with this stamp set that didn’t make me smile.
