Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I am using the beautiful new Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks stamp bundle for my card share today, but in a new color palette.

We have a color challenge this week, and here is the color palette we are using:

I started by cutting the bottom of a Blackberry Bliss panel with the rose die cut border from the Ornate Borders Dies. The Ornate Borders Dies are part of the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks bundle along with the Ornate Thanks stamp set (and at a 10% discount). I adhered the panel of Perennial Essence designer series paper on top with multipurpose liquid glue.

I colored a 10″ length of Whisper White crinkle ribbon with the Dark Purple Posy Stampin’ Blend and tied a knot. I snipped the ribbon so that the knot would be to one side and wrapped it around the layered panel securing it in the back with snail. I added a glue dot just behind the knot to keep it in place and adhered it to a Purple Posy card base with multipurpose liquid glue.

I cut a panel of Old Olive vellum from the Perennial Essence Vellum card stock with the long fancy die from the Ornate Layers Dies. I wiped the embossing buddy on a panel of Purple Posy and stamped the long Thank You sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks cling stamp set with VersaMark Ink. I sprinkled it with silver embossing powder and heat set until it was shiny. I stamped the for everything sentiment in Blackberry Bliss ink. I adhered the fancy green vellum label backing behind the label with multipurpose liquid glue and adhered the layered label to the card front.

I stamped one of the flowers from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Whisper White and cut it out with the coordinating die. I colored it with the Dark Daffodil Delight, Dark & Light Purple Posy and Dark Old Olive Stampin Blends and adhered it to the top corner of a Whisper White panel. I adhered a strip of Perennial Essence DSP to the bottom. I adhered the panel to a Blackberry Bliss panel and then to the inside of the card with multipurpose liquid glue.

The Ornate Garden Suite is wonderful, and I was so pleased to see how pretty is is with the Perennial Essence designer series paper in a different color palette.
