Stampin’ Up! Love What You Do with Pressed Petals Thank You Cards

Good Morning! Today I have a set four Thank You cards made with the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper and stamped with the pretty Thank You sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Love What You Do photopolymer stamp set. I feel that I can never have enough thank you cards. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

In the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP set, there is a sheet that has a bunch of different floral panels. I took the four largest and cut them down to 3 3/4″ x 5″ and adhered them to a mat in coordinating colors – Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Merry Merlot and Flirty Flamingo.

I attached each to a Sahara Sand card base with liquid glue.

I took a strip of the burlap paper and stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Love What You Do stamp set in Soft Suede. I matted the sentiment in the same color as the main mat and adhered a strip of White Flax ribbon behind it with snail. I adhered the label to the card front with dimensionals.

For a little bling, I finished off each card with three crumb cake sequins.

I left the inside pretty simple, just added a coordinating mat to a Whisper White panel and adhering it to the inside of the card

Pretty Paper – check; Ribbon – check; Bling – check; Dimensionals – check. Basic elements for a fancy handmade card all accounted for in a simple easy to do project. I even included stamping! Taking advantage of the beautiful Pressed Petals specialty designer series paper gave me a quick way to replenish my stock of Thank You cards!

I’ll be doing my Facebook Live again this Sunday at 1:00. I missed it last weekend as I was returning from Stampin’ Up! On Stage. I received my November Paper Pumpkin this week – the Winter Wonders tags kit, and I will show you the tags and make some alternative design cards. Here’s my page.

Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas for the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Morning! Welcome to another Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop! I used the beautiful Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas cling stamp set along with the Toile Tidings designer series paper to make a nostalgic Christmas Card. Here is my card:

We have a sketch challenge this week, and here is the sketch we are using:

I used the second largest circle in the Layering Circles dies to cut a circle in a panel of Garden Green card stock and then ran it through the Subtle embossing folder. I used the largest scalloped circle in the Layering Circles dies to cut a scalloped circle from Real Red card stock. I cut a circle in the middle of the scalloped circle with the second largest circle die to create a scalloped frame. I adhered the frame to the embossed panel with liquid glue. I added a strip of the striped Toile Tidings DSP to the card front and added a length of the Garden Green ribbon on top, securing it on the back.

I stamped the double banner sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas in Garden Green on a panel of Very Vanilla and cut it out with the coordinating die. I adhered it to the panel with dimensionals. I tied another strip of the ribbon in a knot and adhered it to the panel with glue dots.

I cut a circle of the countryside Toile Tidings DSP with the largest circle of the Layering circles dies and attached it to a Thick Very Vanilla Card base with liquid glue. I was careful to select a portion that had an interesting scene, such as this with the children playing in front of the barn. I then adhered the embossed Garden Green panel to the card base with dimensionals, so that the little scene would show through behind the frame. I finished off the card front with 3 red glitter enamel dots.

On the inside of the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Toile Christmas stamp set using Garden Green ink on a panel of Very Vanilla. I added a strip of the countryside Toile Tidings DSP to the bottom of the panel and stamped the flourish in Real Red ink under the sentiment. I added a Garden Green mat and adhered it to the inside of the card. I adhered a panel of the countryside Toile Tidings DSP to the flap of a Very Vanilla medium envelope with liquid glue and trimmed it with paper snips.

The nostalgic images of the countryside Toile Tidings DSP bring back memories of winter fun and Christmases past. They are sure to make this Christmas Merry and Bright!

Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage Seasons Greetings Card

Good Morning! Today I have a blue Seasons Greetings card made with the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage stamp bundle. This beautiful set celebrates frosty cold nature in wintertime with leaves and snowflakes. The dies include a rectangular frame which can be decorated with other die cut elements. You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I started by stamping the scattered snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage stamp set in Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink on a Night of Navy card base. I cut the Frosted Frames large fancy frame die from a panel of Seaside Spray and the small stitched frame die from a panel of the Feels Like Frost designer series paper. I adhered the small stitched frame to the larger Seaside Spray frame with liquid glue.

I used the Frosted Frames dies to decorate the frame. I cut two of the leaf sprays from vellum card stock and one from Seaside Spray. I cut two of the star pairs from Sparkle Glimmer paper. I cut two of the small sprays from silver foil. I arranged the die cuts around the frame on the front and the back and adhered them with liquid glue. I adhered the decorated frame to the card front with dimensionals and finished off the snowflakes with pearl gems.

I stamped the Seasons Greetings stamp from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Versamark Ink on a strip of Seaside Spray. I sprinkled it with silver embossing powder and heat set. I stamped the snowflakes from the Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage stamp set in Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink on the embossed label and trimmed the ends. I adhered it to the card front with liquid glue and decorated it with a Seaside Spray silvery bow.

I decorated the inside by stamping the snowflakes again in Delicata Silvery Shimmer ink and the sentiment in Night of Navy ink on a Whisper White panel. I adhered the panel to a Seaside spray mat and then to the inside of the card.

The Stampin’ Up! Frosted Foliage bundle is a great set to celebrate the natural beauty of winter for any winter celebration. This is the first time I’ve used this beautiful stamp bundle. I hope you like it and break it out if you have the set in your stash too!

Stampin’ Up! On Stage Local – Hartford Review

Good Morning! Today I don’t have a card to share but I do have some pictures of the Stampin’ Up! On Stage Local event we had in Hartford CT over the weekend.

And Hartford was ready for us with a warm welcome!

So what is Stampin’ Up! On Stage? On Stage is the event where Stampin’ Up! recognized the achievements of it’s demonstrators and premieres the products in the new catalog. It is a world wide event and this year’s main event was held in Germany. Since they don’t expect that everyone can afford to travel to Germany, they have local events throughout the country. The one closest to me was in Hartford CT, so that’s why I refer to it as Stampin’ Up! On Stage Local in Hartford.

And Stampin’ Up! had a warm welcome for us as well with some great goodies including a free stamp set. Timeless Tulips is one of the new photopolymer stamp sets that will be available in the new January – June Mini Catalog beginning January 3. It is a great tulip stamp set and it comes with some wonderful sentiments in a sweet font. And it comes bundled with a punch! (We got to use the punch, but it didn’t come with our welcome package).

We had an opportunity to get a group picture with some of our Inkin’ Krew Team Mates. These ladies are awesome! The hard work, positive energy, creativity and willingness to help and each other is amazing!

And Stampin’ Up! kept us busy all day with inspirational talks, stamping demonstrations of the new products and recognition of Demonstrators’s achievements. Here are a couple of pictures of my Inkin’ Krew Team Mates doing the Make and Takes – We got to make 4 cards using new stamp sets and other beautiful products from the upcoming catalog.

Oh, and they also had ‘Prize Patrols’ where they gave away new stamp sets in the catalog. Here’s a group of us who received the beautiful Painted Poppy cling stamp set – it’s another great set!

And here is the new catalog! It will be open for ordering on January 3, 2020. I will be placing an order for January – June 2020 Mini Catalogs on December 3, 2019, and if you have placed an order with me, I will send you one via priority mail as soon as my order arrives!

And of course January 3, 2020 is also the start of Sale-A-Bration! I will also be ordering Sale-A-Bration catalogs and they will be included in my catalog shipments.

And I have posted other pictures on my Facebook page so check it out. There are samples created with the new products, swaps made from current products and display boards with catalog sneak peeks. Here’s the link to my Facebook page. Go ahead and like it to get updates from me.

This is me at the end of a long day, excited about all the new products and exhausted from all the fun.

If you’re interested in joining us, drop me a note and I will let you tell you all I can about it. I will add a page to my website with all the details about joining Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator within the next week or two.

Stampin’ Up! Day of Thanks Happy Thanksgiving Day Card

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a Thanksgiving Card made with the Stampin’ Up! Day of Thanks stamp set. This turkey looks just like the one on the Thanksgiving turkey platter that I have been using for 40 years, so I just had to get the set because it is a real traditional Thanksgiving turkey! You can find the supplies used to create this card at the bottom of my post along with the sizes of cardstock used.

I also used the wonderful Gather Together designer series paper for the card, so I started by cutting a panel of the Merry Merlot paper with the maple leaves I took a strip of the checked paper and adhered it across the Merry Merlot panel. I cut a strip of the Gather Together Crumb cake ribbon and attached it to the panel as shown. I cut a banner of Calypso coral and ran it through the pinewood planks embossing folder to give it some texture and attached it to the panel. I topped it off with a banner of the leafy Pretty Peacock paper.

I took a strip of Mint Macaron and stamped the feather from the Stampin’ Up! Day of Thanks stamp set in Mint Macaron on it several times, each time stamping it off twice first. I stamped the sentiment on the strip in Cajun Craze. I attached it to the Merry Merlot panel, then I attached the decorated panel to a Cajun Craze card base.

I stamped the turkey image from the Stampin’ Up! Day of Thanks stamp set in Early Espresso on a panel of Whisper White. I colored the turkey with Soft Suede, Smoky Slate, Cajun Craze and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends. I colored the Sky with the Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blend and the ground with the Light Old Olive. I cut it out with one of the Layering Circle dies and cut a Cajun Craze mat with the scalloped circle that matched it. I adhered them together and popped it on the card front with dimensionals. I added two Terra Cotta Tile faceted dots to finish it off.

On the inside of the card, I added a strip of the Merry Merlot paper to the bottom of a Whisper White panel and stamped the sentiment in Cajun Craze. I also stamped another feather in Mint Macaron, after stamping off twice.

Next week when I get back from On Stage local, it will be time to send out all my Thanksgiving cards … and plan my Thanksgiving day menu.
