Hello and Happy Friday! Today’s card is a simple white on white card with the beautiful floral images from the First Frost stamp and die set. The best wishes theme can used to celebrate many different special occasions.

I started by embossing the smaller piece of Whisper White cardstock with the Subtle embossing folder and then adhered it to one of the larger pieces. I then took a piece of satin Whisper White ribbon from my stash and used snail adhesive to attach and wrap it around the embossed panel. I adhered the panel to a Thick Whisper White card base using dimensionals.

I took the smaller piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock and using one of the stitched rectangles die, I die cut a panel for the flower and sentiment. The piece that I needed was longer than the die, so I carefully placed the die on one end of my paper and then cut about 2/3 the way through. Then I moved the die to the other end and was careful to align the stitches and die cut about half way through from the opposite direction. This resulted in a longer stitched rectangle. It took me a couple of times practicing on scrap paper to figure out how many times to turn the crank so that I cut enough, but didn’t cut the end.
I stamped the leaves and sentiment using Mossy Meadow on the die cut rectangle. I stamped the beautiful large rose image in Flirty Flamingo and cut it out with the matching die. I popped the rose on the stitched rectangle panel with dimensionals.

I popped the stitched rectangle on the embossed background using dimensionals again, then took another piece of the satin Whisper White ribbon to tie a bow and attached it next to the panel using a glue dot.

I used the clear Wink of Stella on the rose to add some shimmer and finished it off with a trio of faux pearls.

On the inside of the card, I took the leafy stem stamp and inked it in Mossy Meadow and after stamping off twice, I stamped it along the left side of the inside panel. I took another Flirty Flamingo rose and adhered it to the inside panel before adhering it to the inside of the card.
Luckily, the First Frost set will be returning in the new catalog. The white on white makes for a very elegant card, while the different textures and layers keep it interesting. And the clear Wink of Stella is perfect for adding a touch of sparkle to any flower. Thanks for visiting today!
